I brought the Eye Shadow Trio in the 03 Rose Shade - the colors are gorgeous. The packaging is beautiful and sturdy. The amount of product and the size of the packaging is excellent. However, the reason for my poor rating is that the color payoff of these eye shadows is so disappointing. I have to apply each color at least three times and it is still very subtle. Such a shame, it had a lot going for it.

I got this in a set on sale mainly because it came with the mascara, but liked it more than I thought I would. The small size and the included brush makes it perfect for travel. For the light shade you do really need to layer it to get the colour payoff and if you try do this in a rush it can be a bit messy. The colour payoff with the dark shades is great though. I love that I can use the darkest shade with the angled side of the brush as a brown eyeliner. The pink doesn't work too well for me as an everyday colour (I have the set in the picture) but I would consider trying a set in different colours because it is just so handy for makeup on the go.
