Thank you so much for this opportunity! I used it the night that it arrived in the mail. It was such an easy hair dye to use and was such an even colour. I've had bad experiences in the past with hair colour but this one has been the best ever! My hair was light brown to start so I chose the shade iced chocolate and it made it go a little darker but looks really natural! Super impressed with the results!!

Tips: Make this your go to hair dye!!
My hair is naturally dark blonde, and I got this to trial in the shade Dark Blonde to enhance my hair's colouring and to keep it looking natural.
The instructions were easy to follow, the pack included gloves, developer, colour tube and some conditioner. It was easy to mix together, and applying it was easy as it was quite a thick liquid, and covered all my medium length hair. The smell wasn't overpowering as it does not contain ammonia. I left it in for about 25 minutes to develop, then washed it out. The pack came with some delicious smelling conditioner, which was used after rinsing my hair. Once my hair was dryed off, my hair is super soft and glossy. My hair has a lovely intensity and sheen to it that it was previously lacking. And I love how it has taken some of the frizziness away. I would definitely recommend using this product again!
Firstly - you'll notice that it's a tad more pricey than other at home hair dyes, but in my opinion it is totally worth it!
Firstly the packaging is great - it looks so sleek and pink and pretty. :) I bought mine in Black Cherry. The colour was great and it looked very similar to the model on the box for my dark hair colour. The one disappointing thing was the gloves - flimsy and rips easily which is not great, as I want the dye to end up on my hair not my fingers. However, I do like the formula of this one - more so than the Garnier one that I have also used. It doesn't sting the scalp like the Garnier one does, and it also smells better. Usually hair dyes give me a headache due to the smell, but the L'oreal one is great - smells gooood (for a hair dye).
I find that this formula is also a lot less drying, and coupled with the condition, I find that the colour lasts and my hair stays supple and smooth.
Overall, I really like the results - both the colour and the condition of my hair, and if I were to do a home-dye, I will definitely repurchase.
Tips: Put some vaseline or oil around the hairline - stops the product from staining the skin. :)
I asked for the Light Brown Casting creme Gloss.I found it easy to prepare and smooth to apply.
L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss left my hair feeling silky, shining and covered the horrible re-growth I had. It lightened my hair slightly but not by much as I have dark hair.
I was most impressed with the how easy and quick it was to prepare and apply. The shine and silky feeling when my hair dried. I let it dry naturally.
I would definitely use it again. I feel as though after a small number of times using this product I could have lighter hair and it would of been a healthy way of doing so, instead of stripping/bleaching my hair.
The loreal casting creme gloss silky blond 801 is a Great product, my hair was shiny, silky and smelt wounderful. Most products i have tried over the years has left my hair dry and smelt very strong of chemicals when applying. Definatly recomend this product to people who are left with dry yuck hair after colouring. Very easey to apply to your hair. The colour i secleted looked bright and glossy and has lasted well after many hair washes.
This product is incredibly good if you are looking to dying your hair at home instead of going to a salon. What draws me to this product even more is that it is ammonia free which means that it was better for my hair compared to other hair dyes and it left my hair looking healthy and soft. I have very dark hair and this just left the colour of my hair looking very natural like i hadn't dyed it which is a bonus. Another bonus is the price because it is affordable and also the huge range of colours to choose from. Overall i am very happy with this product and i would definitely recommend this.
Great product, made my hair look fresh and shinny, chocolate was a nice Colour, I like that it has no ammonia as some products are harsh on your hair and strong smelling, this has a nice smell. I have shoulder length hair and it covered it nicely. Had no problems following step by step instructions easy to use. The non drip creme formula makes it very easy to use with out mess. I really liked the Shine Enhancing conditioner with royal jelly, made my hair so soft and shinny, its like having your hair died at the salon. Recommend you try this product, I will be using this product again.
Tips: Over all i was very happy with this product my tip is to try it for your self :)
Found this product really easy to use, Doesn't smell as potent as other hair dyes, Loved the color when it first washed out and looked amazing, However the only let down with L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss is that it runs when you sweat and when you sleep but otherwise is pretty good.
Tips: Use an old towel around your neck when you dye your hair and wash off with a wet facecloth if it ends up on your face/ neck.
I love it, it was so easy to apply, I could do alot of it before I had to ask for help, it went on easily and I didnt end up with colour everywhere haha It washed out well and my hair took to the colour well. its a nice colour that I think suits me. My hair felt soft and silky when I had finished. It's been a couple of weeks and the colour is fading slightly but not to badly considering it's for 28 washes, I do like it and would definitely use if I'm after a short term colour change.
I am a fan of both the Chocolate and Iced Chocolate shade for a natural looking warm brown, and their easy to follow directions mean that doing a home hair colour job is no sweat. I find that the colour lasts well and the finish is shiny, with plenty of conditioner to top up the shine factor for a few weeks after the initial application. The product is highly fragranced, and I could do without such a strong smell but it isn't a major.
