Frank Body Scrub

Yes this scrub smells great, yes it makes your skin feel amazing, but that's where it stops for me. I bought this in the hopes it would 'target' my stretch marks and cellulite like it claims. It made no difference whatsoever. I have gone through 3 packets, and will continue to buy it solely for the way it makes my skin feel and the way it exfoliates but i'm not holding my breath for a treatment for my stretch marks and cellulite.

I'm sorry this isn't the rave review that I have been waiting to write. This product just doesn't work for me.

I bought this product straight from the frank website (frankbody.com) for AUD $14.95 plus $4.50 for shipping although if you buy two or more shipping is free. I love the packaging, just a simple bag that lies really flat for shipping but sits up nicely on the shelf in my bathroom. It closes really well at the top so I haven't had any moisture get into it or any spillage problems.

The product itself smells amazing. It helps that I do love coffee itself and its scent too. There is also this fresh citrusy smell along with it which is amazing. My problem with the scent is that most of the time I shower in the evening so I don't really want to be perked up just as I am going to bed.

Now here is where my real problem starts, using the product. They advise that you step out of the shower for a bit to apply, and onto damp skin for it not to be so rough. Cool. So I get in the shower, get my skin wet (sorry to be a bit graphic here), then step out to apply the product. Now my bathroom isn't freezing, but I'm naked in the cool air and I'm getting a bit cold here. I apply the product which is ridiculously crumbly all over my skin, and all over the bath I'm standing in (argh for more cleaning). It's lovely. Smells good, a good scrub, but not to oily. Here is my problem, I am now expected to stand in my bath with this on for the next 5 to 10 minutes for it to dry and do its healing properties on my skin. I'm sorry, it is too cold and too boring to stand in my bath with this on for 10 minutes (or longer!!!!). So for that reason I can't really say whether it does help with stretch marks etc. But in its defence it does make your skin feel ridiculously soft, and moisturised but not oily.

So in some ways this is a winner, a reasonable price, a good scrub, and not to oily. But for me it is just too messy, too hard to apply, and the scent isn't good at night. I won't be repurchasing.

I had a bad reaction to Frank body scrub. I am not sure if it is because I have sensitive skin (I assume so) but my legs stung before I washed it off. However they did feel smoother after. I also think maybe I was allergic to something in it. Not a bad product just didn't realise it wasn't for everyone. Yes, I used the original one.

I found this scrub evened out my tone and moisturised my skin, making it feel baby soft. It also smells amazing but I would only recommend using if you like the smell of coffee as it makes you smell like a coffee shop :)

I was really excited to try this body scrub out :) I saw all the hype and heard good things about this product. First time using this scrub was amazing. It made my skin feel so smooth and soft. It definitely made my skin feel moisturize and it also has almond oil in it , so that was a plus. The down side was the scrub is really messy to put on and it went all over the shower . I definitely would recommend this product and I would buy this again. I love it :)

I am a sucker for all things scrubs and exfoliators so as soon as I saw Frank I knew that I just had to have it and try it out as soon as possible and I instantly fell in love and now have it as a "holy grail" product. I use it once a week EVERY week and it has definitely reduced the colour of stretch marks which I love especially after having 2 kids. I love how it removes any dry skin and leaves my body feeling nice and smooth. So grateful for this product. Get your hands on this product if you haven't already.

Wow wow wow. This scrub is amazing. Leaves your skin feeling so smooth, soft and luxurious. I decided to buy this as I have rather dry skin, especially on my legs. After 3 weeks of using this (2 times per week) I have notices a huge difference. Also states it helps with cellulite and stretch marks, these are not an issue for me so couldn't confirm that. But have heard from friends that it has reduced the size of stretch marks for them. It has a pleasant coffee fragrance. Packaging is cute too. Highly recommend giving this scrub a whirl ladies, it wont disappoint :)
