Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I have been using this for years - I love it! Perfect for summer holidays as a quick moisturiser, sunblock and light coverage. Just the smell of it reminds me of holidays...

The consistency is quite thick so when applying use a little bit and apply more for coverage, otherwise you may end up with 'streaks'. Lasts all day on a normal Wellington day, however when I used it in high humidity places it did slide off a bit so I had to reapply.

There is a claim that it improves your skin. I don't notice much difference in my skin when using it, but I do like how my skin looks - fresh, even toned and glowy.

Bottom line - this is an affordable product that is pretty great!

Having an uneven skin tone as well as acne scarring, I have tried my fair share of BB creams. This one from Garnier really does the trick for me! I use it every morning. I don't even bother with foundation anymore, as this cream gives you a lovely light coverage. It is a little thick but it spreads well. It has a nice scent too which is a bonus and I always feel more confident leaving the house once I've applied it - it gives me a fresh, healthy and natural glow which I love. The only downside is you will need a second application if you want to maintain that look all day.

I have been using Asian BB creams for years so when I noticed more and more Western BB creams popping up, I decided to try some out. This Garnier BB cream was the first one that I tried.

Usually warm-toned products work well on me but the tone on this was particularly orange and a little too dark. As well as that, I have normal, leaning towards dry, skin but this BB cream left my skin feeling really oily and greasy. Even as a BB cream. it felt really thick and left me feeling like I'd caked on foundation or likewise. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this one.

I completed surveys on a website and had earned enough points for a farmers $20 gift card so thought i would go and buy a bb cream and this is the one i chose. I had heard really good things about bb creams so i was really excited to try it! Turns out i was quite disappointed with the quality. It has the apple scent most garnier products have, which i actually didn't like being on my face. The bb cream itself was quite creamy and didn't have much coverage so a lot was needed on the face. Once it was on it left my skin feeling very greasy and oily which was a major negative for me as i already have very oily skin. This bb cream didn't really do what i was hoping it would. I'm really glad that i didn't spend my actual money on it. I am very dissappointed with the product and it turned me off trying any other bb creams :(

This was the first BB cream I have ever used and I will always go back to it. It is very hydrating and moisturising and it literally makes my face glow. If I dont set it with a powder, it has a beautiful dewy finish but if do set it, it just looks like normal skin on my face but better! I have normal to dry skin so the dewiness is great for me but I dont know how well it will work for people with oily skin. This is the product I wear almost every day when I go to uni because its so light and makes me look awake,it also has a light coverage so it looks very natural.I Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an everyday bb cream.

I like it, although can dry up a little bit around my forehead - where my trouble pimple area resides, but hopefully with a new skin routine, my skin should clear up and it'll look flawless and healthy with the bb cream :) It's got a nice dewy finish and with a spritz of my MAC Fix + spray, it keeps powderiness at bay

This is my first BB cream (I never understood the hype around something so close to a tinted moisturiser) It gives me the same coverage as a light foundation but it comes out of the tube really thick so I was expecting something a little mid coverage type. A small pea sized amount usually covers my whole face (I don't like using a lot of product). Not sure if its a one off or maybe how they all are but it comes with a yummy smell to it. I don't like how it gives you a dewy finish, I like matte finishes but its nothing a little powder finish cant fix. Unfortunately this is the lightest colour and it is still a shade too dark but thankfully its only a shade and due to it being light coverage its barely noticeable. I have normal to dry skin and even moisturising before hand; this product still isnt moisturising enough so my nose dries out during the day. I personally wouldn't purchase this again so I'm thankful I was gifted this one.

Light coverage but enough to make you have that "your skin but better" look. I think they need to come out with more colour selection because their "fair" is quite dark on me. I would only use this in the summer time because it would definitely not match my skin tone in winter. It's quite oily so may need to use some powder to set it in place. Good for wearing to the beach as it includes some sunblock (being a BB cream). It feels light which is always good.

So i brought this as a weekend wearer i wasnt expecting fantastic results and kind of glad that i thought that!! This is nice for the days where you dont want to wear makeup but not want to have a naked face a very light coverage similar to a tinted moisturiser it left my face quite shiny and dewy looking and without a powder just melted off. For the price $ 16.99 i think is actually a little steep

This product would be best suited to someone starting out in the makeup world or a teenage.

The pigment is quite dark im glad that i only purchased the light shade or i would have a orange halo around my face and neck!!!

even thou this product wasnt for me i think it could be better suited to a younger age group its very easy to apply and a little goes a long way.

I bought this in light but it's still too dark for me. I find it to be extremely light coverage but it does even out my skintone more or less. It's definitely moisturising but aside from that I haven't noticed any significant improvement to my skin. I rub it in like a moisturiser and it is a bit oily at first but it does absorb. I use this as a primer or a tinted moisturiser/sunscreen and that's basically all it's good for as far as I can tell.
