I’ve bought a bunch of Nivea face creams to try out as I go through face creams rather fast, so wanted to throw some affordable options into my routine. This one surprised me a lot as it’s thick, hydrating but not too heavy for the night. I wasn’t expecting this to be so good as I could smell some alcohol in this when first opened it, not sure what exactly, but wasn’t very pleasant at all. This disappeared though after a few uses or I’ve gotten used to it!? I love how it doesn’t break me out, even when I put on lots and drown my face in it(I do it when I feel my skin is getting drier). This cream is so good after some chemical exfoliations like glycolic acids etc, since using this I don’t get any dry patches or peeling skin anymore at all. Surprised to say I might be repurchasing this one after all!

The creme feels nice on your fingers when you scoop it up. The moment I put it on my face it was heavy and greasy and not what I want for a night creme. (I dont like leaving grease on my pillowcase). I started out probably using too much so i put smaller and smaller amounts on my face, with the same results. I also found if I didn't wash it off first thing, I'd start breaking out by lunchtime. I personally need something that won't affect me like this. I also don't like that it smells like sunblock.
