Maybelline Great Lash Mascara Review

I would love to say that Maybelline Great Lash Mascara has rocked my world, I really would. I've tried it twice - approximately 10 years apart and both times MGLM and I have had to part ways. I would put it on and the next thing you know it would be half way down my cheeks or half way up towards my eyebrows. It just wouldn't stay on. Initially I thought it was me being young and too quick to flutter my eyelashes, so in my late twenties I tried it again and the same thing happened, mascara everywhere. I gave it a few good goes each time but it just wouldn't stick to my lashes. What am I doing wrong? I would love to love it as much as others do as it's so affordable and apparently great. Do any lashalicious ladies have advice?

I expected to love this mascara like everyone else but i hated it. It smudged underneath my eyes after only a few hours of wear even when i was extremly careful not to touch my eyes and was very clumpy on my lashes as the wand is pathetic. Will not be purchasing again

This product gives you thin miserable lashes - I don't know why anyone buys it when Maybelline and L'Oreal have much better products for not that much more $.

After all the hype I thought this would be a really good product. It was nothing special and I much prefer my usual mascara. I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't use it again. It didnt really lengthen or thicken my lashes.

Meh. Had better, had worse. It really doesn't deserve the hype. It doesn't lengthen, it doesn't particularly thicken or volumise. Just, meh.

I tried this a while ago after hearing lots about it but was really disappointed. It didn't make much of a difference to my lashes. It is however a really good price.

I have used this mascara in the past and have not been impressed. Although it's a great price I found it a bit clumpy and didn't lengthen my lashes as much as better mascaras. Would not purchase again.

I bought the waterproof version and I had horrific panda eyes after an hour! It did give a little length... but definitely not worth walking around looking like mess all night.

There is so much hype over this product, it's such a basic, staple mascara that a lot of people seem to love, but not me! I found that it made my lashes clumpy and didn't really lengthen or volumize. I hate how small the bush is, and it seemed to leave black flakes on my face during the day. I do however generally love Maybelline mascaras, such as the One by One & Colossal, this one just left me extremely unimpressed.
