Garnier not for sensitive skin

I m been used garnier twice, and both times have not comfortable feeling . It s been burning and itching. I think it s not for sensitive skin ,it sad because i m really like that fruity smell after garnier use.

Garnier Nutrisse hair colour

"Rich, deep, long-lasting colour Perfect 100% grey coverage, even on stubborn greys" UM NO!!!

Smells gorgeous looks gorgeous.

Thought it sounded gorgeous.

But sadly it faded so fast and didn't really cover greys.

Literally after 3 washes the greys were coming through, it was almost as tho....it was washing of my hair!!

I wouldn't use it again.

I used dark red.

Radiant Blonde? Try patchy blonde

Theres nothing better than an evening of the girls getting together and dying their hair. But at the end of this evening things werent so great. I am a light mousy brown, just about the most boring hair colour and so attempted to lighten it up. However I now have blonde roots and tips with my standard colour in between. This is just not a good look. I will not be using it again and will be looking for another brand to redye my hair.

Tips: I think this product would be suited to lighter hair

GARNIER - no as strong with blond colours

I normally use nice 'n' easy by Clairol, light ash blond, I tried the equivalent with the Garnier nutrisse range and it didnt lighten as much as the nice 'n' easy. Though it did have a nice smell and felt soft after.

Tips: Maybe use a shade lighter than what you think?

Wont use again

This was the most recent hair dye I purchased and I only got it because it was under $10 at countdown. I now regret not paying more and getting Olia as you do get what you pay for. The instructions were easy to follow and the bottle is just like an other normal hair dye. The smell of the dye was so potent and made my eyes water and nose burn. I felt the dye didn't go through my hair nicely and made it super knotty. It washed out nicely and didn't leave a mess, the conditioner was nice and had a good smell, the conditioner took out any tangles and I enjoyed using it. My biggest disappointment was how the colour turned out. I have never had a dye that has left my an uneven colour. After a dye has faded my ends are usually more faded than my roots and this is always fixed when putting a new colour in. To start with my hair was a medium-natural dark brown, I bought the chocolate brown and it made my roots a medium very golden brown and the ends a very dark chocolate colour. Neither colour was shown on the packet. It eventually faded and the colour in my ends of my hair was a perfect chocolate brown but still did not match my roots. I wouldn't say that it left my hair shiny, silky with no dryness for 8 weeks, it did leave my hair soft and shiny for the first few washes but then went back to normal. The price maybe great but I won't be purchasing this again.

Terrible! - Garnier nutrisse blonde aphrodite 9.0

This review is for garnier nutrisse blonde aphrodite 9.0. It Does not cover greys and the actual colour is much darker than indicated on the box! It's more like a medium blonde than the light one it implies. It also did not lift my dark roots at all. I've never had any trouble dying out my half black half white/grey roots before with any dye.. but this did nothing.. almost like a semi permanent. I definitely not recommend and only writing this to warn others off wasting their money. The only upside was their conditioner was good & smelled nice.

Garnier Nutrisse

I used this for ages (about 3 years?) because it was cheap, and I've never had my hair professionally dyed, so I guess I didn't really know much about it. I always founds my scalp would itch while it was on, and sometimes i would have sore, weeping patches for a couple of days after use (i know, that's terrible, and I should have just stopped using it, but i was scared to use anything different because i thought my hair might fall out!). I told the lady at my local Hardy's store and she put me onto organic hair dye, which i didn't react to, but it was REALLY expensive, and made my hair feel so weird and squeaky clean that it was near on impossible to brush after. After a while I switched to Live Oleo which is amazing. I would never go back to using this (i hate to write a review which is really just going on about how much better another product is, but I have to be honest!) with this, my skin hurt and my hair stunk of chemicals for days afterwards, it also didn't provide the same shine as the Oleo. As far as actually being a long lasting colour, it was fine, however it certainly didn't leave it feeling silky or looking shiney, if anything, a bit like straw! If you want soft, try Oleo. As for the skin reaction, maybe my skin just doesn't like the harshness, i guess, but the quality of my hair has improved greatly by using the Oleo and i haven't had any ithcy or sore scalp post home dye since I switched from this one.

Tips: This is a good, cheap starting point. it certainly does give good colour, and it's easy to apply.

Not Really A Fan

Im not really a fan of this hair dye at all. I've tried it a few times but It does not work on my hair that well.

It comes with detailed instructions which make application very easy. The gloves are quite good.

I apply Vaseline around my hairline, neck and face to avoid staining of my skin.

You need to use 2 packs of dye if you have longer than shoulder length hair or thick hair otherwise it wont cover all your hair.

The last few times I have used this it didn't really change my colour and when it did it only lasted for a few weeks.

I don't like the smell at all, Its very strong and potent.

I wont be using this again as it made my hair feel like straw after rinsing it out.

Garnier Nutrisse

I'm notorious for putting cheap hair dye in my hair and just grab whatever and still grab this product even though I need to leave it in much longer than the instructions indicate to get any colouring results. The upside of this product for me was that even though I have had the product in my hair with a shower cap on and had a nap with the product in, my hair did NOT turn to straw but my head was a bit stinky for a few hours afterwards - as to be expected. I was pretty impressed with the texture of my hair afterwards as it felt moisturised, probably not a good thing to do but it did seem like a win for a home colouring. This product is good for an emergency darkening but it's not really a candidate for serious colouring power.

Not on my hair

I’ve recently gone back to colouring my hair at home to save money. I have mousy brown hair with lots of grey coming through although I’ve been colouring my hair blonde since I was a teenager. I bought this dye because I really like Garnier products and it was only about $9 on special. Unfortunately as soon as I rinsed it out, my hair looked orange. I use a purple shampoo/conditioner and it normally helps settle any brassiness down after a few days but unfortunately it’s been a month and I’m still orange. The formula itself was fine and it certainly hasn’t dried my hair out but it’s a hard no from me. I have friends that use this brand and love it but they have dark hair and just use it to cover greys. It’s definitely covered mine so for that it may suit someone who is looking for that kind of product and not to lighten their hair.
