this powder is nice but it doesnt last long at all , its not that great when you want something that lasts and you dont have to keep re applying, there is definitely better out there for this price.

The creamy natural shade I bought was far, far too light for what I thought was my pretty light skin. It really does look powdery on the skin and never seems to settle right. I also really don't like the texture of the puff that comes with it, I prefer the powders that come with a sponge instead. I also found it didn't provide much coverage and gathered in areas and looked patchy. Only upside is the compact has a mirror in it
This claims to be fragrance free, but sadly smells very heavily of talcum powder. If that is irritating for you, then definitely avoid this!
Other than smelling like Grandmas and babies, the product is actually really good as a sheer setting powder. I use a kabuki brush to lightly dust my face after applying foundation, and it definitely helps it last.
Tips: It comes with a small powder puff which works just as well as a powder brush.
This product has quite a powdery smell and feel. The smell is almost like baby powder, which isn't horrible but interesting that it claims to be "fragrance free"". The feel of the powder is also quite powdery, which i guess is great for oil control, but looks like powdery and thick on the skin. But in saying that, nothing that a bit of setting spray cannot fix. I found that it sat pretty well on my skin and didn't sink into any creases either.
Seeing this just gave me such a gorgeous flashback to being a teen. This stuff is fresh and effective. I don't really use powder any more at my age but I think this is perfect for someone young.
The colour is lighter than I expected. For me this is a plus as I often struggle to find light enough shades. However, if you're not as pale as a vampire you might not consider this a plus. Perhaps go a shade darker than you normally would?
I've found that it's easy to accidentally apply too much powder so be careful. It's lasted me a looong time and I suspect that's because I have to use so little during each application.
The puff it comes with is utterly useless. I use my own powder brush and highly suggest you do too.
I love that it's fragrance free, it has no smell.
Overall it's pretty good, gets the job done.
This was ok gave a flawless finish but I did notice it doesn't last as long as other powders. I do still have it in my make up collection but I tend to use it when I have a shorter day/night ahead of me.
I like most Cover Girl foundation and finishing products due to their covering effects. I used the oil control version of this compact with the foundation. However the foundation was so good that I did not use the powder that much. Personally I prefer the natural look so I try to avoid "cakey" make-up. This powder in the oil control version works fine with oily part of my skin. However, as mine is combination/oily, it does not work that well on the dry parts of the face, especially during winter. Overall, this powder is convenient and efficient and does not harm your beauty budget.
Im not usually a fan of covergirl products but was able to pick this up really cheap so I gave it a go.
The packaging was really simple and sturdy so I didnt have too much worry if I accidentally dropped it, I wasnt much of a fan with the packaging being green but who cares.
The powder itself was really easy to use with very minimal fall out which was great. I didnt find the powder to be cakey either which was great. It went on nicely after a liquid foundation, I used the transparent color just as a setting powder for my foundation and it seemed to stay put all day. I didnt use the little powder puff sponge that came with it just because id rather use a brush but it seemed to be a nice little puff.
Overall, great product for the price, the compact is sturdy which is always good. Not the prettiest thing in my makeup stash but when a product is good its not always about how it looks. Would recommend to someone starting out with a pressed powder as it doesn't hurt the budget if they end up not liking it.
My drug store ran out of nyx stay matte powder so since this product was raved about on YouTube I bought it. Im a tan like color but not orangey tan so I picked up a color similar to the nyx one and it turned up orange-red on my face made me look like I had rashes.
Tips: However I used it up since it made a wonderful blush color.
