L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Conditioner Review

The conditioner part of the duo made my hair feel soft, easy to brush and style and smoother when used alongside the shampoo. They have a fragrance that is delicate.

If you have the 'frizz' this is the conditioner for you. I loved the way you didn't have to use much of it and it left my hair smooth and shiny. After some conditioners the frizz returns the next day not so with this one, my hair stayed smooth and shiny until the next wash. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days because it so thick.

Thankfully I got to try both the Shampoo and Conditioner. I had high hopes for the L'Oreal range, and was excited about the new ads on TV suggesting they are including keratin in some of the hair care products.

Firstly, I'll start by saying I liked how light the conditioner was, but to be honest I didn't feel overly clean afterwards. If you have read my shampoo review you will see that I have naturally curly hair which when a product is good will go into quite nice loose spiral curls, unfortunately this wasn't the case with this product. Between that and the unclean feeling I'm not a big fan.

I really liked this conditioner it made my hair silky smooth and was very nice for a supermarket brand.Having bleached hair I found after a few weeks I needed to return to my saloon conditioner.I felt that if you had slightly damaged hair this product would be enough but wasn't enough for my hair.

I will say this product is only alright - good if your usual product is not available. It did not perform as well as my salon products in that it doesn't not leave my hair knot free and smooth, nor silky.

A great design with the lid at the bottom of the bottle means you get to use every last drop without having to shake or upturn the bottle. I found I had to use a lot of the product and leave it on for a while (my hair is quite thick and coloured and I usually use treatments rather than conditioner). But for someone with not such course hair i'm sure it would be fantastic! :-)

found this product restored my dull, damaged hair , became very shiny and silky and bouncy soft ,beautiful creamy texture and will be continuing to use this product to strengthen my hair and give it vitality and shine was very happy with this product and the end results where perfect, highly recommended product for treated, damaged,burnt-out hair

I always prefer conditioner as it's what makes my hair look nourished. This gave me defined curls and looked like it dealt to my split ends a little bit. I did find these products better than my other 'drugstore' products and had similar effects to the products you trial at the hairdressers.

Love this conditioner it makes my hair smooth after using the shampoo and helps with repairing damages aswel , also found it easy to brush through my hair without any knots only bad thing is my scalp got itchy was thinking maybe it was because my skin was to sensitive to the product

I found that the conditioner was not moisturising and nourishing enough for my hair, and found that my hair was getting a lot more split ends and damage than I would normally get with my regular shampoo and conditioner. For the first couple of weeks my hair did look more shiny, fuller and softer but by the third week my hair started looking more coarse and dry and more damaged than usual. I only used heat styling once this whole time trialing and used a good heat protector so I didn't have any reason for my hair to have so many split ends. Overall it didn't really live up to its Total Repair name =(
