Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Straightening Brush

I love that it is cordless and rechargeable. It comes in very handy and also when you are in a hurry and don't have time to use a proper hair straightener. The ionic technology helps reduce static and frizz so the hair is less frizzy after using it. Also it is great that it has 5 heat settings so it is suitable for different type of hair thickness. I have been using 160 degrees and it keeps my hair straight and 120 degrees on my short fringe is good enough too. Overall am loving this product! Perfect for travelling too.

This is so much better than I expected! It comes in a handy little velvet bag, it is a great size so fits easily in a handbag, but not too small to effectively straighten any hair type. It is rechargeable using a USB cord and has 3 settings depending on your hair type. The sleek black design makes it easy to hold with anti friz bristles that are perfectly spaced so they glide through the hair whilst smoothing out any kinks. This brush is amazing for the size and price, it works just as well on my damaged, fine hair as it does on my daughter's thick, long hair. A+ and highly recommended from me!!

Wow. I was super lucky to get to trial this product and I wasnt disappointed. The box is stylish and well packed. There isnt lots of plastic which is always a plus. The brush comes with a soft little pouch to keep it in and simple instructions. Charged for 3 hours, which the same little charger as most things have now days which is awesome. Now the brush.. I have long thin which is usually straight but always has a kink or frizz that needs addressing. It has different heat settings for the condition of your hair. It heats up super fast and brushed through my hair so nice. No tangles. Definitely straightened my hair, and made it feel super soft. Not the cooked feeling after sometimes using a straighter. With the little pouch, it's super handy to be able to put it in my handbag and use as needed! I would love to know how it works on thicker hair so I will try on many different hair types and update my review :) (Running out of time to review)

Sooo first off I had my hair in a plaits.. as you can imagine very curly! Hairs every where. So I gave it a day. Still very curly and put this through and it made it into more of a wave which looked amazing! It made the stray aways straight and manageable!! I couldn’t believe it. How good. Then next day was able to make it even more straight! I love the fact that it doesn’t have a chunky cord. That was my favourite feature and also the fact it can literally be put in my hand bag.

I didn’t burn my self either as you can put the temp up high or low.

Overall the price is good and would be amazing as a gift. I would definitely buy another one. A+++

I have been wanting a portable straightening brush for so long so was stoked to be picked to review. The Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Straightening Brush is quite sleek and small so easily fits in a handbag on the go, but don't let the size fool you! So handy how it has a USB charger so can literally charge it anywhere.

After following the guide to set the temp to 120-140 for blonde/fine hair I gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. It made my hair quite smooth and defrizzed, not quite the same dead straight hair I would get from a normal straightener but definitely still straight and pretty close. The bonus also being a brush and straightener all in one so need to have to carry a brush as well, there is also lower risk of getting hands burnt touching the straightener as the straightening plates sit in the inside bristles.

This is definitely a game changer, now I can fix my hair from my car before heading into the office so everyday can be a good hair day. Love!

I don't often use a straighter because I never have the time to do it but I was so excited to try out this brush. I'll admit i didnt even know there was such a thing as a straightening brush. I thought this was awesome! Super convenient size and the fact that it's rechargeable is even better. It heated up really quickly and worked wonders on the frizzy bits. My hair is wavy so can become frizzy so easily! My sister has straighter hair than I do and also really enjoyed using it. Perfect for those like me that are a bit slack with doing their hair in the morning!!

I was surprisingly impressed with the results this straightening brush could give! I'd never really heard of a straightening brush before receiving this, so it was a new concept for me.

It's not going to give you super straight hair like you can achieve with proper hair straighteners, but it sure did tidy up my wavy hair and made easy work of straightening out the annoying bump line I get in my hair when I've had it tied up for a long time.

Pros: - has 5 heat settings to choose from (120°C/140°C/160°C/180°C/200°C) - heats up/ready to use within ~30 seconds - a lot easier to hold & use than regular straightening irons when doing both sides of your own hair - I didn't burn myself even ONCE! (I have a long history of accidentally burning fingers/scalp with hair irons) - it's lightweight, I think it even weighs less than my phone - it's wireless and compact, meaning I can throw it in my work bag and fix my hair before leaving work

Cons: I couldn't really think of any downsides to this brush. There's only really one feature I did wish it had, an ability to lock it from being accidentally turned on. If for whatever reason something pressed on the on/off button while it's in my handbag or work bag and I didn't notice, I'd hate to know what damage that would do to anything in my bag...

This definitely makes life 10x easier, it states that it styles on the go and that it fights frizz and I would say that is absolutely correct, the only problem I encountered is that the brush is the exact same length as my handbag, I am not a large handbag woman so I did find the 'on the go styling' to be not as convenient as I was expecting, however, it still made my life so much easier and saved me so much time. The packaging is very sleek and the brush itself is velvety smooth and surprisingly light, the combination of black and rose gold is very elegant. It comes with a little velvet storage bag which I found super helpful to protect the bristles but also to hold onto as I couldn't fit the brush itself into my handbag. Before you start, you need to charge it for three hours straight, which was fine as I put it on charge before I went to work and it was ready to go when I got home, it's then very simple to use, you basically do the same thing you would when straightening your hair with a flat iron you just divide your hair into sections, then you just slowly brush your hair. I found using the hairbrush to do the initial straighten of my hair pretty good, my hair was certainly smoother and less frizzy, and it also had more shine, however, the very ends of my hair didn't really straighten, and I was left with a strange half straight, half curly look. In saying that, using the straightening brush on the go after I had already straightened my hair with my usual flat iron was a dream, it was super handy to take everywhere with me, it would have been handier if I could have put it in my handbag, but it was still easy enough to just carry around with me and either leave on my desk at work or in the car during trips. It meant I was always able to have quick little touch-ups throughout the day and didn't look like a hot mess after being out in the wind. I also found that even though it was able to leave my hair shiny, I didn’t end up with greasy or oily hair, which can happen with some flat irons. It's super easy to use, you just press and hold the power button and then use the larger button to select your desired temperature, the brush heats up quite quickly but isn't so hot that you will burn yourself, I was able to have it on the hottest setting and still wrap my hand around it and hold it without any discomfort whatsoever, this is great for when you are in a hurry because you don't need to wait for it to cool down before grabbing it and going. As much as I didn't find the brush to be better at doing the initial straighten of my hair, I did find it beneficial to quickly run over my hair with after I had used my flat iron as the brush was able to get in and straighten the roots of my hair that are generally missed by the bulky plates of a flat iron. Overall, I would absolutely recommend adding this to your beauty arsenal if not for the less fizz and extra shine factor, then certainly for the convenience and portability factor.
