L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner Review

I have been using this in conjunction with the matching shampoo. I love what it has done for my hair. I have been using it daily for the past week and my hair has gone from being dry and brittle to soft, silky, shiny and much easier to style. It has greatly reduced the amount of hair gathering in my brush and in the shower drain. I have not been applying to the roots, only the ends as specified in the instructions, this has worked well on my normally dry hair. I really love this shampoo and conditioner combination, its like salon hair but at home and much cheaper

I was lucky enough to get to trial this conditioner with the Arginine Resist Shampoo. I didn't really like the shampoo and I do think that this conditioner made the experience a bit more bearable. I was very interested to try this range to see if it would reduce hair fallout, and it has. The conditioner has the same fruity smell as the shampoo and the same nice bottle. The shampoo left me with extremely dry hair and this conditioner works wonders to fix that flaw.

I have been using this conditioner with the Arginine Resist shampoo. This conditioner really works with the hair to bring a bit of moisture back. (Not all, just a tiny bit). Since the shampoo left my hair really matted I thought the conditioner would help untangle my hair, I was wrong. It did untangle it a little bit, but not very much. I'm highly disappointed in this conditioner and this range. It is an ok conditioner but it doesn't have many benefits unfortunately. Basically its the same unfortunate experience as the shampoo and I share the same view on both products.

Overall I would not try this again, I hope no one else had a similar experience as I have had. I felt very let down in this conditioner. I was hoping at least it would fix the things that the shampoo messed up! In my opinion I think it was a fantastic Ideal that Loreal came up with a hair product that reduces hair fall out. They perfected that aspect of it, however I think the formula needs a tweak to balance all aspects of it out. If they perfected this shampoo then I would 100% use it again.

I unfortunately did not find this product anything amazing. The scent of this does nothing for me and is not a smell I like which was a bit of a shame as I really like my hair to smell good (who doesn't?).

I find this a lot better than the matching Shampoo but still don't love it. I found it did really re-hydrate my hair after using the matching Shampoo but once again it produced only standard results. I found the softness and shine of my hair was not dramatically increased and once my hair was dry it didn't feel as conditioned. To me this is just another standard Supermarket conditioner, nothing terrible but nothing amazing either and certainly not the best.

In terms of its claims to reduce fall-out and breakage of the hair I can't say I found that to be true. After going through a bottle of this product (and it's matching Shampoo) I haven't noticed any difference in the amount of hair falling out, but isn't something I purchased it specifically for (I was more interested in strengthening the entire follicle of hair to reduce breakage).

Overall, this is not something I would repurchase or recommend, but in saying that wouldn't hate to use again either.

I'm really fussy with conditioners as they never seem to leave my hair smooth, but this conditioner did. I used with matching shampoo and it did a really good job, one thing I liked is that I didn't need to use heaps which I normally do with other products. I feel it definitely helped the hair fallout, of which I have had a problem with especially since having my daughter. It appears to have strengthened my hair slightly and made it smoother and softer. I do like this product and I would buy it

I have been using this conditioner for just over 2 weeks with the shampoo from the same range. I really liked the black and hot pink packaging , it really stands out and clearly states what the product is. I also really liked the scent of this conditioner , it did keep my hair smelling nice after using it. The bottle tells you to focus on the lengths and tips which is exactly what i did , after washing it out of my hair it feels smooth and non drying. I have thick wavy/curly hair that can get a bit out of control and this conditioner i felt even though it was nice it wasn't the best i have tried, i wouldn't jump up and down and go out and buy it as soon as im done. I would probably buy it if it was on special but other wise it didn't make my hair fall out less. I really wanted to love this! im going to use it till it has finished and if i see any changes i will defiantly add it to my review! Even though i have used it for the last few weeks i feel like i have hardly used any ! so you defiantly get your moneys worth ! i would still recommend it to a friend as everyone has different hair and you never know it might work for them :)

I’m always on the look out for a great cheap conditioner, because I use HEAPS with my long, thick hair. Unfortunately this wasn’t the answer to my conditioner prayers. The first time I used it, I thought ‘great’!. The smell is lovely, like fruit salad. Hair felt soft in the shower. Great thickness so it doesn’t slip out of my hand and down the drain. This is where the positives end though, because within days my hair ended up extremely dry. My curls clumped together like dreads and I had lots of fly-aways. I didn’t notice decrease in hair fall, nor did my hair feel stronger.

I continued to use the product until empty to give it a fair chance and have been rewarded with awful dandruff (Though I believe this is the shampoo, of which I have also reviewed).

Overall, not the one for me however I will try others in the range due to the cheap price.

I really disliked this conditioner. I lose a lot of hair, always have (mostly because I have a lot!) I have a pet hair vacuum cleaner and no pets!! This product reminded me that hair regenerates, it's meant to shed! I used the shampoo and conditioner together. It felt as though I'd washed my hair in oil. I liked the frizz free effect at first, my hair was very smooth: but oily smooth, not soft smooth. I went from washing my hair weekly to every second day just to stay fresh. And I didn't notice any reduction in hair fall. Possibly a bit less on the clothes but more in the shower!

I purchased this product to complement the shampoo which I bought from countdown after reading it helps to reduce hair fall. It comes in the same classy red and black bottle as the shampoo and is eye catching. The conditioner itself is a very rich white cream and feels very nice in the hand as well as in the hair. It makes my hair feel very soft, nourished and hydrated. I think it is very economical for a great conditioner. Initially I wasn't so impressed but have come to like it very much after using it for a long period, and I love the subtle aroma. I'm not sure if it reduced hair fall (as I started medication around the same time) , but as my hair is softer and more hydrated now, I'm sure it does help. I recommend it as a great softening and hydrating conditioner to anyone with dry hair.

I have been privledged to use both the ELVIVE arginine shampoo and conditioner for the last few days and I absolutely love these products. Instantly I could notice a difference in the condition of my hair, it felt amazing after first using the shsmpoo and conditioner and I did notice a slight improvement in hairfall but not too great but packaging does suggest that results seen after a couple of weeks so I look forward to continuing to use these products

I love this. I've been using this product in conjunction with the shampoo and it is honestly amazing. It smells divine, and it has seriously reduced the amount of hair fall and breakage that I normally experience. I would recommend this to anyone that will listen, it is seriously amazing. My hair is now soft, nourished, manageable and super strong.
