Trilogy Mattifying Moisturising Lotion

This is perfect if you want something light for under makeup and keeps your skin moisturised. There is a light fragrance to this but I really liked the smell, very fresh and clean. This didn’t break me out but it also helps to know that the witch hazel would help with any breakouts that I had. Overall it seems like a great basic to have a hand for your skin.

I'm always a bit dubious about mattifying moisturisers - they can run the risk of being more drying and less hydrating I've found.

This one, is just divine. It's a luxury rich lotion but not heavy or thick. It's almost the perfect lotion consistency. It applies well to the skin, spreads evenly and soaks into the skin.

The squeezy tube is easy to use and has the classic Trilogy look to it. I much prefer tubes to pots!

I'd highly recommend to anyone with skin like mine, that needs a bit of balancing along with a good dollop of hydration!

I have slightly oily areas, notably my chin and nose, the rest of my skin is I guess fairly normal? The problem I encounter with products tailored for oily skin is that they tend to strip back my normal areas and take them into the dry zone.

This mattifying moisturiser does what it says! It keeps skin moisturised but keeps oil away. It doesn't leave skin shiny either which I loved and is a lovely base for makeup.

I love this range from Trilogy - I love the packaging, I think the price is fair and I will definitely be looking to repurchase.

Again, Trilogy excels in this lovely mattifying moisturising lotion. I found it to be much creamier than most lotions I have tried which suits me fine as normally I avoid "lotions". It has a light fragrance which isn't overly perfumed although i couldn't quite pick up the lemon myrtle notes. It left my skin feeling nourished and non greasy and not shiny at all. At $49 for 50ml, it is a little pricey and doesn't have a spf in it so I would probably only use this before bed.

This moisturising lotion is a nice treat for the face. It definitely took the shine off my skin without making it look dull. Its very light going on and absorbs quickly and smells refreshing. Didn't do much for the fine lines and wrinkles but my skin certainly feels lovely when using it. I used BB cream over the top and I think the BB cream stayed on my skin a lot better when using the pair together. I would happily continue using this moisturiser.

Trilogy Mattifying Moisturising Lotion is a thin lightweight lotion for combination and oilier skin types.

This lotion has a very subtle and refreshing scent.

I found it perfect in the morning to help eliminate excess shine and give a more matte base under my BB cream that I wear daily.

Although it mattifies your skin it does not make it look dull at all. And it does help moisturise and soften your skin without feeling heavy.

I love that this product is made with certified natural and vegan friendly ingredients. So you feel confident in the quality and ethics of the company and that they truely care about the customers.

Overall I love this moisturiser and will continue to use it as my morning moisturiser.

Got this in a Xmas BBBE box. Have been waiting ages to use it. Packaging is a rather simple white tube with silver bottom. Does have a slight scent.

Easily moisturises and keeps shinyness at bay. Although I have only used this in the winter months so can't attest to how well it works in warmer weather.

I really like and enjoy using this. The only thing that could make it better would be spf protection. I like to have sof in my day moisturisers.

In saying that, there are other, more affordable moisturisers that do a similar quality job. I don't think I will be repurchasing even though I like this product. Mostly just from a price point angle. Though would reconsider if it was on sale.
