Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes Review

Great size for travelling, or keeping in the car as a refreashing towelettes. It takes some effort to remove waterproof mascara and/or thick foundation or heavy makeup. I use it to cut through the war paint and then use a dedicated eye make up remover to combat the mascara remnants.

These are pretty standard wipes which are a bit more expensive than normal. However, what makes them worth it for me (at least when on sale) is that they're good on my sensitive skin. Using these wipes didn't dry out my face as much as others brands have, however still needed a bit of moisturizer a little while after. They have a light scent which is pleasant.

It left my face feeling clean and refreshed. The wipes cleaned off all my makeup in a jiffy! It didn't remove my waterproof mascara. It removed all other mascaras I had. I used the wipes just before bed, with a soft scrub and night moisturiser. For the past few days (every day I've used my wipes) I have woken up the next morning with breakouts. My face is quite covered in breakouts now. This is the only thing I have changed in my skin regime. I haven't broken out like this since high school which would have been a number of years ago. Not sure if it's the product but I think it's worth mentioning. Apart from this one thing, which I'm not sure if the wipes, I absolutely love the application of the product as its a quick fast removal that leaves my skin feeling great!! It's great for a quick fix before bed when you're tired and you don't have a lot of time to make sure your face is clean. Not sure if I'll continue to use them due to all the breakouts. I might give it a few days break and give it a go a again. My skin doesn't feel dried out, it actually feels quite moisturised. Good price and quite a few wipes inside.

I had previously never used these facial wipes before, but have used other "Simple" brand skin products and have been a big fan.

Its nice light green packaging, not too bulky with nice easy to read writing on, I like the packaging. It has a nice pull tab to gain access to the wipes which does close well to keep in the moisture and freshness.

These wipes have no artificial perfumes or colour so ideal for sensitive skin.

They have a claim on the packet to remove waterproof mascara!! big claim to make. and that it has an aqualock system to keep every wipe fresh and even softer.

Now to my experience, I have combo skin, that can be a bit more prone to being sensitive now that I am older. Oily T zone but can have some extremely dry and flaky patches over my cheeks.

I found that these wipes did irritate my dry patches ever so slightly. The cloth itself feels nice and soft and moist and nice on the skin unless you have to rub. there is no strong smell

I found these took face makeup off quite well but I am dubious about the claims for removing waterproof mascara, as unfortunately I had run out of waterproof stuff so was using my current Holy Grail, Urban Decay perversion.

It took a good amount of it off but without excessive scrubbing I could not seem to get the wipes to take all of my mascara off, When I thought I had won, I would wake up with panda eyes. Have to use multiple wipes to take a full face of makeup off.

I actually preferred to use these in the morning as a quick refresher instead of fully cleansing in the morning. I did also like them for taking light makeup off before going in with my proper cleanser.

So all in all I think these are a lovely cleansing wipe and I would continue to use- would they be my first choice, I am not sure as I defineitly had to use other products to remove mascara that was not waterproof, I would have them on hand for lazy days and those days that I want a light refresh in the morning.

These are good for sensitive skin, however I find other wipes work better for removing make up. I recommend them if you are struggling to find wipes that don't affect your skin, however if there are others that work well with your skin stick to them.

These facial wipes were ok. They did remove my waterproof mascara easily but I found the wipe quite rough feeling on my skin and my face felt a bit tender afterwards. It also took a bit of effort to remove foundation with them. I liked that they are fragrance free and they were handy to take away with me over the weekend.

These wipe are great in that they do cleanse the skin and remove make up - even water proof mascara without leaving an oily residue. However it wasn't as quick as I anticipated and took a good few atempts to get all the mascara off. I also found them more abrasive than other brands I have used. I do like the fact that they do not have unnecessary ingredients but use natural ingredients instead.

Firstly I was pleasantly surprised to be reviewing these cleansing facial wipes as I admit I can be a bit slack at washing off my makeup at night. So this was a good product for me to review. I followed the instructions on the pack, wiping over the eyelids, face and neck. It was amazing to see the amount of makeup on the wipe afterwards (much to my horror), the wipes had done the job of removing my makeup every time I had used them. My skin felt fresh and clean. One problem I have found using the wipes is that the fabric felt a bit scratchy on the gentle skin around my eyelids so I had to be careful using them in this area. I love that Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes contain natural ingredients as this has become an important factor to me when selecting beauty products.
