arginine resist conditioner

This is my new favorite conditioner. Love the packaging as the upside down design of the bottle allows you to get the product out easy.there is good information and instructions of on the back.i love the smell which is very subtle and the rich formula that does only good to hair by adding in enough moisture.it is not heavy at all which I like.although I used a lot of it.for 1 bottle of shampoo I use 3 bottles of conditioner.overall I am very impressed. Did it do what it promised? ?? Not as much as it claims.i have been loosing a lot of hair lately due to hormonal changes which may not be totally dependant on a shampoo and conditioner alone. But I have noticed 40 to 50 percent reduction in hair fall.overall, I am very impressed and happy with this product. It will be My new must have in the bathroom. Not only for hair fall but to moisturize and frizz control.

Affordable conditioner

I didn't find the conditioner much different from other conditioners I've used but it does have a nice smell & left my hair feeling soft & shiny. Although it says it's supposed to reduce hair fall, when washing my hair there seemed to be the same amount of hair fall but I did notice there wasn't as much hair fall in between washes. I was washing my hair every 2nd day. It is quite an affordable price and I would use it again.

Quite Surprised

I used the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo and Conditioner from the day I received it to now and I was VERY surprised. I don't expect much from supermarket hair products. I have quite a lot of hair and so first I was pleasantly surprised that you don't need much in the hand to get good coverage from the conditioner. This means that a relatively small bottle of product lasts quite a good length of time. When used as directed and massaged into the mid lengths to ends (but also applied to roots) it gave my wet hair a fantastically silky feel. After use of both the shampoo and conditioner I found my hair felt really silky and soft and also smelt AMAZING. Smell lasted all day too! After the first few conditions I noticed a difference in the amount of hair fall, but still some hair breakage. Now that I have finished the trial I have significantly less hair fall and breakage. I actually have very impressive photos of my hair brush before and after!

Tips: It was recommended to me by my hairdresser that you comb through your conditioner, so I did do this after application to mid lengths and ends. Means you get great coverage.

L'Oreal Elvive Arginine Resist Conditioner

I received this product free from Beauty Review at the end of July, and have been using it most days since, after the matching shampoo. While it did a decent job, I'm not convinced that it did what it was supposed to in terms of preventing hair fall, and in my case it caused a greater problem than it attempted to solve. Firstly, as it's own instruction say, it should be applied only to the lengths and ends of the hair. So it goes nowhere near the roots of the hair, and therefore it can't have any effect on the nourishment of the bulb. So it's ability to prevent hair fall, if used according to the instructions, is nil. Secondly, I found that you cannot use this conditioner and any styling product afterwards, it just makes your hair stringy and greasy by the middle of the afternoon. While the conditioner itself doesn't leave hair oily, it doesn't play well with other products. As with the shampoo, the product is good at detangling hair, and that's a useful quality, but it doesn't make up for its deficiencies in manageability. As I said in my shampoo review, the colour and design of the bottle is pretty unattractive. In this case, it also opens from the bottom, which I found problematic as it got a bit messy on the shelf.

Tips: As a detangling conditioner, this would be quite handy, but only if you don't intend to style afterwards.

Ok product

I've used this conditioner along with the shampoo for 3 weeks (washing my hair 3 times a week). Together with the shampoo I haven't seen any visible difference in terms of less hair loss. But overall it seems to perform like any other conditioner: makes my hair soft and smells good.

L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner

At first I was a little sceptical about this product. I received both the shampoo and conditioner for the trial from BR. When I was my hair I have always had enough hair fall out to almost make a wig. My mum always used to joke that it is a wonder that I'm not bald already! Quite possibly the best part about having thick, but straight hair, there's enough to go around. It smelt pretty good, as the L'Oréal brands do, so that was a bonus. The conditioner was pretty thick ad creamy, which surprised me as some supermarket brands I've use din the past have been rather watered down in comparison. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week depending on how the week goes, so it took a good two weeks before I noticed any results. By the second-third wash I was admittedly a bit disappointed as I was expecting results, however by the fourth wash, BAM! I found close to half the amount of hair that usually came out while washing it was falling! (Even my boyfriend was a bit surprised by the size of my 'hair ball'). The combination of the shampoo and conditioner did not leave my hair feeling greasy. I would recommend this product, but expect results to take it's time to show. I would recommend this as a decent supermarket branded conditioner.

Tips: Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes after application to get your hair feeling silky smooth!!

Great for long hair!

The MAIN thing that I look for in a conditioner is the consistency. I know I said this about the shampoo (if you read my other review too - things may be repeated) however, my hair is so long that consistency is really important! If it's runny or watery then it just doesn't massage well into my hair and a lot of product gets wasted. I find myself buying different conditioners to shampoos because the range of shampoos I like - their conditioners suck! Luckily though - in this range, the conditioner AND shampoo are both awesome!

This conditioner is nice and thick and is easily massaged into my hair. It's a lovely creamy texture and it smells gorgeous.

The bottle is small though and it's fairly expensive considering how much you get and I use ALOT of conditioner on my hair as it is very long so that's not really ideal for me personally. If you had shorter hair you'd be fine!

As for the claims it makes about stopping your hair from falling out... it's tough to gauge if it's actually making a difference. Probably, it's not as I never really see a difference from supermarket conditioner claims, but it's okay because other than that it's a great conditioner!

It makes my hair feel nice and all that jazz and I'd recommend it to people with both long and short hair. However if your hair is long - then get it on special! I have been using it for a week and a half every second day and it's nearly run out!

Tips: Start around the mid sections and massage down to the ends. I like to use my tangle teezer to comb the shampoo through my ends - that way it gets through all the hair!

Doesn't live up to claims

I’ll admit I was skeptical about the claim of reduction in hair fall. Who wouldn’t be? This is a supermarket brand conditioner after all. Unfortunately, this conditioner doesn’t live up to the hype. After suffering with significant hair fall over the past 3 or 4 years, it was going to take a miracle product and this conditioner just isn’t it.

The packaging is terrific. Black, silver and hot pink will really stand out against the plethora of white bottles on shelf. The scent, like the shampoo, is very pleasant. After applying the conditioner, I'd leave it on for at least a minute. I tend to get greasy hair very quickly, so I make sure to only coat the ends and never apply to the roots or my scalp. I’ve been using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo for 3 weeks now. The combined effect is really good. Very smooth, soft hair with no greasy build-up and uber easy to style after. BUT, sadly no noticeable reduction in hair fall.

Once again, I’d say this is a great conditioner for general use, but if you are buying it purely because of it’s claims, you will be disappointed.

Tips: See my review of the matching shampoo

Nice decent conditioner

This smells amazing, and as my hair gets oily fast and I only wash it ever 3 days I was worried that it would be too heavy/oily for my hair as it is a thick creamy texture. No need to be worried, rinses out great and makes my hair soft and shiny! Will be repurchasing!!

arginine resist conditioner

I rated it a 1 for "use again" because I didn't find it overly fantastic. It left a residue which I really hate in conditioners. - Ie after blow drying my hair it looked oily. I also noticed a very strong "chemical" type smell when I used it which would put me off buying it again however the general perfume of it is nice. I rated it a 3 for "did it do what it said" - I do feel I had less hair fall however and will be interested to see the results by the end of the bottle. I didn't feel particularly nourished at the root but definitely felt oily. I rated it a 2 for recommending to a friend.. I would only do so if a friend mentioned hair fall.
