It's not a brush. It's not a flat iron. It's not a curling iron. It's the InStyler® rotating hot iron!

The InStyler rotating hot iron is a totally new styling and straightening tool unlike any hair styling product ever invented!

The secret to the InStyler iron lies in its rotating heated polishing cylinder, along with four rows of precision-aligned bristles.

Here's how it works when you run the InStyler rotating hot iron through your hair, the first set of bristles gently sort and separate your hair strands. Then the rotating heated polishing cylinder gently glides over your hair, smoothly polishing, straightening, and styling each strand. Finally, the second set of bristles puts the finishing touch on your hair, leaving you with shiny, silky, hair! It's truly amazing!

And the best part is, because of the InStyler rotating hot iron's patented design, your hair won't get smashed and baked by the super-intense heat of a flat iron or other "hot" tools. In fact, the InStyler rotating hot iron uses less heat than traditional hot tools, and delivers better results. How? Because the InStyler rotating hot iron's gentle heat in conjunction with the rotating motion of the polishing cylinder literally polishes your hair strands individually so it doesn't need extreme heat to get amazing results.

Your hair will be shinier, bouncier and full of lift and life!

Plus, the InStyler rotating hot iron does so much more than any styling tool out there. Get lift and fullness – right from the root! Get a sexy flip in seconds. Straighten even the toughest, most coarse hair – and still get fullness and style without the stick-straight "flatness" of a flat iron. Do a full style in 8 minutes – and change it again in two minutes! Wrap your hair around the rotating polishing cylinder – and get an amazing curl that lasts all day!

If you can hold it, you can do it with the InStyler rotating hot iron!

the IN Styler Rotating Hair Iron

I bought this a couple year ago when the ads were first on TV. My bangs were getting split ends from my hair iron everyday so I bought this hoping it would make lessen the split ends and make it easier on my hair. I loved it. It's versatile you can use it on wet hair (though I recommend more like damp as it will take forever) you can make it straight or curl you hair. It does have some cons though like the brush bristles aren't replaceable and they're difficult to clean and so you can't use hairstyling products that are sticky or oily. And even though they state that you can do it without a heat protector on the TV ads I don't recommend using it without a heat protector plus unless you use products that "set and hold" to keep your hair straight or curly it won't hold all day. But other than that I love the Instyler and even though I'm not satisfied with other products I've called in and bought off the TV channel this is the one exception were impulse buying off the TV network paid off.

Tips: To speed up the styling process if your hair is wet I would recommend towel drying it and blow drying it first and then using the Instyler to style it. I use Dove Hair Therapy Heat Activated Mist as a heat protector since it isn't sticky and doesn't leave residue on the bristles of the Instyler.

hard for a start but well worth it

I bought the wet to dry ones and I was a lil bit worried about it but they worked a treat. My hair is nive and soft and was so much faster than my ghds. Being able to use them when my hair is damp makes it so much faster. Havnt tried to curl with it yet but plan to try.

Tips: Slow and steady is the best way

so instyle

I have a love relationship with my instyler. I love the straightening effects. I think it is more natural than my straightener. I could not really curls my hair and that upset me. I found its not the instyler it is my hair. It works amazingly on my friends though. A+

Tips: Make sure the barrel is not spinning against your hair as this can cause a teased effect.

Love it.

I have thin straight hair, and my mum has thick wavy hair. We love the instyler, and it seems to work great for us, we can curl and straighten our hair easily and our hair is always so shiny and soft after using it. The only problem ive had with the in-styler is occasionally burning myself by accident, that is my fault completely but you do have to be careful :)..

Difficult to get the hang of but......

I like how my hair looks when i straighten it with the instyler, my hair has body and bounce its not dead flat on my head. I also like that i can do my hair on the lowest setting ( lower than straighteners) the instyler can be hard to get used to using as its very big in the hands and can hurt your wrists when trying to curl or flick the ends. But overall i like it and will keep using it.

Tips: To stop any fly always i use a moroccan spray after straightening to add shine and condition.

Instyler

I love my instyler and use it most days, but it did take me awhile to use it with confidence. I still can't curl my hair with it though. I wouldn't rush out and buy it again as there is now more models out there to choose from.

Tips: I have found that a good heat protector spray is great and i also use a good oil which helps with the shine and stops the frizz and drying out the hair.

I love it

I like how it gives my hair nice finish. I usually have rather unruly hair. InStyler gives me that 'tidy' look. For me, the typical hair straightener gives me that 'ironed' hair look which does not suit me.

I find the instructions that came with the tool useful. I practice using it unplugged a few times, to get used to the mechanic of using it. I still use the heat guard that comes with the tool. It was recommended that new users use it. I still use it as it keeps me from burning my hands. I am comfortable using it now but see no reason to remove a safety guard.

I like the pouch they provided. It is somewhat heat resistance. This way you can put it away while it still warmish. Plus it keeps the tool clean (away from dust).

Tips: I turn on the tool, go about doing my business doing other things. Just under 2 mins later, it is ready for me to use.

Like any other hair straightener, protect your hair before you use the tool. Spray the hair with recommended heat protective product.

smooth results.

After using the rotating iron, i would never go back to using a flat iron. The instyler i havent used but i have used which is the exact same this except you can also use it on wet hair to instantly straighten without blowdrying. Because of having curly hair i find it helpful as blow drying makes my hair frizzy so being able to straighten it while its damp from tge shower is a life saver. I feel like it doesnt really cut time nor is it faster because you have to feed each section through slowly for a nice and smooth finish. I do find it easier to use due to the fact there is a heat gard so i dont burn myself. I really like this product but i do reccomend doing your research before hand to make sure you will like it as much as i do.

Tips: Run the hot barrel over the top side of your roots first

Let your hair glide through slowly as going too fast will just make your hair frizz out because of brushes on the sides.

Great Heat Tool

I loved my instyler! It was interesting to use at first but once I got the hang of it, I preferred it over my other heat tools. I was able to use big sections and get nice straight sleek hair or smaller sections to give my very curly frizzy hair a nice loose wave that is very on trend now. What I liked about the instyler is that I only had to run it through once through each section and it would make my hair straight and zero frizz, so it cut down on a lot of time, especially in the mornings. The cord is nice and long as well.

Now onto what I didn't like about it, and why it got given a lower score from me is that because it's so powerful and it only has 2 settings which I don't know what the actual heat was at. On the second setting it heats up so fast and so high, it is quite damaging to my hair, even with a heat protectant it, my hair would feel fried afterwards. I used the Instyler for around 5 years and it was truly loved, but now I have retired it in favor of a heat tool that I can see what heat setting I'm using and can adjust to a lower heat setting, but have to run it through my hair multiple times. It takes longer, but I think it is less damaging to my hair.

The instyler is a great tool but customers should be aware of just how hot and fast it does your hair. On the plus it cuts down on time in the mornings and has a nice long power cord but on the negative, it really does not offer any heat protection and will damage your hair. So whatever value higher over the other is whether you would love the Instyler or not.
