L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Lift Mascara

Years ago in 1996 L’Oréal was my fave for mascara , I don’t remember the name. Never found a mascara as good as that one. UNTIL NOW! Whaaaaat!??!

I really love the packaging. Sleek easy fits in a small makeup bag or purse not that you need to reapply as it lasts well into the evening. Which is hard to find!

The very first application I wore to a 60th dress up party . I really didn’t plan on staying long…. But I did and danced my night away and had so much fun. I didn’t sweat off my L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Lift Mascara either! It stayed put!

Next was a 10 hour work day. Again perfect by 9pm hmmm could this really be my new 2023 version fave?! Yes!! My lashes were still in a lifted perfect position. Amazing! The length this beauty gives my lashes is awesome! I love it so much! Really opens up the eyes too.

My next fave is there is no smell or clumping which is really important to me . I’m also a glasses wearer . Scented products can easily give me migraines.

No smudging , easily comes off when you remove your makeup . No irritation either . So perfect for my sensitive eyes.

You should try it , you’ll love it !

It was a bleak day in Timaru when my little package arrived from Beauty Review and what better excuse to indulge in some pampering than a new beauty product to try? I’m always a bit dubious about a product that offers length, volume & curl without some sort of clumping but L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara really does live up to it’s word except for a small amount of smudging when I rubbed tired, hayfever eyes at the end of the day. However this is totally forgivable when my other half arrived home and commented on how pretty my eyes looked-definitely a win coming from someone who loses his car keys when they’re right in front of him. My lashes were longer, thicker & curled beautifully! They felt surprisingly soft & natural, plus I didn’t have to separate them with a disposable mascara wand as I frequently do with other products. Flaking wasn’t an issue, even when I applied two layers-just to see how long & thick I could make my scant eye lashes. The wand was easy to use and the mascara came off with little effort using a creme cleanser. Often my lashes will rub against my glasses which is annoying but the lift from this product was fantastic! No smudges on my glasses and no rubbing. This is my new favourite mascara!

I was intrigued about trying L'Oreal Paris' new Telescopic Life Mascara. I have short lashes and smaller eyes so am always on the lookout for mascara that opens up my eyes a bit more and lifts my eyelashes. I often struggle with smudging after just few hours, classic raccoon eyes!

The Telescopic Lift Mascara claims to lift lashes up to +5mm in visible length with no fall-down, clumps, smudging and flaking, with the aid of its double hook bristle brush.

I used the black mascara everyday for a week, curling my eyelashes first and then carefully applying the mascara to my top lashes, paying attention to the double hook bristle brush zig-zagging it from bottom to top.

I noticed throughout the day that the mascara lived up to its no clumps and smudging claims. I even accidentally rubbed my eyes by accident at one point and didn't notice any smudging, impressive!

However, I found it didn't dramatically lift my lashes the way I had hoped it would, I've definitely had better results in this area from other brands. I don't think the Telescopic Lift Mascara is waterproof either.

Overall, it is a fine mascara and I liked that it didn't flake, clump or smudge. But I didn't see a significant improvement in the lifting of my lashes or the difference of a double hook bristle brush. I don't think this is 'the one' for me in the mascara department but I hope it works well for other users!

I found the packaging was fairly nondescript, just a plain black tube, but who cares whst it looks like if it works right? The formula is more on the wet side. The brush is quite unique with quite small silicone bristles only on one side of the brush, the other side is flat. The wand gets quite a lot of product on it despite only having minimal bristles. The formula goes on smoothly and with minimal clumping. I found it really extended the length of my lashes while still giving good volume too. The wand managed to get every lash and was easy to use. The result was long thick lashes. I naturally have quite curled lashes so can't comment on it's ability to lift lashes but I certainly didn't have any issues with it. It wore well but I would say it's definitely not waterproof!

I was able to try out the L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Lift Mascara. It makes your eye lashes look long. They stand out nicely while you are wearing the mascara. I just found that i aways ended up with mascara below my eyes after awhile. But will keep using the mascara as my lashes do look amazibg while wearing the mascara.

This mascara comes in a sleek black tube and says to offer you length and lift! Which it does do. However I find that way too much product comes out onto the wand and if you don’t spend the time to remove excess it can cause clumps. The formula it’s self is nice. Definitely offers length and lifts the lashes however I think it lacks a little bit of volume, but that could be my personal preference in mascara. It doesn’t made lashes appear more curled like you have used a lash curler. I also found the more coats you applied the more if would flake off during the day.

I did like the mascara over all, but found it to be nothing spectacular. I found it to be more for a more natural everyday l, your natural lashes but better look.

The double hook brush design does take some getting used to, but once I worked it out it was great. It easily lifts and separated my lashes and coats them well. The small brush design makes it easier to get the inner and corner lashes as well.

Although I don't feel it added length, my lashes are separated with no clumping. It stays on all day and didn't smudge. For everyday wear 1 coat was enough with 2 coats giving a dramatic look for night.

Overall I would happily use this mascara again and recommend it to friends. I would suggest that you persist with the brush as it is great once you've mastered it.
