I was so excited to try this L'Oreal PRO XXL EXTENSION mascara as part of the trial teams. I did not really have many expectations except for a lot of length to my lashes. I found this mascara to be average. I found the first step to dry too quickly and when I layered on the second step, it got a bit clumpy. I would have preferred if there was a more straightforward way to apply as this was time consuming. I do not think that the fibres added much length at all, but this mascara was definitely very volumising. One positive of this mascara is that it did not smudge or flake on my under-eyes and lasted all day. My absolute favourite mascara is Maybelline Sky High, and part of the reason is because it's user friendly and easy to apply, and it gives amazing length and volume.

Tips: If you are looking for a mascara that makes your lashes thick and very voluminous, then I'd definitely give this mascara a go! You need to work quickly so step 1 doesn't dry before you add step 2.
Excellent product! Highly recommend, I was more shocked that it actually looked like false lashes not as full and long but pretty d*MN close!

I have used many mascaras over the years, ranging from cheapies, to more expensive brands. When my last $60 mascara ended, I went on the hunt for a more affordable mascara that would still give me the length and look that I liked. This was a great find that I stumbled upon! The two steps really do add volume and thickness, more so than just one step on its own. There is no doubt that I will be buying this mascara again.
This is such a nice Mascara. Its easy to apply, and easy to take off. Doesn’t clog your lashes together. I had a couple of friends asking me what Mascara I am using, which is definitely a sign it’s doing what it should. It doesn’t smudge, and there is no residue left on your lashes once removed with make up remover.
