I have never been a fan of these type of body sprays, they all seem to end up smelling the same & kind of remind me of toilet deoderisers.. you know the old block type that used to be in all the public toilets. I was struggling with my teenager as she wants to use them because all her school mates have them in their bags.Frankly I can not stand how they seem to bath in the stuff creating air so thick with the sickly scent it's head ache inducing. Lucky for us we managed to agree on a compromise & she has a rexona spray. with a more petite scent that keeps her fresh & dry .

Tips: I suppose they are ok for a younger person but go easy they are a bit over powering
I found that this product is not the best i have used but for its price i guess its good but not something i would recommend to friends though
When I was younger, there was always a battle between Cool Charm and Impulse and, at the time, there was not much different. Cool Charm has lost it's edge big time. The scent does not last long at all and the smell just make me think 'Bordello'
Nice fragrances but they don't last. I find that I have to keep spraying or they are lost. They are fine for fun but not a serious fragrance.
Coolcharm used to make some much better scents than these modern editions - cannot remember the name but one of my faves of the 90s was in a black can and was a lovely musky floral scent. These modern formulation just smells like alcohol, a blast of sugary synthetic candy/floral notes and then disappears - not as offensive as they used to be like the 90s when these were all the rage in PE class. I have the tokyo bloom one (purple can) it is mild and inoffensive and I just use it round home instead of perfume when I am doing domestic chores/gardening etc - good for summer. The worst one for me is the green one, it irritates my sinuses no end. One plus for this product is it doesnt seem to upset my skin/make me itchy like impulse does.
Tips: Good for lazy days round the house when you don't want to waste your expensive perfumes. Doesnt smell particularly amazing or strong though. Good for freshening up but that's it.
While I used to be totally devoted to a different brand of body spray, I have converted to Cool charm simply because the other brand doesn't make the fragrances I loved anymore. I LIKE the gold one, I wouldn't buy it again. It's nice but I wouldn't choose it over either of the Pink ones. It does go on rather nicely, a nice thin steady stream of mist. It lasts a good four hours if you don't do anything strenuous. A good range of fragrances, most aren't really to my liking but they are all cheap and good value for money
not so much a protector, more a less a make me smell good , it works a little but not a lot for me, its ok though
As an adult I graduated to perfume, but my teenage years were all about Cool Charm. It's good for a quick spruce up during a busy day (where you don't want to put on an expensive perfume), but a little mean on ultra sensitive skin.
I purchased this body spray when I was in high school, so some years ago now. I didnt have a job so it was great that i could afford this spray especially with going to school and having p.e as a subject it helped me stay cool and fresh. I love the scent of the watermelon spray (red bottle) bc of the sweet smell it had. The bottle itself is I think the right size and very light so it was easy to carry around in my bag. I havent purchased this spray since being in high school because I have now moved onto using perfumes. I do however buy this for my sister who is still in high school. the price is good and affordable. This was my signature smell in high school so i feel as though its better for teenage girls.
Gosh, Cool Charm and Impulse were the female version of Lynx in the 90’s. My friends and I would all get a different flavour and swap smells. My favourite was a musky one (I can’t remember it’s name) I think it was in a yellow/light brown can. They were so overpowering, my mum wouldn’t let us spray it in the house, she’d call it our shower in a can. We didn’t realise it wasn’t an anti-perspirant and we didn’t care as they “smelled so good”. After having a teenage boy myself, with his friends spraying Lynx, I can totally understand why she hated it. It’s so overwhelming and you actually begin to TASTE it. YUCK. I’m glad I now buy perfume where a little goes a long way.
Tips: Don’t use this in a small space as it’s very strong. Good for tweens and teens, but ensure they know it’s not an antiperspirant and only “masks” smells
