L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

I used this in partnership with the ELVIVE shampoo. I like this product - nice fragrance and quite concentrated - I feel I don't need to use lots to get the result. In my shampoo review I have commented that these products really do seem to work (I must admit I was a sceptic), My hair does feel fuller and thicker after using these products! Thankyou very much for letting me trial this! I loved the shampoo! And the conditioner- can I just say the smell is so amazing! It stays in your hair all day long so keep in mind you will be getting good compliments about how your hair smells that day! My hair feels so silky and smooth and frizz free it's great! The conditioner looks average- nothing special which I like but feels very moisturizing when applying to your hair. I leave mine in for 3-5 minutes and when I wash it out it feels like it has actually done it's job of conditioning my hair. It claims to thicken your hair and I have the finest hair ever- so I am excited to see what happens after a few more uses! I am fussy with hair products but these are my new holy grail :)

My hair is visibly thicker with each shampoo and conditioner, which is such a big deal for me, as for years I have plastered all sorts of promised products through it trying to create a fuller and thicker look. This is a lovely finish after shampooing with its thickening shampoo partner. Hair is easy to style and responds well to a good blast from the hair dryer. All in all, it gives a great look - I love puffed up hair, and now I have it.

So like most things you get the duo and I realy like the shampoo so this was a let down...it just feels like a normal conditioner, I think the shampoo is doing all the work here. Still smells good but if your hair is needing the extra thickness usually you have thin dry weak hair, like me, and this isn't giving my hair the nourishment it needs, I had to invest in a quick leave in conditioner as well, so the whole pees and carrots didn't work on this duo. Would not use this if needing the nourishment after a shampoo

Less of a subtle smell than the shampoo but I found it made my hair very greasy and it turned in to an oil slick within hours.

This conditioner was so promising and I had hoped it would live up to its name. While it did - my hair is thicker than before - I found it was simply not suitable for my hair type. I have very fine, yet thick, and thin hair (weird combo). My issue is this conditioner made my hair visibly oily after 1 day of use and continued to do so. It got to the point I couldn't use it anymore. I would recommend this for people who are not prone to oily hair or have hair that can withstand heavier product but not for those that have fine hair.

The conditioner consistency is suprisingly thick, which I actually really like and was a refreshing change.

I find many ‘volume’ ranges have a thin watery consistency to keep the weight of the product down. However this usually means I have to use wayyy more product & my hair will still be matted/tangled & hard to comb. Not so with this one – a little goes a long way, moisturises well, & leaves my hair easy to comb.

The smell is nice. I prefer the smell of the shampoo but there is nothing wrong with it. Again, I loved the bottle shape & colour design – it fits nicely between other items in my shower rack & doesn’t hog shower space.

After drying it leaves my hair super soft, smooth, shiny and hydrated ...but not greasy. I can’t say it made my hair feel thick or look really volumous, but I am actually ok with that if it looks nice and isn’t greasy.

It is one of the better supermarket ranges I have tried and nicer than a few higher end ones too.

Would repurchase the shampoo and conditioner in future.

I loved the consistency of this conditioner. It was nice and thick and distributed through my hair really well. It left my hair feeling very smooth and voluminous whilst it was wet and when it had completely dried (which seemed to take longer than when I dried after using normal shampoo) I noticed that my hair had a lot more volume and bounce to it. Not too mention how shiny and soft my hair looked :) the only complaint I have is that although I made sure to wash out all my conditioner, after it had dried, my hair still felt as though the conditioner had not washed out properly. May be my own fault though.

I used this with the Fibralogy shampoo and was surprised that together, they gave my hair quite a lot more volume but as for thickening, i didn't notice much difference. The formula is really thick so it means that you'd go through double the normal amount of conditioner. Smells amazing and its a convenient sized bottle too!
