Revlon ColorStay Foundation - Normal/Dry Skin Review

It is buildable, with all day wear. I do feel it's a challenge to get your colour match as not always are there testers in store or makeup experts to help with this. I waited till I found a makeup therapist to match me, which I was thankful I did as getting the right colour is what makes all foundations have the right look, and true representation of the effect of the foundation. I have normal skin, which the Revlon liquid is my preferable go to. With all said I do prefer my maxfactor 3 n 1 foundation more as I like the finished result better.

I purchase the colourstay in normal/dry sand beige 180 tint. This is my go to ever since they changed the formula of the photoready foundation. It’s a light formulation which is fantastic for everyday. Applying a second layer gives you more coverage for evening wear. I apply using my fingers as I find it easier to make sure I get it everywhere. No smell as far as I can tell. And it doesn’t make my face oily. I’d like it to last a bit more throughout the day though. Great for the price.

I bought this by accident as I was meant to buy the combination/oily it was just the same but I needed to touch up with powder during the day, and it's slightly heavier and more matte for some reason. The colours blend really well, I always go a shade lighter in these colorstay foundations to blend into the jaw, or it leaves marks. It lasts the distance and would be great for dry skin that doesn't get oily like mine. I don't recommend touching up this foundation with more foundation after it sets as it seems to flake off or go very cakey.

I love this foundation. Great coverage. It lasts all day and It does what it says it does. I wear this daily.

I bought this for the first time a few weeks ago from www.kissandmakeup.co.nz as it was on sale (and I love that they use compostable packaging). I bought 250 Fresh beige. I have dry to sensitive skin and I was immediately impressed. You only need half a pump (I don't use a blending sponge as I find it wastes the product), and it blended nicely into my skin and still had full coverage at the end of the day. (My usual brand tended dry during the day so I'd need to have concealer with me). if you want full coverage without feeling heavy I truly recommend this product. I now understand why this is one of the best foundations on the market.

This foundation is beautiful and very affordable. It is very easy to apply with a liquid foundation brush and gives a beautiful even complexion with amazing coverage. I only wear this foundation for special occasions as it makes me break out! I don't have sensitive skin either. After this happening I did some research and found this is a common occurrence from this foundation :( Would be a 10/10 if it wasn't so harsh on my skin.

Recently I changed foundations, I knew what I wanted; a foundation that provided good coverage, lasted all day and was mid price range. I am really pleased with my choice. The price wasnt too bad , probably more in the mid range, and if you can get it when it is on sale - even better. The person who sold it to me, recommended buying a good sponge and I have been applying with a sponge and goes on amazing! feels really nice and has good coverage. Is everything I was looking for!

I use this foundation when I want a lasting full coverage look that lasts all day without breaking the bank! Easy to apply and easy to build.
