Lush Godiva Solid Hair Shampoo

This. Smells. Divine. After using it for the first time I had multiple compliments on how shiny and glossy my hair looked. I feel like it could be a little more conditioning, but for a small bar of shampoo it sure does deliver.

I was first intrigued by Lush's range of solid shampoos and conditioners when I needed something for travel. I was instantly drawn to Godiva because of it's jasmine scent- one of my favourite smells. I was then blown away by how soft and glossy my hair was after using it just once! My hair was left super shiny, delightfully scented and gloriously tangle free! I will be purchasing this forever.

I tried this as a sample from Lush and loved it! So good for travel/camping and the smell is gorgeous. The only frustration is that it really isn't as conditioning as I need for my hair - would be good on virgin hair but for those of us with dyed hair, it might not have the moisture you need.

This smells amazing and will make your hair smell great. Strangers turned their heads to sniff when I walked by but in terms of shampooing ability, this bar is so-so and I prefer the other shampoo bars that Lush produces.

However, the shampoo bar is great for taking to the gym as it takes up very little space but it will break apart easily if waterlogged so if you can afford it, buy the wee tin Lush has for these shampoo bars.

This product is to die for when it comes to smell. I bought specifically after smelling it on a friend. However, I found that it didn't really give me a clean feeling. I used it more for the smell in combination with my normal shampoo and conditioner. However, it was a pain to store so I eventually gave up.

Might just be me, but I reacted pretty badly to this product - had scalp irritation and itching. I don't have hyper sensitive skin, but sometimes react to fruit-based shampoos (especially citrus/strawberry), so that could be it. If your skin can be fussy, buyer beware.

I brought this last year for traveling. I brought the tin as well, and after getting the bar stuck in there, i switched to a screw top plastic container. It was a good product, made my hair feel lovely, but it made my sensitive scalp itchy. I have tried the Tricho and Jungle Conditioner, I love the products, but don't think the solid types are for me. I love American Creme conditioner from LUSH the most.

I love this!! Bottled shampoos and conditioners leave residue in my hair and make my scalp itchy. Godiva makes my hair feel fresh and makes it so shiny!

The reason why i tried this was because of the fact I love the smell of jasmine and also in those mornings that are a rush. This is my second solid shampoo trail from lush (my first was 'new') and I can say that I liked it alot but the times used with an added conditioner the ends of my hair seemed meh. It's really hard to explain but let's just say when I use it now with a conditioner it works better.
