L'oreal Paris Revitalift Day Cream Reviews

Was a little bit worried about trying this as i have been struggling with my skin since reacting to a latex sponge that was included with a new pressed powder i had purchased 6 months ago that caused a dermatitis reaction. But hallelujah, my skin has been fine with this Loreal Revitalift day cream. Its nice & light, non greasy, has a low to no fragrance. Its easy to use, it smooths out & absorbs nicely. Tha packaging is simple, easy to open & fully recyclable, Yay!!!! I have been useing for 10 days & feel that my fine lines have gotten finer, yus! Overall skin appeared is smoother to the touch with a overall brighter complexion. Will continue to use this as im keen to see the full benefits & how long it lasts.

I had just purchased the Revitalift eye cream a couple of weeks before I got sent an invite to trial this cream, so it was good timing I could use them together. The day cream comes in a heavy white glass jar with a red and white screw top lid, its very simple but looks nice. The cream is quite thick and has a nice scent to it. I found I only needed a small amount because it spreads well over my face and if I used too much it took a bit longer to absorb into my skin and made my foundation not sit right throughout the day. I've been using it for 10 days now every morning and I have found my skin feels smoother, not sure about firmer but it definitely hydrates my skin. Because you don't need to use lot at a time this cream is good value for money. I'm excited to see the results it will do for my skin so will continue to use it every day for another few weeks.

It's thick cream, which I guess as it has SPF is to be expected. It takes a while to soak in, so don't go to heavy handed. I thought it might feel greasy, but once I'd left it a while, my skin was definitely softer and felt more supple. It has the "usual" L'Oreal fragrance which I find can be a bit strong, but it's not grossly unpleasant and you don't notice it after a while. I used it sparingly, I didn't want to overload my skin as occasionally it can be sensitive, but I had no problems with this cream. After using this cream for a while, I think I can say I can see a bit of an improvement. My skin appears firmer, and I don't get dry patches anymore.

Packaging is beautiful glass jar easy to open but quite bulky and heavy, the product it self is thick and creamy with a lovely floral sent, easily spreads across the skin and absorbed quickly, it’s very hydrating, although I didn’t notice my skin being firmer or reduction in wrinkles. So for the price I would not recommend to a friend.

OMG, where do I start. So when I got picked for this trial I was so excited to be able to try something I usually couldn't justify spending money on. So it arrived and I quickly cleaned my face and followed the directions, the only thing I did different was to pat the cream not circular motions when putting it on. Anyway as soon as I put it on you feel something happening, like getting in there. I continued this daily and was slowly starting to see things changing, like around my eyes the fine lines were filling in. And around my top and bottom lip were also not as heavy set. After 9 days and enjoying what I was seeing, I thought I wonder what would happen if II stopped for one day. That's what I did, but I only lasted till mid afternoon, and I was back in there putting my magic cream on to fill the lines back in. So as a product that says you will notice a difference in 7 days, you will, and then you'll notice even more of a difference in 14 days and so on. One thing I wish I could of had, was the whole set up, like night cream eye cream, but after using the day cream I will for sure be keeping this up. Because it works. And your skin is so soft after using this. You won't be disappointed, give it a go.

Love the packaging of this product, the striking metallic red lid makes it really stand out on my bathroom shelf. Also the cardboard box it arrives in and the glass jar the product is in are both easily recyclable.

The product itself has a thick and creamy consistency which smooths into the skin quickly and cleanly. Your skin is left feeling soft, smooth and ever so slightly plumped.

I love the fragrance of the product which is very refreshing, it seems more fruity than floral.

I have been using the product for just under two weeks and believe a few of my very fine lines around my eyes and lips are fading. Overall my skin feels much softer.

I will definitely be purchasing this in the future and look forward to rewinding a bit of time

LOréal Paris Revitalift Day Cream A good looking package arrived at my office, unfortunately the nice looking packaging was crushed during the courier service but the product in tact and in a good condition, not that I care about the outside box, I think it is a waste of paper, you open in take out the product and off to the dump the outer carton go.

The day cream has a nice and creamy and I did not find it too heavy for day wear. It spread easily over my face, and left it nice and smooth. I actually forego my primer with this one. However it did not have an SPF so I would only use this during winter months or when I am sure I am not going to spend time outside. There was no overwhelming fragrance, which suited me just ideally. I did have to use more of the then I usually do and had to did my finger in more than once to apply to my whole face and neck area. I think it is rich enough to be used during winter months, but will probably not be ideal for the summer months. I prefer products with SPF because my skin burn and discolour easily.

I think that using the product for longer will help to reach its full potential. Although I used it for more than a week, they say visible result in 7 days, I did not see much of a difference in my skin texture over the last week while using it. As I say I think I will give it more time.

Overall I liked the product, but it was not my favourite. It is pretty expensive compared to products in the same range that do include a SPF. I probably will not recommend this one which is a shame.

This day cream came in the usual red and white Revitalift packaging. It comes in a heavy glass jar which just feels like luxury to me! The cream itself is a rich fairly thick consistency which is lightly fragranced and the smell doesn’t overpower or linger too long. I use it generously all over my neck/décolletage area and with a slightly lighter hand for the face. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy afterfeel. I like it for winter when my skin isn’t an oil slick but I’ll have to see how it goes in summer as it may end up too oily when I sweat due to the richness of the cream. I haven’t yet noticed much of an improvement in my skin or lines but it’s only bee about a week and a half so I’m going to keep using it before I make up my mind on that. I’ll keep using this until it’s gone but unsure yet as to repurchase as it’s not that cheap! So glad to be part on the trial team!

1st measurable results in 7 days ... unfortunately I have not seen any results yet but will continue to use daily before I completely make up my mind as to whether it is worth purchasing or not.

The cream comes in a white, very solid container with a bright reflective and shiny red brim - there is no struggling to find it among my lotions and potions.

It is a relatively thick creamy consistency with a rather pleasant summery scent which for some reason reminds me of creams my mum and nana used when I was a little girl. The cream took a few minutes to absorb into my skin but once absorbed my skin felt hydrated and refreshed which is a lovely way to start the day!

I am not a person who has ever gotten blemishes in my lifetime however three popped up within the first few days of using so maybe it was a little thick for my skin? My skin tends to dry out quite a lot in winter and as such I feel this would be great as a hydrating day cream for winter skin. I am experiencing very sensitive skin at present and when applying some products (even natural products) it feels like my face is burning and I have to quickly hold a cold face cloth on my face but this cream did not affect my skin at all which is a real positive.

I did not see any firming or wrinkles being smoothed out but I also wonder if I would need to use their full ant-wrinkle and firming regime to see visible results within 7 days and not the day cream alone.

Okay I'm a big fan of L'oreal. For a drugstore brand they punch way above their weight in terms of the skincare products, and for someone a little more mature (ahem) like me, it's a way I can access some top notch skincare without breaking the bank.

This L'oreal Paris Revitalift Day Cream was no exception. It's a lovely day cream that isn't too heavy, but provides a lot of hydration. It provides moisture all day and wears well under makeup. It doesn't have SPF, but that means that I can wear it for a light night cream as well if need be. It doesn't react badly to having an SPF on top of it so that's great.

Now I will say that I think I need to use it longer in order to see the results that it's promoted as having. It's a lovely daily moisturiser, but I don't yet see any visible reduction in wrinkles.

I would recommend though and will continue using this on the daily. Great to know I have another L'oreal option available to me.
