Firstly I love this product, right from the simply styled bottle to the deliciously silky feel of the oil itself. My hair is thick, curly and there is so much of it I have pretty healthy hair but in summer it tends to suffer from sun damage an in winter it is a little lifeless. Moroccanoil changed all this for me, it gave my hair an amazing shine and it wasn't greasy it helped calm the dry sun damage an gives it a bit of life in the winter, if I put it on after a shower it helped to bring my curls to life an not make it a frizzy mess. I love love love this product an find I go through a bottle too fast but its a small price for lovely hair. It smells divine with some lovely summery almost vanilla hint to it. Id recommend this to everyone.

Tips: Use sparingly place a tiny amount on palm of hands spread out through fingers an almost massage through your hair, starting from the tips at the back right through to the front.
A few years back my hair was very long and blonde. I Hadn't had it cut or even trimmed in years and the ends where starting to pay the price of my neglect. I was upset as I had always been blessed with silky, soft and healthy hair. I had heard a few good things about Moroccan oil so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and give it a go. I was not disappointed. It did not fix all my split ends and make my hair beautiful and healthy and back to how it used to be, but it did make my hair more manageable and give it a bit more shine. I found it made my hair easier to style as well. I love this product, however, I have had the same, if not better results using coconut oil which you can but for about $10 in the supermarket as opposed to the $70ish you pay for this product.Coconut oil has far more used than this as well. So all in all a very good product, but there are cheaper alternatives available.
I got given this by my aunt (a hairdresser) and my hair thanks me for it so much. I have dry, unmanagable curly hair, that looks akin to a lions mane. I use this when i straighten, and i do a lathering every couple of weeks on wetted hair, leave it in overnight, then shampoo out with a hydrating conditioner in the morning, and my hair is so soft now! It feels its best when it is half-dry, so soft and silky, and my curls are curlier and more defined with less frizz. I love this stuff, it is amazing and my hair just drinks it up!
I have a love/hate relationship with this hair oil. I like to use this on half dry hair just before during a blow dry. It leaves my hair feel smooth and silky with lots of shine! Now that being said the only negative I have about this product is that because my hair is so thin that whenever I use the morrocon oil, the next day I have to wash my hair because it becomes even more greasy. I think next time I will try the light version.
Tips: Leave in overnight and wash out in the morning for smooth, silky hair.
Love the SMELL of moroccan oil - its gorgeous! Product instantly made my hair shiny & looking great however the following day it would feel dirty & oily. I have dry hair (bleach blonde & thick) so normally after I straighten it I would use a hair shine or serum & it would be good for 2-3 days. I have to wash my hair the following day using Moroccan oil.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
I love this hair oil. It smells gorgeous and makes my hair smooth and silky. I apply mainly to my ends after towel drying or if I need to I will apply while dry. I tend to keep it away from my roots as it will make my hair oily quicker then normal.
I like that bit comes in a big bottle and with a pump. Makes it easy to apply as one squirt from the pump is a great amount to apply.
The price is what deters me. While I love it I can't always justify it. Mainly due to finding Hask Oil is just as good for a fraction of the price.
This is such an amazing product with a multi purpose use. Personally I use this twice a day every day religiously. I get severe excema and I find it absolutely amazing on my skin. I also leave in my hair over night before I wash my hair.
Tips: Excema sufferers use on skin!
Worked wonders on me, i have had permanent hair straightening, along with going 100% blonde and i have black hair. This product treated my hair really well, not 100% but definitely helped alot. this was over about 1 year of continuous use.
Tips: it doesn't happen overnight, use regularly on a long term basis
I've been using this stuff for about a year and I don't think I will ever stop using it! Holy grail item. It makes my hair smooth, shiny and calms the frizz! My hair is a wirey, tangly mess and this Moroccan oil helps so much! The amount of comments I get about the smell, look and feel of my hair the next few days after this is applied is unreal!
Tips: Usually you put this on after a shower when hair is towel dried or just before bed
I have bleached blonde hair so my ends are quite dry. Moroccan hair oil is a miracle product for my ends.
I got the 50ml bottle for about $30 off eBay as I couldn't bring myself to paying $45 for it in a normal retail store. The price is the only downfall of the product. I would like to use it everyday but since it is pricey I'm quite hesitant to do so.
It's not the best smell, but leaves my ends soft, manageable and looking healthier. A tiny bit does go a long way, I only use just under a 10cent coin size.
I apply it to my ends and work my way though my lengths but focus on the ends. I apply it to my hair after I've dried and straightened it.
Tips: Dupe: the dove miracle oil is just as good!
