L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle Review

I absolutely love this product. Firstly, it smells absolutely divine and the scent lingers all day long. I put it on after my conditioner, and it really has made a difference to my hair. I no longer need to use styling product; I can just dry my hair and go! I really like the packaging as it is easy to dispense and it looks quite expensive for the price. I found that even though it said that you don't need to leave it on your hair, I always had better results if I left it on for a minute. Overall, I really enjoyed this product

I have dry damaged bleached blonde hair so I thought this would be great for my poor hair - I was selected to be a part of the BR trial for this so was really looking forward to trying it. I have mixed feelings about this product as I have tried better.

I have used it almost everyday for about two weeks now and haven’t noticed much or any of a difference to my hair. I used it after my shampoo and conditioner. I found that it had a gorgeous scent much like the new Schwarzkopf range - it smelt expensive and nice.

The formula of the product was thicker than a conditioner but didn’t have the same texture as my other treatments I have used. I found that I needed to take most of the water out of my hair while still in the shower to make it work the best way as if I put it in my totally drenched hair it seemed to just come straight out. The texture in my hair was odd… I suppose I am use to more silicone based treatments as this one made my hair feel crunchy (weird huh).

I left it in for 60seconds the first few times I tried it then about 3-5minutes there after as I found this is the way it worked a bit better for me.

I don’t straighten my hair everyday and when I do straighten it I always use a treatment before I do and when I next wash it. So when I went to blow dry my hair after using this treatment I noticed my hair felt thicker and heavier it wasn’t as fluffy and soft as normal.. I learnt my mistake of putting it at my roots pretty quickly - even though that’s what it states on the bottle.

Overall the price is nice, the packaging is awesome love the detail on the packaging it doesn’t look cheap! I also love how it’s in a squeeze tube so you’re not wasting product. However I do wish it claimed to do all the things it suggests on the bottle. I will continue to use it and see how it improves if it does otherwise I will go back to by Wella SP Luxe Hair Mask.

L’Oreal have really stepped up their game with their products so I hope this hair mask continues to get better with use!

The product does what it says - Instant repair. From the very first use itself, it fixed my fizzy hair. The damaged look of my hair was gone. But after a 2 days, it made my hair sticky and oily and I had to shampoo again. I liked the product, its probably the first product that has helped me fix my damaged hair. What I liked in particular is that you need not wait for long time in the shower. You can wash it off immediately. First I was a bit doubtful if it will work or not as the instructions says that I can was it off immediately. But surprisingly it does work. Very very time saving. I will definitely use this again. Worth putting money on this one.

Was hesitant this product would not fix my damaged hair but was pleasantly surprised that after rinsing out my hair felt so much softer and healthier. It also had a nice fragrant smell to it,absorbs in really fast and left my hair alot easier to manage. I wouldn't call it a miracle as it didn't work 100% but it definitely did a fantastic job.Would recommend for others to try.

I am always a little hesitant with names like 'miracle treatment', for obvious reasons. I am not 100% sure if it's worthy of the title but I would probably purchase it again. The packaging was nice, had a lovely smell and the consistency was nice. It absorbs into your hair as opposed to sitting there and giving the effect it's doing nothing. It didn't fix my damaged hair but it did definitely improve the condition of it over the course of the review. I like the fact it works immediately so you don't need to wait a few minutes after already washing your hair.

Have since purchased more products from the Elvive range.

The packaging is a large tube with a flip lid. The cream inside smells nice and isn't too strong. You apply it after normal shampooing and it goes on well. It goes straight to work while smoothing it in it breaks down and works in to every part of my hair well. I liked the results. My was left feeling really smooth and healthy and looked really nice. My head did get a little itchy after using this product and I had to stop using it and the other Elvive shampoo I was using. Other than that I was really impressed.

I got this trial and was (naturally) ecstatic and excited, regardless of the fact that I really wasn't entirely sure what my product was supposed to do.

So when it arrived, I was happy to see that it wasn't some complicated cream that had to be applied to hair half towel dried-half dried in the sun only if it was at least 21 degrees with a slight nor west breeze.

The instructions were simple: apply to washed hair for 60 seconds, then rinse out.

Suspected must have been a joke.

Spoiler alert: it was not a joke.

So after lovingly washing my hair with some shampoo and conditioner that claims to do all sorts of magic to my faux blonde hair, I gave this new goo a go.

Firstly, it’s a nice light pinky/peach colour. Secondly, I could detect no scent. Thirdly, once thoroughly applied, there was nothing left for me to do but rinse out.

That, ladies and gen-other just ladies, is when I noticed it.

My hair was rinsing differently. Differently in a good way.

I gently brushed it lightly in preparation of the dreaded 40 minute blow dry that was coming up. The combing, in fact, went much smoother than usual.

Suspiciously, I continued on with my routine to then blow dry my hair. Having so much of it, I divide it in two and take turns to blow dry each section.

Warily, I noticed this too was easier – hair was not blowing around into teased, unmanageable knots.

And interestingly, it also cut down on my blow dry time (by about 10 minutes).

The real cherry on the top for me was then NOT having to put in some extra product after all this malarkey had been done. You know, to really sort things out for the next 2 days until I had to go through the whole process all over again.

I can honestly and without hesitation say that the next time I used this, it went exactly the same. While this is not my Perfect Hair Product, and there may never be one, this is 100% fabulous – it made my hair feel healthier and amazingly easier to manage too.

This will last many washes, and just look at that price up there? Are you kidding? No excuse not to try it and write your own review too. xo

The title is not really fair as I do really like this product, I'm just a bit sick of hype words that all beauty brands use. I have very long slightly lightened hair via the wild ombre kit that was reviewed a wee while ago, so my hair was in need of a little TLC.

The first time I used this product I was surprised at how it felt when I put it in my hair, I was expecting a creamy consistency similar to conditioner or other keratin products I have used but instead it seemed to "vanish" into my hair. I liked this as I felt like my hair was absorbing more of this than other product I have used which just coat the hair in oils. After I rinsed it out I couldn't notice anything immediately with the texture of my hair, but after air drying and straightening with a GHD (something I do rarely) I could really see an improvement. My hair was silkier and smoother and I needed a lot less serum afterwards.

Now I didn't notice an increased improvement with continued use, but my hair was very nice directly after use. I had a friend complaining about the condition of her hair after dying it so I bought her some miracle and it worked well for her as well she has very fine, mid length hair.

All in all I would recommend this product, it's a great temporary solution to damaged hair

After just one wash, this product left my hair feeling soft and healthy. I also really love the fragrance. The only downside is the size of the tube. I have really long hair so unfortunately I tube this size wouldn't last long if I were using it every day

L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle.. This is a great treatment product at a fantastic price, this stuff is really good at doing what it says it will. It smells divine, definitely absorbs into the hair shaft instantly & leaves hair looking and feeling healthier - although I found it quite hard to rinse out -my hair felt like there was residue left even after I had thoroughly rinsed it. So that meant I felt I had to rinse for longer than usual but it is only a small minus.. The fact it contains Ceramide + Pro-Keratin, penetrates & strengthens resulting in soft & shiny hair. I would definitely purchase this product again & totally recommend to friends. I am now very keen to try out the other products in the L'Oreal Total Repair 5 range.
