This is my sunblock since I moved to NZ on 2009. I really did love it, but I don't think I'll be using it again. It felt heavy on my skin, like it felt really sticky and smells just like any other sunblock, and I get sick of the smell after using it for a while.

I got introduced to this spf moisturizer when I was working at a spa and cafe. They applied this on clients after facials before applying mineral make up. Since they were using it at the spa, I figured it must feel light and be good under makeup so I thought to give it a shot. I would have to give this sunscreen an A+ for it's light and clean, non-greasy finish. It doesn't feel like you're wearing sunscreen and is fantastic under makeup and even thought it's a bit higher priced for a supermarket sunscreen it's not really expensive especially since the tube is 88ml instead of the typical 50ml. The tube lasted me a long time and helped me get into the habit of applying sunscreen daily. If you have a teenager or just in general like a light, sunscreen with high spf this is one of my top recommendations especially if you don't mind chemical sunscreens. I stopped buying this when I started getting into anti-aging products so opted for spf moisturizers with more anti-aging ingredients and I'm now accustomed to the feel of more natural sunscreens so I don't mind it. But honestly feel wise, I would prefer this as it is a breeze to wear and is excellent for wearing under makeup, it just doesn't have a lot of anti-aging or natural ingredients which is why I stopped purchasing.
Tips: Excellent to wear under makeup, especially powders as it absorbs quickly and so powder foundation doesn't cake on. Also one of the best supermarket ones for those with acne prone or oily skin as it doesn't leave a greasy finish or feel.
This is a great sunblock and I love how high the Spf is, however, it can feel quite heavy and I have had the occasional break out. It does last a long time and a little goes a long way so it's good value for money.
Tips: Try not to out layer upon layer as you might find you will break out a bit.
In my opinion Neutrogena has one of the best product ranges ive come across. Their variety in products suite all skin types which is great and are so inexpensive + being able to pick them up literatilly anywhere. This Dry touch Sunblock is yet another great addition to their range.
I managed to pick this beauty up at the local Farmers to try out, The texture is a smooth, velvety feel and applys nicely on skin. It instantly cools and soothes given a nice layer of coverage on your skin. Love the product
This is a great sunscreen which really protects skin from sunlight quite well. My favourite thing about this sunscreen is the fact that it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the skin, in fact, it doesn’t even feel like there’s anything on. Yet it protects skin just like any good sunscreen would.
Tips: Re-apply for continuous protection
This sunblock is my favourite. I received a little sample and as soon as I ran out of that I went out to purchase it. I was a bit surprised by the price, I'm used to paying about half that for a sunblock. But the ones I had been using were quite greasy and sticky, whereas this one really is Ultra sheer and I think the extra cost is worth that. It comes out quite thick but when it goes on my skin can breath and I'm not causing extra breakouts with a heavy, oily block. It has a nice light fragrance and great protection, have never been burnt while using it.
I have been using this daily under my makeup for at least two years and I am happy to keep buying it.
I'm always a fan of anything with a high SPF that doesn't make my foundation look terrible. It has a great non-greasy texture and doesn't feel too heavy. The added bonus is that it doesn't have a really typical sunscreen chemical smell to it and you barely notice that it’s there a few minutes after application.
I have never been caught out while wearing this one but admittedly I'm very vigilant about reapplication and staying out of the sun anyway.
Good product, didn't feel gluggy or greesy on my face like most sun screens and it seems to last for ages as I don't seem to need to apply heaps
Tips: Give it a good shake before using as the ingredients tends to separate
I used this over the summer specifically for my face and neck and it worked great. It has a lightweight clean feel as the packaging says. I found it easy to rub in and it didn't make my skin oily. I have quite sensitive skin and find it hard to find a sunblock for my face that doesn't make me itchy or breakout and this one was perfect. It has a light scent and I like that it has a high SPF of 85+. I would recommend to friends and family, especially those with sensitve skin. I will definitely be repurchasing this summer.
Tips: For the price I specifically use this for my face and neck and then purchase a cheaper sunblock for the rest of my body.
I do like how this sunscreen isn't too greasy, though I have to moisturise very well before application, otherwise it's very hard to spread and I worry that I have patches of no sunscreen.
Neutrogena always has very high SPF in their sunblock, but I remember reading somewhere that selling something as over SPF 50 is misleading, because people think that they will be very very protected and may use less or something.... not sure if it was a NZ thing, but it was also something to do with the fact that SPF is a logarithmic scale, which doesn't mean that SPF 40 is double protection compared to SPF 20 which could also mislead people. Anyway, just a tangent. There doesn't seem to be as much of a white tint to this which is great.
