I have tried this after always being recommended it by literally everyone and it really isn't for me! Purchased this and was so disappointed after the hype I was feeling that this was going to change my life and woodland creature were going to be sewing my clothes and brushing my hair, but no such luck. Smooth formula with a nice brush, packaging was of a high quality. I have to say the application was smooth and clump free with the brush providing good control and ability to place product with precision. product coated the lashes well, but i have to say I wasn't wowed by the results upon application. Yes it was nice, but not knock your socks off nice. Anyway my problem with this product is with how it wore through the day. I have a greasy lid, for lack of better words and often have problems with mascara transferring from my lashes to my lids. So annoying! Id end up with black smudging on my eyelids by lunch time and have to wipe them constantly. Note I have also tried the waterproof formula and didn't find it any different to the non waterproof version which was a shame. Wanted to love it, can see why people do, but not for me.

Hi, I love Too-Faced products and while this went on great, it kept smudging throughout the day. Dam Girl is a better product, no smudges!
I bought this because a friend recommended it. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected and the hype was just a hype. The mascara clumps as you apply but as it dries becomes flaky and falls of leaving little specs.
Would not recommend.

I was not impressed with this mascara at all, definitely overhyped and I don’t know why. It was so clumpy and didn’t go on well - it made my eyelashes look horrible and spidery and I was so disappointed as it is not cheap. Would not recommend this mascara - so many better cheaper options then this one
Having purchased after reading the 5 lip reviews and others raving about it on blogs I have to admit I was a little disappointed.
Too Faced packaging is again flawless with this mascara, it is sexy cute in it's metal effect pink barrel with the letter all raised, embossed into the container. But that is where it stops impressing me, the second I opened the lid and pulled out the wand to apply onto my lashes I saw nothing about the wand to suggest it was any different to hundreds of others I have tried before.
Formula is the problem for me, it is true it is a very dark black which is wonderful, but the texture is rather thick and gloopy. After my usual application of zig zag and pull I looked in horror to find little balls, clumps! and then my lashes started to stick together. This was from one swipe! I grabbed a disposable wand and played with the lashes, teasing out the extra mascara and working it through but it never looked wow! Second attempt I brushed off about 99% of the mascara from the wand and dragged through my lashes, again almost instantly like static my lashes clumped together and again I spent ages working a disposable wand through to get them to behave. I was frustrated as I really wanted to love this mascara but it is just not meant to be with me. Perhaps it is a dodgy batch but I brought it from an official Too Faced stockist, perhaps it is my lash type. Who knows, all I know is that for me this now resides in the bin
I had heard of so many things about this mascara that I just had to try it for myself. It is blimmin' expensive and I picked it up in a beautylish haul. May I just mention I hate the name, it is so much of a marketing gimmick. If any mascara lives up to this name you are doing something wrong.
The packaging is pretty intense for this mascara. It feels like a metal tube and has a light pink finish which is pretty cute. The name is embossed down the side which I really like as it means it won't wipe off like so many of my other makeup products. The brush is really fibrous which I like. It seems to be able to get onto every single lash and coat them in plenty of product.
Now the formula of the actual mascara is what I don't really like. When I first got this it was so wet! I put it on and I would always get mascara everywhere. Now I have been applying mascara for quite a few years now so it isn't like I am a novice or anything. So I had seen a few reviews saying this gets better with age so I left it a few months (ignoring best before dates or anything) and tried it again. Suddenly the formula was drier and much easier to use. It still coats every lash in a black as black formula, defines adds volume and keeps my lashes curled. Also I don't find it to hard to remove at all. BUT the reason I won't purchase this again or recommend this to anyone is that it flakes all day. I get to a mirror around 3pm and their are black flakes all around my eyes! It is so annoying because I love the look on my eyelashes but I can't stand the flaking and won't put up with it when there are so many great mascaras out there.
So this mascara is now way past its used by date and I think it is time for me to move on to something (hopefully) better.
This is a good mascara, yes. It did give great lashes, but they weren't as dramatic as i had hoped, and especially for the price i paid. I ad heard wonders about trying this holy grail product, but i came away feeling disappointed. I think high street brands pull off the same effects.
This mascara I so badly wanted to love, it made my lashes full, long and really dark without using alot of product however what I was finding it halfway through the day I would have black transfer under my eyes that no matter the situation if it was hot or cold this would still end up transferring
I bought the mini version of this and it was the best move I made. I really, really wanted to like this. I mean there's weird bumps on the outside of the tube that are oddly satisfying, the shape of the wand is super handy and seems like they actually put some thought into getting reaching the smaller lashes around the inside of the eye, it goes on really nicely and looks great!!
But it smudges. (I mean pair it with the right eyeshadow and its a look!) I've tried a few methods to make it stay, that have worked on other not-so-good mascara but regardless this just smudges over everything. And at the end of the day, its 2020, we need stronger mascara then this.
Tips: If you're on the fence about trying this - have a look into trying out the mini size first so you're not spending as much.
I liked the volume it gave but it irritated my eyes and it flakes off a lot. Wouldn’t recommend it as there are much better alternatives that are much cheaper
Tips: Maybe get the waterproof one
