expensive (maybe because I'm paying for the brand name?) my hair smells nice BUT it ain't shinny, doesn't feel fuller or stronger (I think I loose more hair when I use this) silkier to touch? maybe...

I found the shampoo really harsh on my hair didn't feel clean or feel nice afterwards. I was really disappointed with it. I have fine hair and gets oily so I feel this didn't work for me just made my hair greasy.
Tips: I think its better suited to someone with dry hair.
The packaging for this product is nice, simple and clear. All information is easy to read and the ingredients and what the product is supposed to do is clearly stated on the bottle. I found I didn't have to use much as it is quite a heavy shampoo and foams a lot when you massage into your hair and I have quite long hair. It did however, leave my hair quite knotted and straw like after rinsing out. I didn't feel like it lived up to its promises. The one thing I did like was the scent, it was nice and fresh and lasted really well - probably 12hrs I could still smell it quite strongly in my hair which was really nice. All in all, I wouldn't use this product again.
Tips: I have quite dense, thick hair and it is long so it may work better on shorter, finer hair :) Try it for yourself.
I like the packaging on this product , it’s interesting and nice to look at. I found this shampoo was a lot less harsh than most shampoos I’ve used in the past, but at the same time I didn’t get the ‘repair’ results I was expecting . I have dry hair from highlights and usually after shampooing , my hair feels like dry hay, this product didn’t feel like that after washing my hair with it, but it didn’t feel any better than normal when dry either. This product is heavily scented which I didn’t like. I have a sensitive scalp and this product cause irritation within a few uses . It does however lather up really well, so you don’t need to use a lot of product to get good coverage, even on thick curly hair like mine. I was disappointed with the results and wont be using this product again.
Tips: Avoid this product if you have a sensitive scalp
To start, my first impression of this shampoo was that it smelt amazing. The smell also stays on for some more time after washing.
It lathers very well and removes off all the oil in just one wash. No second wash is needed. It leaves the scalp and hair clean and fresh.
L'Oreal claimed this shampoo would restore my hair back to its optimum health, however the product was a little disappointing. I don't think it made my hair any better than it was before. It did make my hair incredibly straight if I washed before bed and woke up in the morning which was a bonus.
I started off with high hopes with this product, and it just didn't live up to its expectations, I probably wouldn't purchase this type next time around.
I have quite long, thick, damaged hair. This conditioner promised to make it feel healthier, softer and silkier, as well as repairing it. To some extent it did, but it didn't work as well as my Redken conditioner. I also didn't notice any difference in the health of my hair after using it for the full trial period, despite using it every day.
I'm only half-way through the bottle at the end of the 4 week trial period, so at least it last for a reasonable period of time.
Tips: It's probably just better to splash out a bit more on a salon-quality shampoo that would have more of an effect.
This stuff is so bad it stripped my hair and made it all dry and crispy.
I had such high hopes as I have seen many beauty gurus on youtube recommend it.
The only positive is I like the smell. I would never purchase this shampoo again. My aunt bought some as well - it stripped her hair and made it dry like straw.
First up, I must confess that I rarely use liquid shampoos anymore after moving onto Ethique shampoo bars about 4 years ago. Every now and then I like to dip back into a suoer foam, fragranced shampoo for a change. I saw this range in Chemist Warehouse and thought I'd give it a go as I have highlighted, dry, wavy hair. The shampoo itself is quite thick and feels high end. The fragrance is so strong.. I find it over powering and sickly but that may just be my tastes. The foam... wow, the foam is a lot! Again, this may just be me but I find it too much and needs a lot of rinsing. In regards to the claims on the bottle regarding less breakage, more shine, healthier hair... I cant say I noticed anything. I'm not even sure that citric acid in this low level, left on for such a short time would do anything anyway. As such, I think this is overpriced and nothing special. I dont like the coaching it leaves on my hair which weighs it down.
I had quite damaged hair so tried this and the conditioner. It was like washing my hair with regular shampoo, it did nothing at all. I like most of the Elvive line but this did nothing
Tips: The Total Repair 5 mask on the other hand is FABULOUS
I have been working my way through this shampoo for a while now and haven’t really noticed much difference in the condition of my hair. I have to admit though that my hair is pretty dry and lacklustre as it’s had many years of the hair dryer aimed at it and of course lots of colouring as well, but even coupling it with its matching conditioner it was still quite lifeless. It lathers up well, smells good and certainly well priced, but just doesn’t suit my hair.
Tips: Don’t quite fully rinse the conditioner off, this leaves it feeling a bit more nourished.
