Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I used to use this mascara, but have changed to a more expensive alternative for better results. This mascara is good for a slightly more natural look as it doesn't give maximum length or volume, and wasn't prone to clumping unless used over shelf life. Pretty good for the price.

I think this is a good basic mascara, but with all the thickening and lengthening mascaras out there now, there are much better products than this one

Hasn't everyone owned this, its a make up regular not a favourite product but does the trick. The sort of thing i'd keep in bf's glove box for emergencys.

I love that this mascara has a narrow brush, as it is easier to put on. However the formula is very wet and I seem to get it everywhere, more so than other mascaras. I don't want to waste it by wiping on a tissue first, so I just go really carefully. Also, don't wait too long between coats as it sets hard.

This is one of my friends favourites, so I was expecting great things! I love the price, very inexpensive. It did give good coverage and didn't seem to clump but I did notice it flake on my face a little and had rubbed black rings under my eyes with wearing it all day. . .not a day to night mascara! It thickened my lashes but did not give much length.

A great "first" mascara to use. Easy to apply and doesn't clump. Very affordable too. Doesn't give you any length or volume but the colour Blackest Black is great.

As someone who likes dramatic lashes on an everyday basis, I find this to be very average. Would be the perfect mascara for someone who prefers a very natural, "my lashes but better" kind of look, or, like others have said, a young girl's first mascara.

nothing special about it, I got it on sale from The Warehouse and still I regret buying it. I have tons of other Mascaras from Dior, the Faceshop and this is by far the worst I have ever bought.

This mascara is said to be the best selling Maybelline mascara, but I can't really understand why. For me, it doesn't give my lashes much length, but it does volumise them. If you buy the non-waterproof version, it doesn't last all day for me, it flakes off a few hours after application. Not the best mascara, but ok for a more simple look.
