This heat protector is by far my favourite to use! I have been known to change my hair colour ALOT! So with that being said, my hair has had quite a lot of damage. This product is super light and really repairing. It doesn't make my hair greasy and smells amazing too! I never use any heat (hair drier or GHD's)on my hair without a heat protector and this one is the one I recommend to all my friends/clients that have some damage in their hair also. It is protein based so it great for weakened hair.

Tips: I like to use this after every wash to protect my hair from heat damage. Only use a little bit and apply to lengths-ends!
I have this along with the shampoo & conditioner and these products are great, they have helped revive my hair to an alright standard, I am using a different shampoo & conditioner at the moment as my hair is Rainbows with Manic Panic but the Ciment Thermique is really helping as I apply a lot of heat with blow drying & straightening.
I have also had a bottle of this for around 12 months now so it really does last the distance
After dying my hair continuously, blow drying and straightening it of course it was damaged. My hair dresser suggested I use Kerastase in my hair after every wash. I have been using it for the last 4 years and my hair is better then ever. Its great during the summer after the beach and after you've washed your hair.
Tips: Towel dry your hair as much as you can and put a tiny rub about a 50c coin amount through your hands, focus on the ends of your hair.
Great product for anyone with damaged hair. It smells great and really helps to strengthen your hair, and protect from heat damage.
Tips: Use it after every time your wash your hair - even if you aren't using heat as it also works as a leave in treatment to strengthen your hair
I would definitely recommend this product. I have permed & coloured hair & it takes away the fuzziness & gives your hair a lovely soft silky finish. It does seem to coat the hair with a non-greasy silicone like feel to your hair. I also found if you do apply heat (ie blow waver) after application it definitely last longer in your hair. It must work as none of my hair has broken after the harsh treatment of colour on top of perm. Awesome product and well worth the money.
Tips: If you want the effect to last longer in your hair - gently warm hair with blow waver after application of product. If you would like it to go further in your hair wet your hands first before application. :)
I have blond hair and have foils, my hair is naturaly curly so quite dry, becuase of this I have to work very hard not to damage it any further. I use Kerastase Ciment Thermique after every wash and always, always before heat styling. It is not only a heat protector but actually repairs and strengthens the hair from the inside out, activated by the heat. Totally guilt free heat styling.
I have dry damaged highlighted hair, which i am always straightening. I have been using the Kerastase range for a long while- and I LOVE IT. This product is absolutely indispensable if you have chemically processed/weak hair and use hot tools on it. It leaves my hair silky, shiny and soft. I use it with the other products of the Kerastase and Redken ranges for the best result. The only downside ... it is expensive! But it lasts a long time as you do not need too much product to get fantastic results. Im due to buy another bottle of this so if anyone knows any stores or websites where i/we can find this cheaper please comment below :)
The smell is absolutely gorgeous. It is a lovely texture. Only problem is you have to wash your hands right away or they will be a bit sticky, but that is to be expected. Works really really well. If it's good enough for a hairdresser, it is certainly good enough for me.
Expensive, but worth it.
My hair dresser recommended this for me when I had my hair lightened as a protectant when straightening my hair. I used this with my GHDS and found that it worked really well. I would apply a small amount to the hair when straightening and found that quite a bit of steam came off the hair when the heat was applied. I found that it had a really nice citrusy smell kind of like grapefruit. After straightening my hair it felt soft and smooth and had a really nice smell to it.
I would definitely recommend washing your hands after use as your hands can feel slightly sticky.
Also a downside of this product is that it is quite pricey but I found as long as you use it as they advised it did last a few months.
I purchased this from Rodney Wayne after my stylist reccomended it to help repair my hair that was damaged after having it blonde for some time and frequently use of hot irons.
I have had a problem with my hair snaping as I straighten every day and was keen to see If this product was as good as it boasted it was.
I used only a tiny amount and applied to my damp hair, the small amount spread really well and smelt devine!
I'm normally not a fan of creams as they can leave my hair feeling heavy and dirty. This didnt leave my hair feeling like either of those.
My irons smoothed straight over the product and left my hair feeling silky, smooth and soft! I definitley noticed my hair growing over the months I used it (it lasts for ever) due to less hair breakage.
Totally love this product and it lasts a very long time! Worth every penny!
Tips: Use less than you think you need as it spreads a long way!
