L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Instant Miracle Review

Upon receiving this I really didn't have any expectations for it. I thought that it would be just another run of the mill treatment that you get from the supermarket. But I'll admit I was wrong. The product suggests that it has an immediate transformation on the hair and that with use it will add 80% more resistance.

So when first using it I wasn't completely sure whether I should use a conditioner or not. So I replaced my conditioner with the treatment, as I didn't want to weigh down my hair with too much product. When I first put the product in my hair it was surprisingly light weight and thin.

The smell definitely reminded me of a salon. I left it in for very little time, as it does state that you should wash it out immediately. Upon rinsing I did notice that the usual amount of fall out was reduced, which was surprising. It did therefore work relatively quickly, like it claims! I found that when I brushed my hair there was also less fall out than usual. I used the product consistently over a week and I did notice less fall out and my hair did feel thicker/fuller. It left my hair shiny and my hair also certainly felt stronger.

Overall I was impressed with the end result, I would buy again, but only after I have tested many other treatments. I found that it did live up to it's claims and I will keep on using it until it's finished.

I will admit upfront that I am VERY minimal when it comes to hair products. I wash using a honey shampoo (ingredients: honey, water), and like the results that gets me. However, I am growing my hair out from a short pixie cut, and am keen to get any extra help I can to get out of the awkward stage I'm in right now with that process. So I was interested in how this product could do for me. What I found was that I think it did what it said it would do, which was make my hair feel stronger and less susceptible to breakage, but it did this by making my fine hair feel quite heavy and greasy, which wasn't a side effect I'm willing to live with.

I was really excited to try this. Reading the instructions I was unsure if I should use conditioner or use this as a conditioner. I really enjoy the smell reminds me of going to the hair dresser because it has a high quality product smell. The products itself was a lot runnier than expected, isn't as thick as a conditioner. It instantly makes your hair silky and great that you can wash it out straight away instead on standing around in the shower. After using it every 2 days for over a week I can't say that I noticed a difference in hair fall while in the shower because quite a lot of my hair falls out in the shower. But I have noticed that not as much is falling out when I blow dry so I am really impressed. It leaves your hair so soft and silky once dried it feels like using a treatment. I would recommend this to be tried especially since it's affordable and can be chucked in the trolly.

The first thing I did when I got this product was smell it, and O' goodie, it smells SO good. Immediately I thought this is going to be an awesome review. I've washed my hair and without putting conditioner on (it didn't say if you must use conditioner or not so I just left it out) I've put ELVIVE ARGININE RESIST INSTANT MIRACLE TREATMENT on. I wasn't very impressed at first because it didn't feel smooth like conditioner would when you put it on, it felt quite watery. I left it in for a few minutes, rinsed, and wowzers, it felt SO silky. I left my hair to dry naturally and it felt so soft and smooth. My hair is natural curly and normally very frizzy if I dry it naturally, but i just ran my fingers thru my hair a few times and the frizz has been tamed. My hair is very damaged after bleaching it for too long but this product is truly amazing. I would say it definitely strengthened my hair as my hair was very 'stretchy' when wet but now it feels a lot better.

The only downfall is I have to use quite a lot at a time to cover all my hair, so it would be great if it comes in a bigger tub for longer use ...at the same price ;)

I used it 5 times in the two weeks, and wash after wash it felt amazingly soft, silky, smooth and manageable. I will definitely buy this product again, as soon as it's finished ;)

I have had issues with my hair for a long time and I have always had concerns about how much hair is falling out. I was so excited to try this product to see if it would make a difference to my hair. The treatment came in an attractive bottle with a vibrant pink lid. This is perfect for the product as it matches the intoxicating fragrance. When I first used the product I was taken aback as to how delicious the smell was. The treatment is like conditioner and I found it easy to apply. The best thing for me was that there was no three minute leave in time which meant I was able to use the product often. After the first use, I was sold on this product. I immediately saw a 50% reduction in hair loss and over the trial my hair has gotten stronger and looks much healthier than it has in a long time. The price is an absolute steal and it is a very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

First impressions of the conditioner were great the packaging was pretty and functional with the lid being at the bottom so less wastage, it smells lovely and the smell actually stayed in my hair for a few hours afterwards too. The first few washes with this conditioner I didn't notice much of a difference with hair fall but after using it for about a week I have noticed less breakage and hair loss but not as much as I had hoped for. Over all I liked this product and I will probable use it again.

i was really excited to try this product but also sceptical. since having my daughter 18months ago my hair has fallen out like crazy. but after 3 weeks of using this product with the shampoo and conditioner I am impressed I still have hair fall but a huge amount less than usual. I love the fact that this product is so quick and can just be put in in the shower while u do everything else than washed out and hair feels amazing. the price you cant go wrong with and purchasing from the supermarket is always a win for me. overall im impressed with this entire range and plan to continue to use once I have finished this.

I was apprehensive trying this product, as with fine hair I find that many products designed for volume, fine/thin hair or anti-hair fall, can leave my hair feeling greasy and like I haven't rinsed the product out. I tried this product for about a week and stopped using my usual leave in treatment in order to see the full effects of this product.

I loved the packaging, bright, vibrant and fun. The smell was ok but it didn't wow me - I love delicious smelling hair products!

The first couple of days I used the treatment (I used it instead of conditioner) I found that I did in fact get greasy hair, particularly at the scalp. I decided to continue to see if it would improve and it did :)

I wash my hair everyday so I used this treatment everyday also. I think I did notice less hair fall, although it's hard to tell. My hair does feel smooth and nice, however no more than it would using conditioner. Maybe over a longer period of time I would notice more differences but for me it ultimately didn't feel different to conditioner :) However, at a price similar to a lot of conditioners in the supermarket, you're probably getting bang for your buck with this treatment.

It does leave my hair feeling nice but I won't be swapping my current treatment for this one.

I was so excited to be chosen for this review as my hair has not been the same since having my two children - it has thinned out so much from the thick gorgeous tresses I once had. After almost two weeks of using this product I have noticed a huge reduction in the amount of hair that I would lose while washing it in the shower (my husband can verify this as he always complains lol) I have also noticed my hair seems more hydrated as my curls are becoming more defined when they dry now (I don't use a hair dryer) and have received compliments on what a gorgeous shine my hair has now! I have to admit that I didn't really notice until it was mentioned to me as my hair is usually pulled back into a Mummy ponytail and I only have it "out" on special occasions! This is such a simple product to use, all that is required is to apply it to your wet hair after you wash it with shampoo and conditioner, then rinse it straight off! No waiting 3-5 minutes like other masks or serums. The fragrance is lovely, my son always tells me that my hair smells beautiful :)

I wasn't expecting a lot from this product to be honest. With an $8.99 RRP, I was thinking it wouldn't stand a chance compared to my $35 leave in conditioner...... well, I was mistaken.

The smell is nice - very light and isn't over powering or overly smelly (great for sensitive scalps I would say). The bottle is an easy use, and the product comes out easily.

It goes on easily in the shower (see notes below about not using too much) and makes your hair super silky and smooth. You can run your fingers through it easily - even if it was gym knotty before you got in.

I have used since I have been given the trial and... the result? There is definitely less hair fall, and my hair is shinier - people have started commenting on the fact my hair is smoother and easier to style (great side benefit!).

If you have a lot of hair fall or have recently had a life event meaning your hair is thinning I would definitely recommend.
