Thayers Cucumber Alcohol-Free Toner with Witch Hazel Aloe Vera

I have not used a toner since I got given a bottle as a young teen and never used one since. I just never saw the point in one. But when I saw this in the vault and curiosity had me reading the good reviews I decided I would try it out .. and I'm so glad I did! I used it with my normal routine and my skin felt softer and more hydrated which lasted all day and then on top my skin looks more even and less red!! I'm very happy with these improvements and plan to repurchase this asap when this bottle runs out.... which with the size of it I don't think is going to happen in a hurry. I'm also a fan of how it has natural ingredients. When I apply it it gives my face a fresh and cleaner feeling which I enjoy. The only negative which isn't a big deal to me is that I'm not too crazy about the scent of this. But it's not a deal breaker and the scent quickly fades away after application and topping with a moisterizer. Plus there's different scents I can try next and even an unscented one.

This was a pleasure to trail. It was refreshing, made my skin feel clean without drying and wasn’t to harsh. The smell was subtle but lovely and I enjoyed using it as a toner or just a pick me up during the day. The packaging was nice and modern with the matte lid. Personally I think it takes a significant time to see a usable difference in your skin. But I certainly would recommend and try other flavours in the future.

I used this each time after washing my face and applied it with a cotton ball. I found this also helped with removing any makeup that was not removed previously.

I was definitely excited to give this product a go. I remember the original witch Hazel toner being a must have about 10 years ago (although it’s been around longer than that). First of all it really smells like cucumber fresh out of the fridge. I lovely refreshing smell that compliments the fresh feeling it gives after you use it. It’s a generous sized bottle with a flip top lid and a very small hole to squeeze the product from which is great to avoid using too much and absolutely perfect for putting on the tip of a cotton bud to quickly wipe away that wonky winged eyeliner or any misplaced mascara etc. Having gotten used to micellar water for cleansing this definitely feels a lot different on the skin. Initially after application my face flushes a little red which is normal for me but it does seem to have a calming effect on my skin. I can 100% confirm it’s hydrating but not in an oily type of way. It almost seems to hydrate while reducing oiliness. I normally need to quickly apply moisturiser to my face after any type of cleansing or my skin starts drying out so I applied this after cleansing and left my skin and it didn’t dry out like it would normally. It made my skin feel calmer and look less red I felt but I’m not too sure about glowing. I didn’t feel like it removed a lot of makeup but I usually would remove makeup with oil cleanser anyway so it’s not a deal breaker for me. I also wouldn’t recommend applying too nearer the eyes I found it a bit tingly and burny for my liking. But it worked well to spot remove one of my wonky eyeliner wings and some mascara spots on my lids with a cotton bud. Overall I enjoyed using this product it seemed to work well as a refreshing toner with mild cleansing products. Definitely recommend it to others and I feel like it would be great for those with slightly oilier skin than myself.

This is not the first time using Thayers Witch Hazel Toner, and will not be the last time. I love this product!

I received the Cucumber Version (fist time trying this flavor) The Cucumber smell smells fresh and genuine, not artificial.

I use this when I have just got out of the shower on a damp face. Leaves me feeling so fresh, clean and surprisingly moisturized. I find I don't have to use a moisturizer (although I usually do follow up after application). I find it takes the redness away from my face and acts as a perfect base prior to make up application.

I also use this on my deodorant crystal stick. My underarms stay sweat, smell free and smooth.

I love this multi use product and would recommend everyone try it!

I have been using this toner for a couple of weeks, and WOW what a difference it has made in my skin! I didn't think a toner could be this good, but my skin is softer, smoother, more even, and just healthier in general. I apply this toner to my face with a cotton pad after cleansing, and my skin instantly feels refreshed and hydrated. The cucumber scent is pleasant and not at all overpowering. I am a fan of this product and my skin loves it. I will repurchase forever!

Oh, this is a definite winner! I never bothered with a toner before but that was a mistake. This toner makes such a difference! It immediately showed results as my skin appeared much smoother, brighter and even tighter after the first application. My pores are noticeably smaller and my face feels so fresh! I stopped using it for a day and noticed it. The cucumber didn't smell as nice as I imagined but that's ok as it doesn't linger. I love the look of the label, it's different. The cap looks a bit cheap but that is fine as it does the job and the price is low. The bottle is strong and the lid is secure and won't leak. It's a big bottle so should last a long time. I like that the tip is small as the toner is runny like water. It does sting my face a bit whenever applying but the feeling goes away quickly. It makes my skin very sticky but that also goes away as soon as I apply my moisturizer. You don't need to use it a lot as it spreads easily. The price appears to be in the same range as other toners at the department store. I can't compare it to other brands as I haven't tried any before but I have to mention that I won't be either as I love the Thayers Toner! I would recommend this to a friend as it does what it claims and surpassed my expectations.

Smells strongly of cucumber but not too overpowered, and the scent goes away after a few minutes on the skin. I like that it has witch hazel.

I like to use cotton pads and I'm always so surprised at all the stuff I still managed to wipe off with the toner after a face wash. The toner is very moisturising and has a soothing affect, not astringent at all, but also doesn't feel like it leaves an uncomfortable slick layer on the skin.

Refreshing.
