Love this stuff

I have previously only used more expensive professional products in the shower, but when I saw that this had the colloidal oatmeal I thought I would give it a try. I love the foam it produces makes you feel really clean but doesn't dry out your skin. I also prefer cleanser with no perfume so it ticks that box. It is more expensive than other products and the supermarket but it lasts for ages and I think it is really good value.

Tips: you only need a little bit to get a really good foam

Fantastic for dry, sensitive skin

These days this is the only body wash I use. I brought this after my dermatologist recommended it to me for eczema. i use both this body wash and moisturiser.

My skin tends to be dry and sensitive, so this is perfect for me. It has a lotion like consistency but foams up well.

I use this to shave my legs, and use as a body wash all over. It's not drying to my skin like other body washes and doesn't give it that tight feeling like other products have given me. An awesome product!

Expensive compared to other brands at the supermarket, but I tend to stock up when it's on sale at the supermarket.

Perfect product for those of us with sensitive, dry or skin issues.

Sensitive Skin? Try this!

+ First Impressions : Clean, simple and elegant packaging, just like all Aveeno products. I like how it tells you all the facts on the front so you don't have to go searching the fine print on the back while in the chemist or supermarket.

+ Product : If you have extremely dry skin this wont be a magical cure but it's not irritating like most body washes are for me. It's a nice compliment to the body lotion which I absolutely love and use all the time. It lathers nicely and a little goes a long way. Like the previous reviewer mentioned it's also fantastic as a shaving cream alternative for those of us with sensitive legs. Make sure you rinse your razor really well though as it can sometimes clog/dull the blades up a bit.

+ Price : I think even though it's a little more expensive, it's worth it. You only need to use a tiny bit each time and it lasts ages. I often get great 2 for 1 deals on Aveeno products at my local chemist.

+ Tips : After showering with the body wash I suggest while still damp applying the complimentary Aveeno Daily Lotion to lock in the moisture (or for those with eczema I would go a step further and suggest the Aveeno Skin Relief range as it's designed for those of us who need extra care in the hydration department - It's brilliant and needs to be added to the BR database!).

My son has combo skin. He used to have a really dry, scaly scalp as a baby and now seems left with drier skin on his body while having acne as well. That weird combo. So this could be the next body wash I get for him. Always on the look out for him.

Ahhveeno Body Wash

This was one of first body washes I bought, since I bought the lotion I wanted the matching body wash to go with it. Originally it had a low EWG rating which is why I bought it along with the body lotion, but the rating gone up since. I found this body wash to be non-irritating or dry my skin out like some other brands. I do have sensitive skin and it's prone to redness after I shower but I didn't have as big a problem when I was using this. It has a nice, neutral scent and can be found at the supermarket. Used with a shower puff the bottle lasted me a long time. The only reason I stopped buying this was because it had SLS and I switched to SLS-free washes and shampoos. But I still think this is one of the better more gentle body washes you can find at the supermarket and if I had to go back to supermarket brands I would definitely choose this one. I would highly recommend this body wash to whoever doesn't mind SLS and goes for supermarket brands.

Tips: Wait till it goes on sale at supermarkets, the warehouse and pharmacies and then stock up. If you use a shower puff you'll go through the bottle a lot slower.

Was using Organic Care until the supermarkets stopped stocking it. Now I'm currently using Moreish, but brands like Sukin, A'kin, Trilogy, Antipodes, are supposed to be SLS free. Unfortunately I haven't found any cheap options to replace Organic Care

Really good for sensitve skin

This body wash is great for sensitive and dry skin. It comes out very thick from the bottle and lathers up nicely. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is good for people who's skin will react to products that are heavily fragranced. Overall, it's very gentle and leaves your skin feeling very clean and soft.

Is a must for sensitive skin .!

Aveeno is an amazing brand for people who have sensitive skin. This brand is actually good in terms to quality and what they say each product is meant for. The moisturising cleanser Is not harsh to the skin and has is soap free and dye free and is hypoallergenic . :)

Love this product

We love aveeno in my house. I bought it for me and before I knew it everyone was using it. It works extremely well on sensitive skin.

Good!

Great for sensitive skin, one of the few products I found that worked well. Pity they've changed the range though, can't find this product in my supermarkets anymore!

Didn't work for my sensitive skin/ psoriasis

I have been hunting for a product to use in the shower and after reading great things about Aveeno and having tried their moisturizers with no problems I thought the body wash would be the same. Unfortunately I had the same result I get with many other wash products. It makes my skin go tight in the shower shortly after rinsing it off and leaves it stinging and burning. Much like how ordinary soap feels. I also tried the lavender one with a similar result. I still have it in the cupboard and I'm hoping I can give it another try if my skin clears up but for now that's where it will be staying. Just keep in mind I get psoriasis so this review is specifically for those with skin like mine. It's not to say I wouldn't suggest to a friend with normal skin that it won't work for them. I just wouldn't recommend it to someone with my skin type. If anyone does know of anything that could work for my skin type please let me know as I'm still on the hunt. My own coffee scrub has been keeping it settled for now- seems to be the only wash that works.

Sooo frustrating isn't it :( I've actually found the St Ives washes to be a bit milder...I'll just keep looking and trying I guess :(

I too have psoriasis and after 2 or 3 washes I noticed stinging and flare ups - oh so sore!
