Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

I am a dedicated Aveeno convert! I tried Aveeno after struggling to find a moisturising cream that worked - I didn't want something that was greasy or overly scented and would work on my combination skin. A friend introduced me to the Aveeno range and I have never needed another product since. I get quite dry patches on my knees, upper arms and elbows, and with 2 children in nappies, I do a LOT of handwashing so my hands are always suffering. I keep my Aveeno by my bed and apply it after my shower in the evening. It absorbs instantly and leaves my skin feeling amazingly soft and supple. There's no real scent to the product which is fabulous. I prefer the cream to the lotion, simply because I prefer a thicker product, and I actually prefer the tube as I find it easier to get the last little bit out - but either way, this product is amazing. Best of all, it has a wonderful price tag and is great for the whole family.

After about two years of my grandmother raving about this moisturiser i finally gave in and purchased a bottle. My son suffers from bad eczema, and after actually buying this product for myself, I actually decided to use a little on a patch that he had on this knee. The results have honestly been amazing. Before using this, i was actually a moisturise 1-2 times a day kinda gal, due to really dry skin, especially on my arms. But after using this - it is acually a once every two days kinda job for me! My skin is so moisturised and supple, i just love it and wish i had of bought it sooner honestly. I also love the fact that it is non greasy - this in the past has been a huge problem for me. Using it on my sons eczema has also made a huge difference. His skin is no longer scaley and dry and he is not as itchy as when we have used other moisturisers. I love this, and as long as they keep selling it, I will keep buying it.

I have really dry skin on my legs and arms and this is my go to product especially in the summer. It is super moisturising, and it works! It soaks in and doesn't leave a greasy feeling, but it still leaves your skin feeling moisturised. I like that it has no fragrance, so it doesn't compete with my perfumes, but helps them last longer, as perfume lasts more on moisturised skin apparently! I love the price, its so reasonable and available at the supermarket so I can pop it in my food shopping, and no one is any the wiser. I like the pump, so you can hygienically dispense the amount you need and you can get the last drop of it out too. There is nothing bad to say about this product, and I have persuaded my hubby to use it on his dry skin as well, and because it has no fragrance, hes happy to use it.

I bought a bottle of this to try on my hands in the winter - my eczema plays up something chronic then, and I need to keep my skin moisturised. I didn't expect too much from it, but from the first time I applied it I loved it. It felt light enough to soak into my skin quickly, yet heavy enough to really feel like it was giving me lots of moisture. I wouldn't use it on my face unless I had nothing else, it leaves a bit of a residue feeling, but for body it is brilliant! I use it everywhere now and haven't had trouble with my eczema so far.

I recently purchased a bottle of this because I was in need of a new moisturiser, and honestly will never go back to using any others! I have quite dry skin and this has been the most amazing thing coming into summer!

I use it all over my body, and I saw results within 2-3 days of using it! It feels very light and non-greasy on the skin, but does a great job at keeping my skin soft and smooth! I also like the fact that it does not have a fragrance and has no "nastys" that may irritate my skin, and that overpower my fragrances.

This is the best moisturiser I've ever used. I use it on my face. The product itself feels light, but once applied, forms a nice seal. As opposed to other moisturisers that sink in and leave me feeling like "where did it go? is my skin any different?", I can touch my face hours later and still feel that moisturised layer. I apply this in the morning and at night, and when I wake up in the morning my skin is still soft and moisturised.

It MAY be too thick for other people's faces, especially if you have skin that clogs easily, so patch test carefully before you use this on your face.

It is absolutely excellent for hands and body.

I love this moisturiser! I have dry and sensitive skin and it is one of the very few products which always gives me beautiful, soft skin.

I love the Aveeno range, specifically this particular product of theirs, because it is so gentle on my skin whilst giving it the hydration that it needs. I get really dry skin in the winter and it gets so itchy so I need to moisturise regularly in order to prevent this. I find that regularly using the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion helps me to combat this itchiness. There is also no fragrance and the product is from fairly natural origin so it makes me feel better about putting it on my skin.

Firstly, I do like the simple but effective packaging of it. It comes with a pump that is easy control so you are able to get just the right amount of product.

I do like that it is fragrance free - though it does seem to have a subtle oatmeal scent - and that it actually works for me! Even though I don't have particularly sensitive skin, I do have dry skin and this really moisturises and leaves my skin in a healthier, nourished state, especially in the colder, drier, winter months. I've been using this for years and absolutely love it.

I like that it doesn't leave my skin greasy and I find that there is the perfect balance between the time it takes to absorb, the texture and the actual moisturise it provides. It sinks in fairly quickly, isn't too thick and is one of the best at moisturising my skin - especially on my dry elbows, knees and cracked heels. The natural ingredients means that your skin absorbs the best possible nutrients which is better for your overall health anyway.

My final verdict? Love, love, love and would DEFINITELY repurchase.

This is a great daily body moisturiser. I use it all over and especially good on dry areas. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin, however it hasn't failed me at all.

If you buy on sale you can get it for around $10 which I think is a great price.
