L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime Reviews

I was super excited to get all of these amazing products to sample. They all come in very generous sized containers and will last awhile. Perfect amount of oil in each product, so you don't end up with an oily mess and is light weight like the packages state and smells divine with a fragrance that lasts the day. Made my hair look and feel amazing and I use the Beautifying Treatment daily to stop fizz and keep my hair looking fresh. When out shopping at New World and Pak N Save I noticed both stores stock there products making it super easy to restock when I need to at a great price.

I absolutely loved all of these products, they work well together and each product blew me away. They felt luxurious and expensive and I really felt like I was using a salon brand. Scent was nice and sizes of products were generous cannot speak more highly of this inexpensive amazing product line.

The smell of this is amazing, it's lighter coconut than some of the other products that are available through the coconut line, but still lush.

The bottles are huge, they have the normal flip top lids with a gel product that comes out and is easy to use and create a lather with. a Little bit of product definitely goes a long way, so you use a lot less too.

I couldn't believe how soft this made my hair feel after the first wash! I've always been skeptical of using new products as i know what works with my hair well, but occasionally I'll try something new.. this is most definitely my new holy grail.

Well there was no island holiday booked for me to escape the freezing winter....so instead I have just been having hot showers enjoying the beautiful fragrance of this range. It all has just a beautiful subtle sweet coconut fragrance. My first impressions of the range were the huge pack sizes. It is amazing value for money. The promise of the range is that it leaves you with nourished hair that is not weighed down with the product. I must say that that is what this range does. The shampoo left my hair feeling clean but not stripped of natural oils or moisture. The conditioner left my hair feeling smooth. The hair mask left my dry coarse hair feeling more softer and subtle. I was amazed by the hair oil, it gave my extra shine and of course extra fragrance! All in all a super haircare range that I would happily repurchase!

When used in combination I was happy with most of the products in this regime. With a few little niggles thrown in. Overall I loved the smell of all the products, but then I'm a bit of a nut for coconut so that was almost a given. I didn't find it overpowering though, which can sometimes happen with this kind of smell. Firstly starting with the shampoo it went on well, but didn't lather as much as I expected. I did however find that when I washed it out my hair felt quite squeaky, this was a concern given that I do have issues with dry hair. Next up was the conditioner, this product 100% made up for the shampoo squeak - it was rich, thick and creamy! I didn't have to use as much as normal because of this fact and my hair came out feeling amazing - even a few days post wash it was still awesome. The hair mask is probably the most disappointing of the products in the regime - I felt like it was trying to be too many things, even though initially I was really excited about it. I didn't think it was thick or moisturising enough for a post shampoo mask, but conversely was probably too heavy for a dry application, leave in treatment or pre-style addition. But that is just my personal opinion based on how my hair reacts to certain types of products and ease of dispersal through my hair. I did really love the hair oil component of the regime - initially I put too much in, but once I balanced that out it was great. A little certainly goes a long way and for its price I think it'd last quite a long time. Best part is my hair still looks lush and shiny, plus a little added to dry hair gives an extra bump of gloss!

I found these products worked great in combination. The shampoo focuses on your scalp with the conditioner working on the lengths and ends. My hair felt and looked clean, soft and shiny without looking oily. The mask added hydration and nourishment leaving my hair looking a lot healthier than it has. The oil tamed most of my fly aways and minimized the fluffiness I get when I brush it dry. I love the smell of all of these products and would happily pay full price. My hair is looking and feeling a lot healthier. Have even had comments on how nice my hair is looking. Have already recommended to family and friends.

Lets be honest, its always nice to trial a whole range. There's just something so satisfying about matching products on the vanity, or in the shower.

The packaging of the Elvive Coconut Oil range is lovely. Quite classy for a supermarket range!

The prices are reasonable - at $8 each the shampoo and conditioner are such great value. The oil's price surprised me...before I used it. After using it, I would have paid more for it, its that good.

As a range the products work well together - my hair is soft, shiny and feels so healthy. Which for a faux-blonde is pretty much living the dream!

If I had to drop one product it would be the mask - the conditioner was more than conditioning enough for me, and I felt the '1001 uses' was a bit of hyberbole!

Oh - and when used together - your hair will never stop smelling like sweet coconut oil. Its just delicious!
