Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush - Purse Size Review

Upon receiving the Mita Detangling Brush Purse size, I noticed on the packaging it said 3D Design, Flexible Base, Mouldable Shape. I thought it seemed interesting. The design of the brush is actually pretty clever. It’s flexible and has a curved shape, I guess for better brushing.

I have been using this brush on my 6year Old daughter. She has beautiful long hair (almost butt length) but it constantly gets knotty. We have tried conditioner, coconut oil, silk pillow cases, other detangling brushes, and it’s still a battle to brush through he knots without her ending in tears.

I am pleased to report, we have had a week of tear free hair brushing, since we have been using the Mita 3D Detangling Brush. There have been some stubborn knots where it pulls and has hurt just a tiny bit. But all in all, my 6 year old no longer complains it hurts, and is no longer in tears. It makes getting ready for school in the morning a breeze, as brushing her hair is quick and pain free!

The way the brush is designed, helps it glide through the hair with ease. It is one clever Detangling Brush. Absolutely recommend. I think I’m even going to purchase the bigger size one. Absolutely amazing!

Yay, what a great product to try. I received the purse sized Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush and while it might be smaller in size it is big on usability. The brush is in a matt black with a curved head and a cool swirly design in the head which allows good airflow through the brush if using a hairdryer. The finish is smooth yet almost has a velvet-y feel (not furry at all) which seems to help with grip. When I first opened my parcel my 5 year old daughter was with me and proclaimed I had to try it on her first. With the first swipe through she declared this was "Awesome, and didn't hurt at all", I used it and had to agree. My daughter and I have very different types of hair, mine thin and fine and prone to knots and hers thick and full but also gets loads of tangles. It worked super well for both of us and is now our favourite brush to use despite not being a full sized brush. Wet brush was our favourite but this has been put on the back burner in favour of the TanglePro. Thanks for choosing me for the trial.

Was quite excited to review this brush as I'm a bit over my tangle teeze brush. Firstly when it arrived i was like woo funky looking 3d puzzle type brush but what got me was the great size and how light it is. It has a nice moulded fit into your hand and its correct with the claim its purse size cos it is. I decide to use it in the shower as I've got curly hair and my hairdresser advised me to comb or use a detangle brush to comb the conditioner through otherwise if i brush with a normal brush its going to make my hair frizzer. Anyway i use it in the shower and i was like nah this isn't working as it feels too gentle, its soft on my head and im not getting heaps of strands in the brush. How wrong was i!!! It was working just a lot gentler than the other tangle brush i have. Ive kept using it and what i love about it is that it is gentle its a good size and its not pulling out nearly as many hairs. Also it drys if i leave it in the shower unlike the other one which fills up with water and im sure is mouldy inside!! I was stoked to be selected for a trial team for this brush. I have fine, frizzy hair which tangles and breaks easily. Many brushes tend to cause unnecessary snapping of damaged ends, and I'm pleased to report that this is not one of them. I like it so much that I haven't even picked up my Tangle Teezer since the Mita TanglePro turned up!

The bristles are long, soft and bendy, which is great to avoid snagging in both wet and dry hair. I noticed significantly less hair fall out/hair left in brush using the Mita TanglePro 3D over my other brushes. The bendable bristles feel pleasantly massaging against your scalp. The best part for me is that my hair feels SO soft after brushing.

It's also compact and super lightweight, making it the perfect on the go, handbag brush (a necessity, when a windy day leaves me looking like I've crawled out of a well!).

Thanks Beauty Review for giving me the opportunity to try this brush out. I have to admit when it first arrived I didn’t hold out much hope that it would de tangle my hair but oh I was definitely wrong. It is a lightweight black plastic hair brush that looks like any other hair brush you might find at the pharmacy except that it has 2 large vents through the middle of it. The bristles are quite flexible so I’m not sure how it would work on really thick hair. I have very thin hair and this brush just glided through my hair just like a more expensive tangle brush would. It has a contoured shape which almost massages the scalp at the same time as brushing and works beautifully on wet and dry hair. My favourite thing about this brush is how easy it is to clean because of the vents. I hate loose hair in my brushes but never managed to get all the hair out after each use until I received this one. It literally just comes out of the brush with one hand so it looks clean after every use. This is my new favourite hair tool and would definitely recommend to anyone with finer or less thick hair. I would have given it 5 stars in each category but because it is more of a travel brush it may not be big enough for someone with a lot of hair. I am a big fan of Mita’s original TanglePro brush, so I was excited to have the opportunity to trial their new 3D purse-sized edition.

This brush is made of soft black plastic, with a hollowed-out spiral design on the head. The brush is very light to hold, and the handle is smooth. The head is curved to fit your scalp. The bristles are made of a soft, flexible plastic, and are 2cm long. The brush itself is about 17cm, so not small for a purse size, but still nice and compact.

The bristles are long, but quite far apart, so they glide easily through the hair. They are also easy to clean. My hair is fine, but there is a lot of it, so I like to use a detangling brush to get rid of any large knots. This brush does this well, while giving the scalp a nice massage with the bristles.

Although the original TanglePro will always be my favourite, this brush is a great alternative for when you are on the go and need something smaller for your purse.

I am so glad I was selected for the Mita TanglePro 3D Detangling Brush - Purse Size review team. I often get a lot of knots in my hair after washing it and always feel guilty for brushing it when wet as I know I'm causing breakage and damage to my hair. However with this product I felt there was a reduction in the damage I was doing to my hair as it seemed to glide through my hair a lot easier making it more manageable to brush when wet. It also did wonders for my toddler's curly unruly hair, making it easier and quicker to brush. A huge bonus when you usually have to chase them around the house with a hairbrush, trying to get their hair to look nice before going out.

Blown away ... that is all I keep saying over and over! Usually I wash my hair, let it dry naturally and then watch it go POOF with extreme frizz. I can't be seen like that so my hair is constantly being straightened. How surprised was I to not need or want to bust out the straighteners for the first time in over 15 years. This brush claims to reduce hair breakage but for my hair it did so much more!... My hair didn't become poofy and frizzy once dry and looked so good I didn't need to straighten it. My hair felt unbelievably soft and looked like I had lots of very healthy, shiny hair. After a week of using it daily my hair looked like it had grown considerably. Maybe that is due to not losing as much hair, my hair not breaking and my scalp being massaged and stimulated daily. What little hair did end up in the brush was so easy to remove thanks to its special design. It may be purse size but for me it felt like the perfect sized brush and it fit so nicely in my hand and my hand didnt slip on the handle. I started brushing my hair a few times a day as it felt like a wonderful scalp massage with every stroke. I didn't have to start brushing at the ends of my hair which I usually do ... I was able to start at the roots and brush all the way through with no pulling or fighting. It felt like it moved easily and gently through my hair no matter it's state at the time. How can all this happen with one little brush? I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to test and review this brush and I am going to continue using it every day because I really am blown away and so happy! My hair has never looked or felt better thanks to this amazing wee brush.

I was really happy to trial this 3D Detangling Brush as I have thick hair and 2 girls who's hair is always a drama to brush. I think it's the perfect size and shape and easy to keep in my handbag. So we tried it on both wet and dry hair and we think its fabulous, it goes though the knots quite easily and they actually come out faster than a normal brush, and leaves our hair feeling real nice. I use it as my everyday brush now and it's been great and for my daughters, definitely does what it says as I've tired other brands that haven't helped. Will definitely be recommending this product.

Was looking forward to giving this a go. My 4 year old acts like she is being murdered every time I approach with a brush in hand.

It arrived and I was surprised at how light it was. It’s small enough to fit in your bag and being so light won’t weigh your bag down. It has a spiral shaped base with ‘air vents’. The inner bits of the spiral bend. I suppose so they move with the shape of your scalp!?

I told my girl that this was a new brush and would t hurt. The first stroke had her screaming. (Now I’m not a monster - I am gentle!). She has fine hair but ALOT of it. And it can tangle easily. It felt flimsy in her hair and I don’t think it made brushing her hair any easier. I was a bit disappointed.
