This blush was so incredible, made me look so glowy and pretty. Such a nice colour while not being too bold and out there. Suited any outfit. Love this!

Nars Orgasm Blush
The ultimate authority in blush, NARS offers the industry's most iconic shades for cheeks. Natural, healthy-looking color that immediately enlivens the complexion. A light application of even the highest-intensity hues delivers a natural-looking flush.
Silky texture in matte and shimmering shades, Micronized powder ensures soft, blendable application
Blush is the fastest and easiest way to give yourself a pick-me-up. Start by applying blush to the apples of the cheeks. Take what's left on the brush and sweep across the hairline, bridge of the nose, and the chin. Neutral-tone blushes can also be used to contour and sculpt the skin.–JAMES BOEHMER, DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL ARTISTRY
For a complexion that is oilier with more pronounced pores, apply a matte powder blush to cheeks before a shimmer blush. It will allow the shimmer to glide on cheeks more smoothly and evenly, and allow color to look fresh Smile and apply blush to the apples of the cheeks using the Yachiyo Brush. For a dimensional, contoured look, apply a shimmer blush to the apples and a matte blush to the hollows of the cheeks.–SHAYNA SHAPIRO, LEAD TRAINERll day long.–UZO, INTERNATIONAL MAKEUP STYLIST

Tips: Buy more than one :))
I recently had to say goodbye to my bronzer... it was a sad day.... they stopped making it. I then made the jump and ordered this (and Nars Laguna - it came in a duo pack) and oh... my .... god!
This is the blush when you wear everyone asks what you are wearing. They stop you and stare at your checks. I am not putting this in to be dramatic - its true!! It is worth every penny. Ok, yes it is more on the expensive side but it goes a long way and boom... you glow.
After wearing it, I was able to spot someone else wearing it at a bar on a work do last week and we both had a nars talk for ages. She too swears but it - obviously we became instant BFF's.
It is pinky peach and has a simmer through it put just enough to make your checks pop. I was shocked because I am pale and it is like it just blends into my skin, I mean it had no nasty orange hints or anything just perfect. I match it with the suggested duo to contour (I put the orgasm slightly higher to highlight and the Laguna to shape my checks so I look like I was born this way - hahaha) for night wear and feel like a kardashin (in a good check bones way.... maybe that was a bad comparison)
I also love its little black box (its matte) and mirror. There is nothing more frustrating when your blush or bronzer doesn't have a mirror. How else can you touch up your make up?
I have been wearing this for just over a week now and I find it is not only wearing well but looks brand new still - so I am hopeful that means it will go a looooonnnnggg way :)
Tips: If you still aren't convinced you even need a blush - go try it. Seriously it is amazing. This is one of those products that I now wonder how I lived without.
I had heard the rave reviews but the swatches and pictures online just don't do this blush justice. For me, the main reason this looks so amazing is because of the finely milled gold shimmer. The colour shows up peachy pink one way, but when it catches the light, the gold really shines through to the point where it looks like those duo tone nailpolishes. I absolutely love it. The blush itself did have a bit of a hard crust at the top when I first got it, but I read reviews where other people had the same issue. You just have to lightly buff that first layer off to get to the proper blush. There are many dupes these days though and I love the balm's hot mama even more than orgasm. But this is the blush that started it all, and I can see why.
This is one the most hyped up products but sadly (to probably a lot of disgust) it didn't live up to expectations. To be fair I think this is largely because I may have got a dud. It was from the sephora website by the pigmentation and colour pay-off was sub par, and not the same as my flat mates same version. Which was highly disappointing. The colour is beautiful and versatile so I'm sure a better version would live up to expectations. However, I also think there are great dupes. Such as sleek rose gold, the same but brighter and more pigmented
I have to confess, this is the first product from NARS that i've used, and I was really intrigued when it was described as a Beauty Icon.
On first glances the packaging is gorgeous. It comes in a matt black compact which looks very sleek and professional. The clasp was bit fiddly to open I thought, kind of like some of those loo's in upmarket restaurants in Auckland which are so disguised you can't even figure out where they are!
Anyhoo, open it I did. The colour block is very generous and at also has a nice size mirror which can be a downfall of many cosmetic products.
I'm not sure what colour I was expecting but when I opened it suddenly the name of it made sense. It is a gorgeous subtle but rich (can it be both??) pinky peach colour, no doubt the exact colour your checks could go at the moment of.....ahem..
The colour on your cheeks is really subtle and natural I just love it. I'm not a big blush collector only having a couple in my collection, but this one will be my go to from here on in, and I will be for sure checking out other NARS products.
Tips: Seriously peeps, next time you're in need of a new blusher check this one out first.
I was lucky enough to be chosen to be on the BR trail team for this product, and couldn’t contain my excitement when it arrived. One of the reasons why I wanted to try Orgasm was to see if the ‘so-called’ universal peachy pink tones would be flattering and natural on my neutral to cool toned, super-fair complexion. As a general rule, products marketed as being ‘universal’ don’t really apply to me as I am on one of the extremities, but I am delighted to report that Orgasm was completely compatible with my NW10 skin. Couple this with the sleek, modern packaging and the excitement of testing one of the industry icons, we were off to a good start.
Let’s start with the colour. It’s hard to be original with a description so I will keep things simple; Orgasm is a warm, peachy pink jazzed up by an abundance of gold shimmer. The gold within it creates this glorious transition between the pink and peachy tones in the product. Orgasm makes you look very healthy and glowing- kind of like you are radiating warmth and energy. The shimmers give it multidimensionality and mean that the product seems to be dynamic on the face- Orgasm continually changes and catches the light. Top marks for that.
The pigmentation and color payoff of this product lies very much in the optimum zone for blush products in the sense that it’s not dry, chalky or frustrating to build up colour, nor is it so intense that it’s hard to control. No issues with application or bendability- I find that the secret is a light hand at first, a quality angled blush brush and a smile.
For those interested in the packaging- the black rubberized compact is nicely streamlined and certainly feels sturdy to the touch. It contains a mirror which is decently sized, and the compact as a whole fits conveniently in the palm of the hand. The matte rubbery texture does attract finger marks etc. but you can’t have everything and in truth, the goodness inside is what matters more.
I think that there is room for improvement with the wear time of this product. If applied at 7.30 am the pigments start to fade on my skin by early afternoon, but what I love is that the glow remains, instead of the product disappearing altogether. All good things come to and end, but I wish that it lasted a little longer before needing to re-apply.
Nars’ Orgasm reigns supreme over the blush market and definitely deserves its iconic status. It’s easy to see why- it will provide you with a healthy, radiant glow at any time and any place.
A loveable, luxurious and luscious blush that can bring a beauty boost to any woman that wears it. Do yourself a favour and go and try some on, and if (when) you fall in love, invest and enjoy.
*Nars Blush in Orgasm gets the –Nina- tick of approval*
For those people that haven't tried or seen this product in real life - I can assure you it is hyped up for a jolly good reason! I think it's even more perfect than I imagined. I sort of thought prior to reviewing it that it's ONLY a blush therefore It surely couldn't be worth $50. Well I was wrong.
Lets start on packaging, matte black, perfect size, sleek, professional, modern. I am in love with the packaging! People compare it to elf's packaging but I don't agree! NARS is much nicer than elf's and much more luxurious!
The product itself is literally everything I ever imagined. Again, it has been compared to a number of cheaper dupes, including an elf blush, and again, they 'aint got nothin' on NARS Orgasm! It's just the perfect blush colour, a coraly red with gold shimmer. The shimmer is so subtle and it doesn't show up like a party on your face. This is something I love because it makes it more appropriate for everyday wear in my opinion.
The blush is super pigmented but when applying it doesn't look too bold on the cheeks either. It's not too subtle but not too bold. It just comes through perfectly. I own a LOT of blushes and this product ticks every box. I have definitely not used a blush as perfect as this before.
As for staying power, it stays on for an entire school teacher day - which is saying a lot because we are busy people! I've tried it on top of various foundations and it sits beautifully on each one! It is also super blend-able and looks so natural on the skin.
Overall, I would absolutely say this product IS worth the money. If this was a tester I was trialing then I'd go out and buy the real thing. It's the most perfect blush I've ever used and compared to all the dupes and other blushes I used - I can see a huge jump in quality. Usually, I have a downside to point out for each product because I like to keep my reviews 2 sided, however I cannot say a bad thing about it! Perhaps it would be better if it was bigger for the price? I don't know if it's made with unicorn tears or what but despite the fact it's worth every cent $50 is a LOT of money for a blush and perhaps that puts people off purchasing (like I was). That being said, it's definitely not small, but it's not huge either.
I'm still waiting for my orgasm?
Tips: Because of the gorgeous shimmer within the blush, I apply mine a little higher than usual. Just slightly above the apples of my cheeks then going up towards the side of my face. This can make it multipurpose because it means it can also look like a highlighter and blush in one.
That comment was made by a guy at work & as such sealed the fate of Orgasm blush for me. LOVE IT. I was incredibly lucky to be picked to review Orgasm. As this is my first trial ever, I'm quite trepidatious about reviewing such an iconic item, but let's give it a whirl.
Packaging: I'm a fan of the rubberised black casing - it looks sleek. The only down side that I've found with my Nars eyeshadows is that it picks up & shows everything if you've put it in your makeup bag. Texture: It's buttery, it's really easy to apply, I didn't find it chalky in the least. I did feel however that the gold sheen emphasised my pore size on the apples of my cheeks so I did blend it out quite a lot on the first day. For the rest of the week I used a primer under my BB cream and that seemed to make a difference. No more emphasised moon craters. Color: I love the colour, a gorgeous peachy pink with a gold sheen. I'm pretty sure that it would suit most if not all people. I found that you're able to apply a sheer layer or build it for intensity. It lasted about 7 hours on me before I noticed fading.
One thing I noted on the packaging - the first ingredient is Talc, so if you're allergic, this product is probably not going to be for you & it'd be a shame to have spent the money on something you can't use.
Repurchase?: The big question. Yes, I'll be visiting my local Mecca and be grabbing one of these once I finish it. When a guy asks you why you're glowing, I figure that's a good thing.
Thanks so much BR for the opportunity to review!!!
I was beyond excited to be chosen for this Trial team.. For years I have been lusting after this beautiful blush!
First of the packaging is gorgeous in itself.. Sleek black compact that opens easily and closes securely shut (there is nothing worse than compacts that are loose and don't really close!)
Gorgeous decent sized mirror.. I have this thing for using mirrors of blush compacts when I apply my mascara so I can get a good underneath view.. So this mirror scores highly!
The blush itself is gorgeous.. I genuinely believe this would suit almost all skin tones. I am quite fair and when I first opened it I worried that it might appear quite orangey on me but boy was I wrong.. This came out the most gorgeous peach/champagne... slightly bronze and was VERY complimentary to my skin tone. This blush is beautiful to apply.. No nasty cakey-ness, easily blendable and easily buildable.. And my fave part of this blush, the subtle complexion enhancing shimmer (not glitter!) that gives you the most RADIANT glow.. And if you know anything about me from my Reviews its that I love glow!
This gorgeous blush is totally worth the hype and I am oh so in love <3
Tips: If you are fair and worried that this might be a bit too dark and orangey for you.. Think again.. This is GORGEOUS and can be built up to your desired level of blush <3
This review is for the Dolce Vita shade. Tanned girls! This is for you! If you're someone who has tanned/olive/medium skin that finds it hard for blushes to show up on your cheek then this shade is for you! Its like a burnt pink slight red mauve-y colour . Google a swatch! It's a beautiful matte shade.
It is so true to colour that what you see in the pan is what you get on your cheeks but it depends on how heavy or how light your application is. Too heavy may cause it to be a bit too much.
The formula of nars blushes is wonderful. Not powdery at all. Not chalky. And applies beautifully. And it is also super blend able so if you think you've applied too much then just use a clean blush brush or a large duo fiber brush to blend all your cheek products together.
The packaging is beautiful as well. Even though nars packaging is simple, it still has a feel of sophistication. Although it does get dirty easily. The blush itself is small but you really only need one swipe, tap off the excess and apply so it could last you a decent amount of time.
Its really worth the investment. Even though this shade is my first, it definitely won't be my last!
Tips: After you've finished your cheek application (contour, blush and highlight), use a large duo fiber brush to blend it all as your last step. It is much more seamless and blends in the lines together giving you a Jaclyn Hill cheek!
