Linden Leaves Rosemary and Cypress Shampoo and Balm Mint and Tangerine conditioner

The shampoo is really mild yet does its job. I adore the conditioner, it smells amazing. My hair feels really soft and I don't have to use any other products.

As my first products to test for Beauty Review I got to try out the Linden Leaves rosemary and cypress shampoo and balm mint and tangerine conditioner.

These come in 270 ml bottles which sit nicely in my shower caddy. Both products are a good consistency that come easily out of the bottle and both work well with my hair, which is very thick and wavy. I also gave some to a friend who has very fine hair and washes daily with no or very occasional conditioner. The shampoo was great for adding body to her hair while still leaving it soft and shiny!

However both of us found the rosemary smell of the shampoo a little overpowering and inclined to remind us of a household disinfectant.

But the smell of the conditioner is just wonderful! – a very refreshing tangy mint unlike any other fragrance I have experienced with a hair product before. The shampoo contains a number of beneficial plant oils of avocado, rosehip, coconut and rosemary and burdock root extract, while the conditioner contains oils of balm mint and tangerine along with some conventional quats for hair conditioning. The bottles could be confused in the shower though the fragrances of the two products do make them distinguishable. However the addition of different coloured tops might make it easier for the smell impaired. Overall I thought that these are nice products and now having used them for a few weeks I am convinced! I love being able to wash may hair and have the lovely smell of the conditioner pervading the shower. Just bought my first set from the website. Thanks Linden Leaves!

This shampoo and conditioner smells amazing and had a very calming effect on me. I was very surprised at how little i really needed to use each wash which, for me, would more than justify spending the rather hefty price that it retails for. My hair glowed after using, it smelled so fresh and was smooth and silky. My scalp (which has been known to react to some brands) felt fine. I was very, very happy with this product and i will not hesitate in recommending it to family and friends.

I was lucky to purchase these from the first ever BR beauty vault sale. I am extremely impressed they not only smell divine they leave my hair so soft & pleasantly scented, smooth & glossy. It has also helped with my dry itchy scalp - an issue I don't normally have but I developed over the hot summer.My hair is easy to style & I can go for quite a few days between washes. Linden Leaves is one of my favourite brands & this is a great product

I got these from my sister about a week ago. They look great and are cruelty free and everything. The shampoo had a sort of globby consistency and didn't work up much of a lather. I could feel it in my hair though, and smell rosemary all around and it does get my hair clean. The conditioner smells only slightly orangey, and not much like mint. I find it very moisturising and come away from every wash with shiny and fresh rosemary-smelling hair.

I applied the Shampoo and let it sit for 3 minutes. The aroma of the rosemary was present from when I first applied. Then applied the conditioner and let it sit for 3 minutes. The consistency of the conditioner is quite thick and the smell of the tangerine is AMAZING! Because I haven't used it everyday (didn't want to wash my straightened hair) I am yet to see the exact results of what it should do. I could still smell the fragrance throughout the whole day. Used it on my kids and my daughter loved the smell also. Even friends commented on the smell of my hair. I would expect great results from it if used over a long period of time.

Condition of my hair: As my hair is blonde its a constant battle for me to keep hydrated. My hair condition is definitely dry.

The main things I look for in a shampoo is that it is natural and Sulfate & Paraben Free so instantly I liked this brand.

Rosemary & Cypress SHAMPOO: I found the smell of this shampoo very over powering. A wee bit to strong for my liking. Sort of smelt like cleaning products. It did however clean my hair thoroughly and leave it feeling fresh.

Balm mint & tangerine CONDITIONER: I absolutely LOVED this conditioner, it smelt amazing and definitely done my hair justice! It had a great thick consistency.

OVERALL my hair felt amazing after using these two products. They done exactly what they said they'd do on the packaging and it was a great feeling knowing how natural they were.

The one thing which stops me from purchasing this product is the price. Prior to trialing this brand I use KEUNE- So Pure range. I truly find this brand amazing and will continue to use it because of the quality and price.

The fragrance was refreshing and uplifting, great for the mornings to wake you up. The shampoo is a low foam product, and the conditioner is quite a light texture. My hair dried nicely after washing, with minimal frizz and lots of shine. Found that I needed to use quite a bit of the conditioner as my hair is longer, and it felt a bit drier than what I'm use to with more flyaways the next day. Overall I thought this was a lovely range of natural products that did exactly what it said it was going to do and bonus that it has no harsh chemicals :)

I loved the way the shampoo lathered nicely, and once washed out it didn't feel as though my hair was stripped of everything. Can't say I'm a big fan of the smell of the shampoo (personal preference), but I love the conditioner! My hair feels so lovely after using the conditioner - light and silky soft with a beautiful scent. I love the fact that it is NZ made, it's hard to find that these days. Overall, pretty impressed :)
