This product is very easily accessible, and is a very gentle cleaner to refresh your face in the morning, or remove makeup at the end of the day. It has a liquid/gel appearance, that doesnt foam when combined with water. Some say it has a slimy feeling, but I dont mind the feel on the skin. I have used this product twice a dy for over a year, and i love it. It product lasts a long time, as you only need a little pump on your fingertips. Unlike a lot of cleansers out there, it doesnt have a scent. Sometimes scented products are overpowering first thing in the monring, so this product is great in that respect. I have combination skin, which is also prone to acne. This product has always been gentle on my skin. I would highly reccomend this cleasnser to everyone!

Reviews
Despite all the rave reviews, I found this cleanser a bit slimy and wasn't too cleansing. My skin didn't really feel any different after using it, and sometimes felt like it didn't give it a good clean.
I'd use this if I have absolutely no cleanserse available on me, but I most likely won't use it again.
This is the only other clenser that makes my skin feel amazing. It is easy to apply and doesnt have a fragrance. It lasts a long time because you only need a small amount.
Tips: Morning and Night, regular use will see the benefits.
I love this product and use it almost exclusively for my dry sensitive skin, to take off makeup and general day grime. The face feels soft, fresh and clean afterwards, even when tissued off. Soap and fragrance free, it was recommended to me by a dermatologist and when I have dermatitis on my hands it doesn't make them worse, which lots of other products do. Can be used without water (and tissued off or use a soft cloth) which is also handy for travelling or when you don't want to take your makeup off on the white face cloths!
Tips: Keep some in a small bottle (or get a sample baby sized one) for use during the day for washing/wiping hands or face, etc.
As a stressed teen and being a person who battles against having combination skin, Cetaphil definately has helped with controlling oil and dry skin at the same time, as well as improving my skin texture overall. Cetaphil is a very simple yet effective cleanser which has kept my skin very hydrated and doesn't strip the natural oils from my skin like others usually would. I would definately recommend this to any skin types especially troubled skin and combination skin!
Tips: I love that you can use it as a leave on product, just a small layer on the face to keep on overnight or on a cold dry day is so great for the skin!
This product is somewhat inexpensive for how much you actually get. It's a pretty average cleanser so if you've got very normal skin it'll work well. I use this when my skins feeling nice, no blemishes, not too dry not too oily. Doesn't have a scent and doesn't foam up either which I didn't mind too much but I usually do prefer one that foams up.
This is basically the MUST HAVE product ever! Or at least for me. Gentle on eczema skin and non-drying.
I don't like it very much i felt it had a slimy texture to it and didn't find it foamed up more just smearing it over my face it didn't really take my make up off very well.
It Doesn't have much of a smell to it, when I haven't had makeup on it has left my skin feeling cleaner but slightly tighter feeling.
All in all I'm not a fan but I'm sure the kids will end up using the rest of it when I'm not looking. I think because of the packaging and price I think it would be a good family face wash if you had younger ones.wantkng to get into skin care
Despite being a gentle cleanser, the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser contains sodium lauryl sulfate - one of the harshest surfactants around. If you're someone who is concerned about parabens, it also has 3 of the parabens on the "dirty dozen" list.
It doesn't clean off any make up or sunscreen. It feels gentle when I use it but my skin gets worse if I try to use it long term. It also leaves a filmy residue on my face.
There are much better options out there for cleansers that don't have such harmful ingredients and do a much better job cleaning your face.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you're probably better off using water.
Tips: Try to find a cleanser that is better for your skin long term
This stuff does the job well, it gets rid of makeup, oil, dirt etc. I really can only give it one fault, and that's the smell! It's rather clinical. Other than that, this is a huge product which lasts for ages, easy to store and travel with. White creamy consistency which I have found you can use wet or dry for the face and it works well. Does tend to dry skin out a bit, but I like this as my skin has been oily of late.
Tips: When the pump applicator suggests there is no product left, open the screw top and put a put of water in and shake. Once this has run out the bottle can be cut open and a lot of product is often left.
