I thoroughly enjoy using this foundation because it gives me a natural glow, a subtle shine and a medium coverage which is exactly what I wanted from this revlon colorstay.
Tips: Use primer before applying. Use a foundation brush to apply.
I love this foundation, it can be built to be full coverage, and doesn't look flaky. I apply it using a Real Techniques beauty blender and it looks soft and dewy.
What can i say? Its perfect coverage. Good price. And matches my skin perfectly. 100% recommend and havent stopped using this since i tried it 2 years ago.
Tips: Give it a go if you havent already!
Finally a foundation that does what it says it will! Can wear it thin or add more to go out at night/dinner etc. Such a lovely product to wear, feels light and fresh without rubbing off.
I Use this for everyday and evening coverage, it has always been my favourite and the colour sand beige fits me perfectly. I Apply it with a brush and use circular motions to blend it in. Would buy again and again as it stays on all day. Only downside is if it accidentally gets on your clothes it is hard to get out. Still a 5/5 for me.
Tips: Use a BB cream base for an even fuller coverage.
If you are looking for foundation that lasts all day, then this is the product for you! Foundation goes on smoothly and truly does last all day. It comes in a wide range of shades and has a light SPF factor to keep you protected from the sun. You need to work quickly with this foundation as it does set fast. I would defiantly recommend this product.
Tips: Set you foundation with Colorstay pressed powder to help it last even longer. It also gives your foundation a matte finish and a smooth foundation for the rest of your makeup.
This foundation is great coverage wise (medium I would say) and it is quite build-able which I like. It goes on smoothly and as long as it is buffed in well doesn't look cakey and super unnatural. It also has great staying power, looking great throughout the day like it claims too. I think it is pretty good value for money (especially if you can get it on sale) and a great staple foundation to have in your makeup bag :)
Tips: Buff it in well and as quickly as possible as it sets quickly and if not buffed well looks like it is sitting on the skin.
I am in love with this stuff. I recently discovered my skin has switched from being oily/combo to being fairly normal with the odd breakout. So Iv started using this and its fantastic. It has a medium coverage that's easily buildable to a full coverage. It spreads and buffs easily (I use my real techniques buffing brush). Colorstay has a broad range of shades, including my PERFECT match. This is now my favourite go-to foundation and I have already re-purchased for when I run out.
I love Revlon Colourstay for Normal/Dry skin.
I love the shade selection as I can always find my perfect shade no matter what time of year it is which always has an effect on what shade I need to get.
I use it with my QVS Egg shaped blender and it applies beauitfully.
It isnt as lightweight as it claims to be but with full coverage foundations I dont expect it to feel like Im not wearing anything. And it is full coverage and lasts the entire day so I dont have to touch up.
I never set this with powder as my face is dry enough as it is. I don't use a primer(I "prime" with moisturizer).
I would recommend this
Tips: Another foundation that is comparable to revlon colourstay but in my opinion even better is Australis Stayput foundation, the only downside is the limited shade selection which is the ONLY reason I dont use it all the time
