OPI Nail Lacquer Review

Excellent product, glides on easily,brush is easy to use, the colour payout is excellent,its so glamorous! Feel like a star!

I was so excited to recieve this colour, The polish when applied with two coats is true to colour when viewing through the bottle. I really love this as it really suits any outfit and looks amazing for the autumn/winter months. After applying one coat it was quite an transparent more glittery colour, after applying a second coat it became more opaque and metallicy looking, Two coats were enough for me to get the perfect finish. I find that it doesnt take very long to dry to a hard finish compared to other polishes where it can slide around the nail within an hour if your not careful. It really looks like sand! The sheen under light fluctuates between matte, metallicy and sparklyjust like real sand! and the texture is very different to other polishes ive had, but isnt a bad thing either,good for hiding any imperfections in your application so you cant do any wrong! Lives up to its name; Give it a go, you wont be disappointed xx

This was the first time that I had the opportunity to try an OPI nail polish and I loved the results. It went on for a smooth and flawless finish, was quick drying and was a beautiful colour. Also I didn't have any problems with it chipping quickly either, which is a problem I usually have with nail polishes. I loved the liquid sand texture of this nail polish, it felt a little rough but I enjoyed the textured feel of it. I recommend anyone to try this nail polish as it is great quality and the fact it dries quickly makes it even more worth it.

I was SO excited when i received my invite to try this product! As a training nail technician i am obviously obsessed with NAIL POLISH! I really loved its beautiful colour, with the added spakle. LOVE & ADORE this product... need I say more? :)

When OPI's Im All Ears arrived from the Minnie Mouse collection I was rather surprised by the maturity and dept of colour with the glitter giving it a youthful glow.

Upon application the layers where very thin so I applied a few coats to get a striking finish. Three coats and I have the perfect finish.

This polish was versatile easily going from day to night and I really liked the effect it had in the light.

So I opened the package and saw that the nail varnish is a different colour to what it looks like on the photo! It's better! Magenta colour with lots of sparkles it gave my nails a kind of iridescent glossy look. Never used OPI before so wanted to see how it compared to other nail varnishes, I found it quite runny on first coat the varnish would separate to the side of my nails so had to use a good three coats to get the exact look, two coats the colour was lovely but three the colour as darker but spot on very glossy looking with just the right amount of sparkle!! As a mum of three my nails do go through a lot so I got slight chipping on day 4. I wouldn't use this as an every day nail varnish more for special occasions or nights out or on holiday! Oh and in photos my nails looked amazing! Definitely great value for money and when removed no stained nails like i get with my cheapy nail polishes!! You get what you pay for! :-D Lots of compliments on my nails people saying oooh i'd actually buy that! I didnt need to use my normal base coat or top coat as didn't stain nails and took four days to slightly chip!

The nail polishes are just devine, they are smooth and go on so nicely, there is no glugging around the neck of the bottle, the only issues I have is the cost, although I do believe compared to other products the price is acceptable, I am just on a very low budget, would buy a lot more if I could afford them.

I found that it went on beautifully, there was no blobs or streaks it was nice and smooth. There was no strong smell that you can get with some brands of polish which was nice. The polish was touch dry withing 30 seconds, and completely dry in 5 mins. The colour was surprising to me. I expected a really dark deep plum, but found that it has an almost metalic sheen to it, and is quite a bright shade depending on the light. This colour is perfect for brightening up a dull winter day, and will go with most colours in your wardrobe. I applied it on Sat, and after lots of dishes, looking after a baby, loads of washing folding, sorting out fire wood and other jobs that aren't the best for nail polish, it took untill this morning (monday) to get a couple of small chips on three nails....that is without a clear top coat. All in all pretty impressed.

I adore plum for nails and lips at the moment, cant get enough. This nail polish, like all OPI nail polishes went on like a dream, all in all it is a great product and OPI Plugged in Plum is my new obsession at the moment!
