Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

If you're looking for a BB cream which gives light coverage and blurs imperfections, then this a great choice. This product has a thick and creamy texture which absorbs into the skin easily. The perfect product to give your face a bit of a lift on those days where you still want light coverage but not a full face of make-up.

The BB Cream I received was in the shade light/clair. I am very fair and normally would be a light shade however I found this to be a little dark for me.My skin type is usually normal, but can get a little dry, I found with this they say to use it instead of moisturiser however I tried it both ways and it worked best with moisturiser underneath it. The product comes out quite thick but it as you apply it (I just used my fingers which worked well) it smooths out very easily, and you don't need as much product as you would think. Applies very much the same as a moisturiser and doesn't need as much blending as foundation. The BB cream smells like other Garnier products, a very pleasant, fresh smell however you can't smell it once you've applied all of your makeup. It is quite a sheer coverage, it definitely makes the skin look a little covered, however I still used concealer for blemishes and undereye circles. I have used this product everyday for work and loved it as I get a more natural looking face. I didn't like the product when I used foundation over top of it. I found that it just made my face feel thick and cakey. I did need powder to set the BB cream because it had a very shiny looking finish to it, when I like to have quite a matte face. I haven't tried many BB creams but for the price I would probably not recommend this product to anyone or repurchase it myself, I would like to try other BB creams of a similar price range because I think there would be a better product on the market. The packaging is very good, it looks fresh and simple, it is easy to get the product out because you just squeeze how much you want and since it has a thick texture there's no danger of accidentally taking too much product out. Overall I think this product doesn't really do what it says because it didn't help to blur and blemishes and only slightly evened out my skin tone, however with a little help from concealer it does give a nice natural look when you don't want to have a full face.

My skin type is normal and sometimes gets a bit dry. There are a few areas that need a bit of extra coverage. The consistency was nice and thick and didn't separate like another BB cream did that I have used. Application was easy and I just used my fingers to smooth it on. It had quite a strong fragrance, which I don't really like and thought it made it seem cheaper but I found the fragrance went away once it was applied. The coverage was pretty good for a BB cream. I don't think it corrected blemishes like it claims. When I used it on it's own it didn't last for the whole day. I think for what it is and how well it works it's pretty inexpensive and based on price I would be inclined to use it again. The packaging was ok but could be cleaner looking with less words on the box and they could get rid of the box altogether. The bottle was good for just getting the amount you need. I don't think it completely does was it claims in terms of the blemish correction but it was moisturising and did make my skin tone more even. I would recommend this to a friend if they were looking for an inexpensive BB cream that works just as well as some of the more expensive ones.

My skin type is normal . The product consistency was medium thickness and easy to squeeze from the tube. Application was extremely easy and I just applied this like a normal foundation. It glided across my skin really nicely and did not feel sticky or gooy. There was no fragrance that I could detect. Covergar was absolutely brilliant and I did not need to use very much of the product for great coverage. The product lasted most of the workday for me and I did not fine it rubbed onto my hands and got on anything lijke a lot of other products do. The packaging was quite subdued and not very vibrant. The results were amazing , my skin felt amazing all day long and very soft and it continued to look good all day. I would recommend this to anyone

My skin is normal and therefore I requested the normal BB cream - I don't have many issues with my skin however I do like a fully covered look that makes my skin all one tone rather than multiple tones, and this BB cream did just that, it kept my skin EXTREMELEY hydrated and produced a one skin tone look. It has a nice creamy texture which makes it easy to apply (I Used fingers to place it on and then brush to blend it in) and makes your face feel nice and smooth. I couldn't really smell any fragrance while it was on my face. Its definitely not a complete Full Coverage (and it does not state to claim this either) however it does create a one tone look which is great for casual outings/going to university. I did find it to be too dewy sometimes, in the middle of the day I had to blot my face with tissue to lift the Dewey look off, but it did last an 8 hour day. Price was not too bad either, I began to use it more as a primer and actually mixed it in with my regular full cover foundation which worked SO WELL. I mixed a little bit of foundation with a little bit of BB cream then applied with a blending brush and it gave a full cover with a nice moisturized look - and for a party I also applied mineral powder on top to lock it all in and it looked amazing. The packaging was nice and appropriate for this product and easy to read and use. Overall the product definitely did what it said it would do, which is great, however I would not purchase the 'normal skin' one and maybe try the 'oily skin' version to see if that excess Dewey look disappears. I would highly recommend this product for someone who does not want full coverage, and someone who has very dry skin as I feel this is a great way to keep the moister in your skin!

I've tried a few different BB creams and this one is at the top for sure.

It has really great coverage without feeling heavy or oily. I don't notice it at all when i've got it on.

Super easy to apply, I just use my fingers and apply it like moisturiser.

Also is great value for money as you only need a small amount to get full coverage. I used about a pea sized drop and that is probably a little generous.

I have fair to medium complection and the light shade was perfect for me.

I'm not sure i would agree with the claim of instantly flawless skin but I do like the way my skin looks when I use this. I also have sensitive reactive skin and this product is totally safe for me to use which I love.

All in all i would definitely recommend this to others.

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this BB Cream! It's the first one I've tried, only because I didn't think they would do anything for me as I usually like fuller coverage foundations. This BB cream is now a favourite of mine and I will definitely be using it heaps in the future
