Nice light tinted moisturiser.

This BB cream comes out white but blends into your skin tone. I have medium light skin tone and this was nice and light in texture. It doesn't cover up imperfections but evens out skin tone which is nice to wear on weekends or during lockdowns when you have Zoom meetings. It also smells lovely.

I can't say it provides long-lasting 24 hydrating care, but you can easily reapply this on the go without brushes.

Tips: Warm it up on your finger tips and apply like you would with moisturiser.

BB cream

Recently Ive been hearing a lot of good things about BB creams. They sounded amazing and I instantly jumped online and started researching, reading reviews to find one to buy. I don't have a lot of spare cash, so I do research a lot before I lay down my hard earned cash. So obviously I was delighted to have the opportunity to review this BB cream.

Firstly, I have super super fair skin with no natural colour (blushed checks etc) so people always ask if I'm sick. I also have dark circles under the eyes (night shift worker), bit of a freakly red splotches and recently Ive had a few pimples too. YAY, so to sum up - I naturally look like death..

It only comes in 2 shades. Light and medium. So I ordered the light shade. The packaging looks nice. Its a squeeze tube with the nozzle at the bottom so there shouldn't be much product wastage once you get down to the end of the product.

I was shocked when i did squeeze the cream out as it looked so dark! (my skin is so white clinique is the only brand so far that has foundation white enough for me). The smell wasn't the best either. Consistency wise - it was nice, felt smooth and velvety.

Day 1: I washed my face as normal, dried, then applied the BB cream over half my face - I wanted to see if I could notice a difference in before and after. And I honestly could not see a difference at all, my skin felt moisturised. However, the colouring looked exactly the same. Pimples, dark eyes, red splotches all stayed the same. It goes on very thin - so id call it a tinted moisturiser maybe? But even then I didn't notice a colour difference. I left my face like this all day (I dont get out much) and I felt like at the end of the day my face did need more moisture.

Day 2: I did a full makeup look. Washed and moisturised first. 2 layers of BB cream. Concealer for eyes and pimples. Blush for cheeks. Eye makeup etc. I just couldn't grow to love this product. My skin colour didnt look even at all, it just looked like I had nothing on. Also, because I applied more of it I noticed that it did rub off onto clothing.

Long story short, this product wasn't for me.

Tips: I have read good things about this product from others and for the price - so cheap! It wouldn't hurt to give it a try. So I would recommend to others. I just need more coverage than this has to offer.

Provides quite good coverage

My skin has orange undertones is usually dry, with an oily surface (i.e. t zone gets quite shiny throughout the day), and I have pimples to cover around my chin and can be sensitive to specific products, but usually doesn't react.

I found that comparing this BB Cream to others I have tried (Shiseido and Za) it is a lot lighter and provides less coverage with what feels like a more oily base. However, this coverage could be built up a little without looking cakey (unless I added too much), but did not manage to completely cover the problem chin area (though this is often a difficult area to cover. It blended in well to my skin (though is probably a little pinker than my usual shade) and did not cause any reaction.

I think that because the product is lighter than the other BB Cream I use and seems to feel a little oilier, it did not last all day, particularly in the oily t-zone area I mentioned I have. It just slid off in my oilier areas, but did stay on quite well in the cheeks area, and covered the redness I tend to have in my cheeks. However, I did find the sun protection SPF15, a little bit of a let down, as with paler skin, I know it is not enough to protect me.

For the quantity in the packaging the price seems to be one of the cheapest BB Creams available and though I do prefer the other BB Creams that I've used, this is a good alternative. I will be interested to see how long the tube lasts, as I do find myself using more than with my Za BB Cream due to the lighter consistency, and therefore it might not be as cost effective.

Overall, I was really quite happy with the results of the Garnier BB Cream and it increased my expectations of this brand. The packaging was eye catching and well made giving all the information needed about the product and it's uses. And though it did not cover or last as well as my current BB cream, it did do a pretty good job. I'll probably wouldn't buy this again, due to the difficulty with the oily t-zone and the lower sun protection (my current BB Cream is SPF 43). However, I will finish the tube and keep it in mind if my skin changes and for maybe winter. Also, I may recommend it to a friend under the right circumstances. I'm giving this a 3.5-4/5

Tips: Apply to clean, toned and moisturised skin with your fingers. For a nicer finish use a foundation brush.

Not really a Miricle

Unfortunately I am not a fan of really anything about this product. The fragrance was pleasant, but almost a little too floral for my tastes. But Starting with... The Formula: I found this incredibly thick, and I am used to thick BB creams my regular is Lioele Triple, but I found this to have a really strange consistency, it reminded me of Nivea Young's Tinted Moisturiser, while t seemed to blend ok (I used a buffing brush to apply) it just does not sit on the skin well. The Shade: I am generally a pretty tan person, but this colour of the Medium tone is so orange, I had to use a very light powder over top to counteract the orange base. It is not flattering and I cant even picture what sort of skin colour a person would have to have to match with this shade well. As for giving healthy and flawless skin I definitely don't think so. Overall I wouldn't recommend this to another person, the texture of the product alone was enough to put me off, for a product that markets itself as a light touch of make up, it is very heavy and thick feeling, my regular foundation which is a medium coverage feels lighter to wear! Because I don't like to be mean to products I will finish with a positive, and that was the packaging, I really like the compact wee tube!

The Best Affordable BB Cream You Can Own.

Skin Type: My skin type changes throughout the year from Normal in summer to Slightly dry in winter. I occasionally get the odd breakout but it's never an issue.

Consistency: The BB cream itself is a nice semi-thick cream, not watery or overly thick like some other brands out there. I also found the colour match to be perfect (I have light skin).

Application: I applied this differently over a few days, first with my fingers, then with a sponge and lastly with a foundation brush. I found that it went on best with my fingers, the brush left obvious brush marks on my skin that needed blending out with my fingers or my sponge. The sponge didn't seem to give as nice a finish either and I ended up just blending with my fingers anyway. It glided on nice and smoothly, it is easy to blend out to get the right finish that you are after. I just applied over top of my everyday foundation, I personally don't use primers with BB creams.

Fragrance: The fragrance is hard to describe, it is far from unpleasant, it is almost a cross between floral and something else. It is most noticeable for the first 30mins-1hour after application.

Coverage: I would say that this is a sheer coverage product, however, I have noticed that it is buildable. I found that it covered the slight redness on my cheeks very well and and sat nicely over the dry patch in between my brows, there was no dry/flaky skin to be seen.It has a nice semi-matte finish, it seems to depend on what lighting you're under. Certainly not powdery or oily.

Longevity: I wore this all day, while running errands, going out for a walk, and going to work. It really did last all day, I did not have to touch up at all during the day. It lasts as long as Garnier says it will.

Price: The price I found was reasonable. You don't need much of the product each application, I have a feeling that one tube will last me a few months, making it cost-effective. It is well worth paying a little bit extra for this over say, Maybelline Dream Pure BB, which I found to be quite runny and difficult to apply. The best thing is, is that you can get it from any supermarket, pharmacy or department store.

Packaging: The packaging is pleasing to eye and I feel rather understated for the awesome product it contains. It's simple, looks clean and clearly advertises the product.

Results: I feel the product did what it claimed to, it provided long lasting coverage with a natural 'no make-up' look. I feel it's the right product for me when I'm having a 'no make-up, make-up day'. I noticed that I did not have to touch up over the day nor did I notice any dry patches or oily patches.

Recommendation: I would definitely recommend this BB Cream to all my friends and family or anyone who is looking for a no-fuss good coverage BB cream. It is long-lasting and it glides on like a dream.

Tips: I found applying the BB cream with my fingers gave a better finish and it sits really well on top of moisturizer. It could also be used as a base for a sheer-medium coverage foundation.

Love, Hate Relationship!

I have a complete love hate relationship with this BB cream, I have been using a lot of different BB creams lately. I found the scent very over-powering. I loved the fact that unlike many other BB Creams it did not make my skin pale, I liked that it wasn't too runny. I will definitely use it every now and then as a base for my foundation. I feel it is a light coverage and would be good to use in the summer time instead of a heavy foundation. I have also noticed my foundation is staying on a lot longer now I have been using this BB cream as a primer. Thanks Garnier!

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

Today as my parcel arrived I raced to the door! I couldn't wait to try my Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream -for normal skin. This product claims to be an all in 1 BB cream which was; 24hr* Hydration, Evens complexion, Corrects blemishes, Boosts healthy glow, Uv Protection SPF 15. The top of the box also claims 'Instantly Perfect Skin' which is a big claim to make! I have 'normal' skin and only occasionally if i don't use primer my nose may become a little bit oily with my foundation by the end of the day. Unfortunately I did find my nose to be a little bit oily with the bb cream quite soon after application. The consistency was fairly thick and creamy but it did spread quite well. I use my fingers the first time but was itching to put it on with my usual flat top buffing brush -I tired this the next time and did prefer it, although with a bb cream I feel like you should be able to just pop it on effortlessly with fingers or you may aswell be using foundation.. It is quite strong smelling, to be honest I can't decide if I like it or not. It is not unpleasant though. The coverage is reasonable, I personally have freckles that I don't want to cover but it was enough to give me a fairly even complexion, so i'm happy with that. I am also very pleased with the finish it is not matte and not too dewey just a perfect healthy looking in-between. It has lasted pretty well throughout the day (minus making my nose feel a bit oily) The price is reasonable for a BB cream $17.50 is what i would expect to pay. It is a 50ml bottle so it will last me a long time (I have no makeup days so i wont be wearing it more than a few times a week) The packaging is just standard nothing wow but no complaints either, it is user friendly. The only thing I would have liked more is if there was plastic around the lid for peace of mind that it hasn't been used before! I am not 100% convinced that it did everything it claimed. The statement on the box 'Instantly perfect skin' I definitely found my skin far from perfect. It also didn't correct any blemishes I had nor under my eyes. But in saying that i did love the 'healthy glow' that it stated on the box and that it is SPF 15 - always a bonus! I personally wasn't wowed by this product but i think it would suit some of my friends well so I will be recommending it to them.

Tips: I didn't use a primer as I personally think bb creams are for your low maintenance days but for some people it may be a good idea as i did find it a bit tiny tad greasy on my nose. Also when applying with your fingers just be carefully to spread it everywhere and you could even use a flat top brush to just buff in any lines you may have left. I also found it made my neck a little pasty so you could take it down your neck a little bit. Or wear a scarf :P I don't thick that would be a problem in summer though.

Gorgeous, but not for me.

There are many really great things about having porcelain skin. It's striking and means you suit tonnes of lip colours, but is not so great in that you must search to the ends of the earth for complexion products and avoid the sun like the plague. I have been blessed with NW5/10 skin that I love and look after, and so I put my hand up for this trial to do all fair skinned ladies like me a service and see if this product in 'light' really was light enough. I knew it would be touch and go, and that since such products need to be formulated to fit a range of skin tones, I recieved this product cautiously hopeful but ready to be dissapointed. Alas, as per my prediction this product is significantly too dark for moi. I reckon that for about NC/NW20 to 30 it would be just beautiful. And that is because it is a really beautiful product. It applies like a dream, feels just like a moisturiser and hydrates the skin without being heavy or sticky. It veils the skin with a lovely lightweight coverage that seems to blend and blurr out uneveness and give the skin a gorgeous dewy lustre. Did I use enough adjectives in that sentence? I think so. I did try this on my face despite it not being my shade and I loved the way that it blended out into the skin and provided a coverage which was somewhat between that of a tinted moisturiser and a light coverage foundation. Win. My sister and mother both gave it a go and thought it made their skin look awesome. I think that for 17.50 you can't go wrong with this product, and I'm very thrilled that Garnier is churning out very high quality products at affordable prices. If only they made it in extra-light. The expedition for a pale BB continues!

Tips: Moisturise beforehand if you have dry skin, and set with powder if you tend to get oily.

I'm in the same boat as you and have found this BB cream to be too dark, but I'm loving the Dream Fresh BB Cream by Maybelline! The 'Light' shade is finally an actual light shade! If you're still looking for a BB cream, I highly recommend that one!

Miracle BB Cream

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this BB Cream! It's the first one I've tried, only because I didn't think they would do anything for me as I usually like fuller coverage foundations. This BB cream is now a favourite of mine and I will definitely be using it heaps in the future... :) I really like that Garnier has come out with a few different BB creams for different skin types, it means there is something for everyone. I like the packaging, its cute and easy to use, the squeezy tube allows better control of how much product comes out. It looks quite dark when you squeeze it out but don't let that scare you, it blends away to almost no colour whatsoever. Its very creamy and smells pleasant. Like I said it blends away very well, but still gives a nice amount of coverage. It makes the skin look smoother, more radiant and hydrated. It lasts on my skin a good 7-8 hours I would say. Has no shine or oilyness. Minimizes the appearance of pores and is nice and light on the skin, not heavy at all. I think this product would be perfect for girls who don't like to wear allot of makeup during the day because it makes your skin look naturally flawless without the weight of a foundation.

Tips: Apply like you would your everyday moisturizer, so don't be afraid to use your fingers! I like to wear mine under foundation as well as on its own, it makes a great base and I've found it makes my foundation last allot longer on the skin. Remember it does have very light coverage so you can get away with a second layer ;)
