GHD V Gold Classic Styler Review

I have had my ghd styler for five years and it is still going strong. If I section my hair and use product my hair will stand up to some serious action. I use it to 'run over' waves to make my hair look more presentable during the day - a quick lazy fix for work.

Don't know where I would be without my GHD! It straightens my hair much faster than any other straightener I've ever used! The price was a big factor for me but was definitely worth it. It somehow manages to tame my frizzy hair and get it perfectly straight. The only downside to this straightener is that you cant adjust the temperature so you have to always use it at high heat.

I have been using this product for about 5 years now. They have revolutionized hair styling and are an essential for anyone with longer hair who wants the sleek straight look. I have found them to be excellent and recommend 100%.

Ive owned my ghd's for years now and I just cant imagine life without them. Well made with a good reputation behind them. Of all my beauty products I have got the most bang for my buck with these irons and I know many people who would say the same.

Before this straightener i had the thick style ghd because my hair is extremely thick so i was quite nervous to try the thin ghd. It ended up being just as easy for my hair and surprisingly doesn't take any longer.

These hair straighteners have a good reputation because they are a quality product. Every GHD I have owned have served me very well, and these are no different. They heat up quickly and allow me to straighten my hair in record time (usually before running out the front door to work). 9 times out of 10 my hair will still look good at the end of the day too! Can't give them a 5/5 rating though as they dont have adjustable heating options... that would be the icing on the cake!

I've always heard people rave about GHD so my expectations were very high. When I first used my GHD I was expecting god like results - which is probably too much for any product, especially if I am the one wielding it!

Each time I've straightened my hair with this it lasts only a few hours, even if I do a thoroughly good job of it. Despite following tutorials and using specialty products I have never seen long lasting results. While I think the GHD is head and shoulders above the competition I found that even it was unable to keep the ends of my hair curling after a few hours.

On the positive side, I found that this straightener dries my hair far less than other straighteners I have tried and I think it does a great deal less damage. I would say it is a good product, as it heats up quickly and is well made, but it's not a miracle worker.

Heats up quickly, well marketed and certainly does the job of curling or straightening which lasts. One problem there is no temperature control so if you have fine coloured hair it is set on the same high temperature as if you had non coloured thick course hair. After a while the plates become worn which results in them not sliding down your hair as easily causing burn bands
