This cute little eyecream came in a jar. It's pretty, it's luxurious, but it's so impractical. Why on earth force the user to dip their finger into the pot when a tube or even a pump bottle would allow much more precise control of the amount of product you get out. I tried using a spatula to scoop some product, but that still felt wasteful when transferring it onto my finger then onto my eyes.
Onto the actual cream itself. It's nonscented and extremely thick. You only really need a TINY amount for the whole eye area, (another reason I hate the jar type packaging). It's smooth and somewhat calming when applied, and it's almost like an eye massage as I rub this in gently. I feel like it helps plumpen the skin in the area without any irritation. At least in my mind the skin around my eyes are a little bouncier after using this. I also put this on the crow-feet area because you can never start prevention too early! It didn't do much in terms of dark circles when I had bad sleep or the fine lines.
For me eyecream isn't the most vital thing in my skincare, so I wouldn't have included this unless I noticed it working magic. There's so much product that this can easily last me till next year, so hopefully some long term effects start popping up as I continue to use it. For now though, I'm a little conflicted. It feels nice to apply, and somewhat helps with hydration, but it's not a holy grail that I can't live without.
I used the eye cream as part of the whole Trilogy Sensitive Rang review. The eye cream comes in a small pot with a little spatula which you can use to transfer the product out of the pot. I preferred to just use my finger tips. I was really surprised at how rich and creamy this eye cream was compared to other eye creams I've used. The texture was more like a moisturiser. It is so gentle and fragrance free. I had no problems using the cream around the eye areas. My eyes are sensitive and I've had adverse effects with some creams. I love this cream and would definitely buy it again and recommend it for all skin types, you don't need to have sensitive skin to use this cream.
Tips: Only put a small amount on your fingers and massage around the eye area.
