Wow it packs a punch!!

Wow it feels like I’ve been playing apple bobbing in a vat of scrumpy cider!

I love using this moisturiser in the mornings when I’m in need for a touch of refreshment to wake me up, this cream has it all for me as a daily lotion, heavy for dry skin but light enough not to leave oily, a wonderful scent, and SPF built in!

Firstly let’s talk about this scent, I have never come across another product that claims to have an apple fragrance or includes apples that has produced this smell. It’s fantastic! It doesn’t smell fake at all, it feels like your rubbing fresh apple cider on your face it has never failed to bring a smile to my lips (being a girl growing up in the apple bowl of England, I spent many holidays scrumping apples and getting sore stomach from overloading) so it triggered a nostalgia in me that I cherish. If Oasis read this, please!! Never change this

And now the important stuff, the moisturiser, the faint apply green/yellow tinged cream that is quite thick but not thick enough to be able to be squeezed through a pump lid. This cream has left my face fully hydrated and offers sun protection which saves a step in the daily routine. It gives my face a glow, has never left it looking greasy or oily and never irritated or caused any breakouts to occur.

The cherry on top is that it’s all natural and a NZ based company, the price is reasonable as with all their products they are a great high quality so you don’t need to be slathering this on with a heavy hand, one pump will be ample.

Like biting into a crunchy apple

Hhhmmmm where to start. The product as a whole is beautiful. The packaging is cute, simple and not over done. Of course it matches the rest of their range, looks great all lined up with the others. The pump I love, you only need one or two pumps maximum. Saves on squirting out to much and wasting.

The cream is silky. Smells AMAZING. Fresh like a crunching apple. Even on cold, wet and grey days the fragrance is a happiness booster. It's not a fake apple smell. A light, crunchy, real apple.

I have dry sensitive skin, I normally need a thick moisturiser. This is a light one that soaks right in. Thick ones can leave a greasy feel. I have used this for ages and it doesn't leave a residue. I can even put it on over a greasy one and it takes the oily feel right away.

Wearing this under their BB cream and or a foundation just works a treat. It's nice to put on hands as well.

We haven't seen any sun since I have been using it so can't comment on the SPF. I do love the fact it's in there though. I hate wearing sunscreen on my face but I have to as I burn easy.

Tips: Putting it on in the morning is a great wake me up. No need to wait to put on BB or foundation.

Oasis Beauty

Anti Ageing, SPF 25' daily moisturiser, this is filled with anti ageing vitamins A,C and E, lighten and brighten. Made in New Zealand. Organic. Ok it's a cruelty free product, free of parabens, sulphates etc....a nice plastic pump bottle, 50mills, attractive package.

Well yes does smell like apples and to me reminds me of Granny Smith apples. A nice mid range lotion not buttery or runny, with a slight tint of green, it's easy to apply a couple of squirts of the pump and rub in gently of course. A little bit goes a long way. It doesn't go white like a sunblock can, I find it does dry ever so slightly tacky on me, but does not leave a greasy look, it does tend to sit on top of my skin so I do have to rub it in, it is moisturising and makes a lovely base to go ahead and apply BB, foundation or whatever you like do do next. For a light weight lotion it does moisturise and is lovely to use, Has not caused any redness or irritation at all it's a very nice moisturiser. I haven't found it's made my skin any brighter or evened out my skin tone. Price wise I feel it's value for money as it does last and does a good job.

My skin's Oasis

A month ago I finally took a bite out of Apple A Day after hearing so many good things about it.

To be honest I wasn't expecting a lot, perhaps because I'd had a run of disappointing daytime moisturisers. This however is a good apple!

The scent isn't overpowering, but lovely and fresh. The lotion initially appears rather thick, but doesn't feel thick upon the skin and is quick to sink in. And the results? Delicious! Within two weeks my skin was looking, smoother, more even and hydrated. I didn't realise how good it was though until I switched to an old moisturiser for August's Project Pan and my skin became tight, itchy and broke out. I hurried back to Oasis' Apple A Day after that.

Having an SPF in it is always a bonus, but as it's winter I haven't discovered whether it works or not - but being a naughty sun bunny I'm sure I'll find out come summer.

The packaging is simple, the pump is easy to use and I like the way the bottom lifts the product up so you're getting all the lotion out, rather than having a good glob sitting at the bottom that you can't get too.

If you've skin on the dry side, I can't recommend this moisturiser highly enough.

Apple A Day All The Way

I have very fair sensitive skin prone to being on the dry side with eczema and breaking out with some products particularly heavy products. A lightweight moisturiser that I applied morning and night after removing my make up (or first thing in the morning) after cleansing my face. It glides on smoothly and nicely, absorbed quickly & wasn’t to heavy or greasy which was great. This moisturiser has a wonderful fresh apple fruity smell but not to sickly or overbearing. My foundation has SPF in it aswell so I didn’t really get to test out the SPF side of it but fabulous that this has an SPF25 in it for those weekends you don’t want to have to put a face on !. It definitely brightened my skin up , it was feeling a bit sad and dull over these winter months thanks to air conditioning in the office and then blasting my heater on the way home in the car !! . This is one of my favourite product finds thanks to seeing it here on the Beauty Review site (well actually the Oasis brand)!. Probably a little on the higher end for moisturisers but I think it is definitely worth it for the benefits. I would definitely encourage my friends to try this.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away

I received this product as a sample from Oasis after I had seen the amazing review on BR. Firstly, the service from Oasis is impeccable, they get in touch promptly and I received the samples two days later and thats rural delivery as well.

The product is scented, and I can see everyone says it smells just like fresh apple, although I really enjoyed the smell of this product, I did not really smell the crisp apple smell I was expecting, however it still smelt good. The product is a thick consistency, and I assumed it would be quite greasy and leave a residue. However, the result was the exact opposite. Yes the product was thick, but the formula was light-weight and it absorbs easily into my skin. Additionally, the results of this product are long-lasting, in winter I have dry patches on my skin, and after three days of using this product those dry spots disappeared completely. I was really impressed. Perhaps the aspect I love most about this product is its SPF, but it does not leave a greasy residue. That makes it a winner in my book. The only downside to this product is the price, and my student budget just cannot afford to purchase a full size product right now. However, when I get some money, this will be the first thing I buy! I recommend this product to everyone, and since oasis provides samples, you can try it before you buy it, so you have nothing to lose 

My skins Vit C

I purchased this about two weeks ago from a health shop for $32. It has a lightweight feel to it and absorbs into the skin very quickly without residues. Has a slight apple smell and a non whitening SPF of 25. The pump action allows you to use the right amount although I pump two or three times to get the amount I personally want. It is an organic product and it is proudly NZ made. It is anti ageing cream and you can wear it under your BB cream or foundation. My sensitive, normal to dry skin seems to like this moisturiser which I have been using now for the two weeks since I bought it. I absolutely like the way my skin responds to this cream so much so that I went out and purchased the "Oasis Knock Out", anti bacterial moisturiser for my pimply 16yr old. I'm thinking of purchasing their night cream next. This bottle will last me for another month or so yet.

Tips: If you think Oasis charges too much for the moisturiser on their website, then checkout the health shops prices in search of a better bargain. Oasis (via the website) will send out a maximum of three samples for you to try for free...so useful. Give them a go.

Definitely get the $5 one if you get a chance- they sell it this cheap as the product is not at its optimum formula in terms of fragrance, colour, consistency. So worth it!

Apple a Day

I have been using the Oasis beauty range line from around October last year when I was on a hunt for a new face care regime. I stumbled on this product by chance and it has been amazing! I will not be turning back from this.

The smell is amazing, I have received numerous remarks from friends who are incredibly envious of this products smell and overall results.

I love the fact that it includes spf. I wear this everyday during rain and especially during shine. It soaks in great and creates a smooth base for any further make up.

The pump action means that you get the amount that you need. I only need one pump and it coats my entire face. I think the price is quite respectable, it lasts for quite a while (a couple of months at least). I always order online and get the free postage. Quick and easy delivery.

I have already recommended to some friends and would continue to do so.

Apple a Day keeps the bad skin away!

Say goodbye to dry tight skin :) I really like this moisturizer from Oasis Beauty. It hydrates my skin and locks in the moisture. It is worth the price and the best thing is that is NZ made and organic! Try this moisturizer and see how it can benefit your skin.

I have been using this moisturizer for over 2 weeks now, I only use it in the morning after I have cleansed my face. My skin has dramatically improved since using this skincare range. After I cleanse my face it feels dry an tight and once I apply this moisturizer my skin becomes hydrated and it doesn't feel tight anymore. It makes my face feel comfortable and confident to start the day. Even though its a bit pricey for a moisturizer its well worth it and it smells divine too (just like all other Oasis Beauty products). I will continue to use this as It benefits my skin in more ways than any other moisturizer has done before. I feel that it also lighten and brightens my face. I'm always left with glowing, healthy looking skin. I love how it has SPF25 in it along with Vitamins A, C & E. A little product goes a long way as with most of this skincare range. Good value for money and I have recommended this to all my friends :)

Tips: A little goes a long way, If you would like to try this out before purchasing the full size product, head over to their site to request a sample :)

My skin loves it!

I use this product every morning as part of my skincare routine, and I find it to be a fantastic spf moisturiser. It doesnt stay looking white on my face and my skin drinks it up. It smells yummy like apples. I do find it ever so slightly greasy although it doesnt look greasy on my skin. I have quite dry skin after about an hour my skin will feel less greasy so my skin does soak it up. The packaging is cute and easy to handle.

Tips: A little goes a long way you dont need too much of this product to cover your whole face.
