The toner has no smell and leaves no residue. As it doesn’t have alcohol it doesn’t sting the eyes but I kinda like the alcohol toners as it makes me really feel like my skin is clean?! It has made my face feel hydrated and smooth. I did break out in a couple of underground pimples which may be hormone related rather than product. Overall I think it’s an ok product but I probably would stick to my normal brand.

I’ve been using this twice a day for the past couple of weeks and I have to say, I really really like it! The biggest plus for me was that it contains no alcohol and that it is a established brand that has been around for almost 200 years! My skin didn’t feel dried out after using this and it made my skin feel very clean. Having something that is both alcohol and added fragrance free is such a big plus as it means less chemicals. It’s very gentle to the skin but really effective. Will be re-purchasing for sure!

Huge bottle of toner that retails at about $17 so lots to use & worth the price. Its a screw lid no pump which i prefer. I have acne prone skin & can be sensitive. When I used Thayers Unscented Alcohol-Free Toner with Witch Hazel Aloe Vera I thought awesome , great natural products & cruelty free , I support all that. I was surprised at first that it wasn't strong smelling which made it seem even better. I unfortunately had tiny needles poking feeling once I applied it on my cheeks. I have sensitive skin so I applied a little. After some time I tried it again & found it was still stingy & leaving red patches. I read the bottle & noticed it said citric * this may of been why. I gave it another go and found it was not to bad on my forehead & chin area, refreshing and applied smoothly. I will give this product another go, I do believe it gave me a hydrated fresh feeling.

I have loved trying this and it’s replaced my usual toner by Clinique! So has been nice to compare against something also. I have enjoyed the formula, it has been far more gentle and effective than Clinique - which has been hurting my eyes and adding redness to my skin.

It’s been a non-drying formula and sting free which has been nice and also settles my skin well, even with using a washable applicator.

It has a cooling sensation when applied and wipes across the face with ease. Very soothing and gentle.

It is grease free and non drying, it somehow leaves my face feeling clean but not dried.

I like the ingredient list - no alcohol means I don’t have to worry about my eye or stinging. Also it is great for my sensitive skin.

The witch hazel in it I have found very soothing. I have thin and sensitive skin and it has soothed this with ease. I tend to get quite red skin and I also found this doesn’t irritate that either.

It is rather scentless -and I found it goes quite far as I only need a small amount. I don’t mind it being scentless as it is a gentle formula my skin handles well.

I feel like it does clean and prep my skin that little bit more than just cleansing alone. And leaves it ready for the next step in my routine.

The bottle is cute and looks pharmaceutical almost which sits nicely up high in my cupboard so my kids don’t think it’s fun and exciting and want to pour it down the sink as they do with everything else that’s very colourful!

I have not seen this available in stored to do question how easy it will be to find again and also the price. But if easy enough and affordable I would reuse this product.

I have sensitive skin, to the point where my skin physically burns and throbs if I put a product on it disagrees with. I love to try new things and it's a risk I take. (ain't nobody got time for spot tests and it rarely works anyway). This product passed stage one, the sniff test. Strong fragrance, or even the lack of fragrance where it just smells like chemicals = red flag. This product has zero smell, literally like water. Stage two, consistency. Dribbled some on the fingers and again, similar to water. Ok I'm ready to apply. I wash my face with my trusty cleanser, get a cotton pad and wipe all over. Cool and refreshing, I won't know for a few mins if it's ok or not. Cleanser is close by ready for a swift removal. Ten mins pass. I'm still ok? No redness, no burn, no tingle whatsoever. Thirty minutes and I know I'm in the clear. Hallelujah. Welcome to the routine Thayers! We are gonna get along just great.

I'd heard great things about the Thayers Toners over the years from the American influences I follow and I had always wanted to try it. I was really excited to see this product available in NZ.

I love that this toner is unscented! I am someone that often prefers neutral smells for facial products, so I was happy to see an unscented option.

I like that it is a generous sized toner at a good price point, for a really good quality product. The bottle top has a nice small hole, so just the right amount comes out. Another benefit is that it is made in USA with good ingredients.

For me where this toner really stood out compared to other toners I have used, is how soft and moisturised it leaves my skin. Whereas in comparison I find other toners dry my skin out. My skin feels cleaner, smoother, hydrated and even a little more glowing since I started using this product.

I like to use this toner at night, after I have taken my makeup off and cleansed. I then follow with moisturiser.
