Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

this mascara is not one of my faves , for me it just clumps my eyelashes together, there's so much to choose from now as well.i also found that when it got humid that it would smudge under my eyes and that's not practical if im at work, there are definitely better ones out there

I received this mascara as a gift and it was gluggy and hard to remove even when using make up wipes. It sticks like glue and leaves chunks all over your lashes.

to be honest with you i hated this mascara! It really dosent do anything for your lashes, I was really not happy with it, after Id heard so much hype.

As a contact wearer I found this made my usually hardy eyes quite sensitive and watery resulting in a rather unattractive panda eye effect.

I always thought this would be a great mascara as all the 'stars' use it and I like the Maybelline story but it has never worked for me - it smudges so I get panda eyes, it irritates my eyes and it can be quite gluggy!

This is a fairly average product. I honestly don't see what the hype is about here… For the price, there are better products out there. This is a good starting point for a natural look, maybe for a first-time makeup wearer, but I personally didn't think it made much difference to the look of my bare lashes.

I'd hear amazing things about this but it failed BIG TIME.

I have naturally long, thick lashes but when I applied this it didn't really even look like I had applied mascara :(

The brush feels really light and flimsy and this does a nice job of seperating my lashes, but I found that the formula wasn't as thick as I would like. Because of this this mascara gave my lashes a really natural look, whereas I like something a little more obvious and dramatic.

If you like the 'natural' look then I would recommend this, but I personally prefer something a little denser.

This mascara does nothing for my lashes, I have pretty crappy lashes that need a lot of help from mascara to look nice. This formula is quite wet and the brush is tiny. If you have already nice lashes but they are light then I think this mascara would be great to just darken it up. Even when I've tried to build it up, nothing much happens.

I love maybelline mascaras usually but would never buy this one again.

This mascara is very much a thing of the past. I know in previous years it has won consumer awards. But there are a million mascaras out there that are far superior than this. It dried hard and makes lashes spidery and the formula is very wet and takes ages to dry. I have no love for this product.

Omg I hated this mascara!yes it has been around for years and has a great reputation so I thought after all this time I would give it a go, my friends love this mascara but not me! I used it for a week and the brush was just horrible for my long curly lashes, they just looked limp and lifeless and there was no pop at all! I was highly disappointed and unfortunately would never buy again. There was one out a while ago with a different brush that I tried and really liked but this one like in the picture just is not a love for me.
