I am very fair in skintone (NC15 in MAC) and find this bronzer in the shade Bronze too orange on me. I have tried using this on my clients also but it makes the skin too warm and appears orange. As well as the tone of the bronzer it is also quite shimmery. I do enjoy a bit of shimmer in a bronzer if it is only intended for the cheeks, however I was hoping to be able to use this all over including neck. I think it would be best kept to the cheeks if you don't like a lot of shimmer. Aside from the colour not being right for me or the shimmer being a little too much, I do find the texture and pigmentation of the bronzer to be good. It also is in nice sleek packaging that is sturdy and classic looking.

Tips: I would recommend being matched for the right tone before purchasing, and assessing how much shimmer you would like because I know this also comes in a matte bronze.
I picked up one of these compacts during my yearly MAC haul (birthday of course) and was super excited to finally have a proper bronzer. I had asked the MAC makeup artist for some help in choosing something to contour with so she suggested this product. Now I didn't try the bronzer on before purchasing it which I highly regret but felt assured it was the right choice as suggested by the makeup artist.
I found this bronzer to be quite shimmery so I could only really use it on my cheeks which was a bummer. The shade she had picked out for me according to my skin tone looked just awful on me, it made my skin look dark and shiny.
The product itself was good quality and would last all day long (the one day I wore it). This product is expensive so I was quite disappointed it didn't match me but I would probably buy another one in a better shade.
Tips: Try before you buy!.
A friend of mine swears by it, so I boght it & tried it-despite it being quite expensive for me. I have very fair skin & I am literally the lightest foundation colour you can buy from almost all of the big companies and this looked really muddy on my skin. Even when i Just used a small amount I looked like i had stage makeup on. I gave it to my sister who has more colour in her skin & it suited her perfectly! It is a great product and has lasted her a very long time now, just not suitable for very pale skin.
Tips: Use a light dusting & build up the colour
I have this powder in "Golden" which gives the perfect amount of shimmer (not too much for day time). It is a really great colour that isn't too dark and really compliments your natural complexion. Only downfall would be the relatively high price tag but it does last a long time as you don't need to use much.
Tips: Apply sparingly at first & build up the colour. Make sure to use on your neck to fix fake tan colour differences!
I definitely use this bronzer a fair amount, especially when I go out. However, in terms of every day use I tend to stick to a more matte looking bronzer. For me, this bronzer is too shimmery to wear out during the day! When I go out for dinner or anything though, I use it all the time. It looks really lovely in the darker lighting and is more appropriate for that kind of occassion I feel...
Tips: Like any other bronzer, apply only small amounts at a time to build up. When I first used this, I found it way more harsh than other bronzers I had used!
I recently switched from the shimmery bronzer to the matte bronzer, it is really easy to build up on the cheeks and other areas for contouring. I don't usually apply much because I am quite pale. Nice colour, good addition to every day make up for an extra touch. Probably a little pricey, as I know there are some good dupes out there.
Every girl should own a great bronzer for contouring as well as a little bit of a glow! Brought the Mac Matte Bronzer in their shop after the sales assistant recommended it with my go-to foundation. I think it's just an all rounder - easy application and great colour. At $48 it's not too expensive either for the quality you're getting - just my opinion!
Tips: Start with less and then build up - I'm quite pale so always find less is more
I have only ever bought one bronzer previously and it lasted me years. So when it came time to buy a new one, and after hearing so many ladies rave on about MAC I just knew I had to try it. I wish I’d known before now that there is both a matte and shimmer type. I bought a shimmer bronzer without realising, and although it isn’t too bad, I would definitely prefer the matte.
I have such fair skin and find it hard sometimes to find a bronzer that isn’t too dark and blends well. I’m glad to say that this bronzer is perfect for my skin tone. I only use a small amount to dust over my mineral foundation to give it a nice glow. I’m not 100% convinced on the price value, but I’ll have to reserve my judgement to see how long it lasts.
It comes in a nice sturdy black compact with mirror which I like. Too many of my current powders have the clear plastic twist top and crack easily.
Really like the easy way it goes on. Only need a small amount to blend and contour but stays on all day and does not make skin feel dry.
Tips: Use sparingly.
I think this product would be good, but I got colour matched so wrong. The give me sun, is basically the same shade as my own skin, so there is barely any difference, it just looks like I've packed on the powder in the areas I tried to bronze.
Tips: Get the right colour!!
