Got these (WILLOW) in the recent vault haul. Sleek packaging that matches the magnetic liner. Black box, silver writing. Descriptions on the box highlight features of these lashes. A window panel lets you see the lash style clearly.
Trying to get the lashes out of the tray was a trial in testing my patience. It has 2 little glue pads per lash I assume to hold the lashes in place. It was a challenge to remove the lashes without pulling it apart or damaging the magnets on each end. Some of the individual lashes got stuck on the adhesive and I had to use tweezers to separate the clumps.
The lash band has 3 magnets, located at both ends and in the middle. In terms of application, the 3 magnets did the job . Personally i'd like 2 more magnets between the spaces which in theory would make for better staying power. I didn't need to trim these lashes down to fit my eye shape. However if you needed to do this I don't know how you would as there in space with the magnets in place.
Very lightweight and I like the look of these. I wore these during the day at work and it's a nice look. Gives a little something extra but not over the top. I like the idea of these and have found it slightly easier to use than the traditional lash and glue which I can't master at all. I think these would be great for beginner lash wearers but still think the design could be improved.
I like it enough that I want to buy the dramatic set of lashes just to give it a go. Would like to see other lash styles in the magnetic range also.
Was very excited to trial this as I’m a huge fan of falsies and love dramatic eyes. Have used the normal glue on lashes by manicare a number of times but first time trying magnetic ones. Easy to follow Instructions are on the pack and they are priced similarly to the glue on lashes. I received the Willow natural looking lashes. My natural lashes are long but because I have hooded eyes I find the more dramatic ones look better on me. The lashes has 3 small magnets, one on each side and one in the center. I didn’t need to cut them because glam lashes normally are a standard size for me and doesn’t require any adjustments. However you might have a problem if you do need to cut the sides to make them shorter to fit you eye as there isn’t a way to shorten them without cutting and losing some of the magnets on the side. The lashes were lightweight and easy to apply and blended well with my natural lashes and as described they looked very natural. Personally I would’ve liked to trail the more dramatic one which is Khole. After applying the eyeliner and waiting for it to dry a little, putting on the lash was really easy, however keeping in on was an issue. The inner corner kept on popping up every few minutes which I found really annoying. I have used this 5 times now and every time I find that after a few minutes the inner corner just pops up. Even though I’m just sitting and no wind or crazy eye movements it still pops up and I have to reapply the liner to keep it down. When you take the lashes off it ends up pulling off the eyeliner as well and ends up looking pretty messed up, so you need to reapply the liner, fix the smudge and put on the lashes again. The initial application is so easy but what a shame that the inner corner couldn’t stay down for me. Would have loved this to work but sadly it didn’t.
