Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I have very oily acne prone skin and so I have been looking for a foundation/bb cream that isn't too full coverage to be able to wear to work etc. This bb cream is very light and runny, almost watery. The first time I applied it was with a flat top foundation brush and I did not like the result at all. It looked cakey and patchy as well. The next few times I applied the bb cream was with a beauty blender and it blended in beautifully and so easily. This bb cream has a very strong smell that I personally do not like but goes away within a few minutes. It is a light-medium coverage, when I use this bb cream I still have to use concealer to hide blemishes but I am satisfied with the coverage compared to other bb creams. The longevity of this bb cream is not as great as I had hoped. I wear this bb cream to work with a powder on top and on each break which is approximately every 2 hours I have to touch up because my makeup is slipping off my skin. This bb cream is definitely a good price for the quality and is even cheaper than some bb creams that are not as good. In my opinion, the product runs out of the tube way too fast which results in too much product being used, the tub would need to have a smaller hole that the product comes out of. Even though my skin wasn't as oily as it usually is throughout the day after wearing makeup, by skin still did get quite oily from this bb cream that was supposed to be suitable for oily skin. I would recommend it, not to someone with super oily skin like myself but someone with combination-oily skin would love this.

I currently use this product it's great if you need to leave the house in a hurry. Easy application I just use my finger tips the coverage is better than most liquid foundations I have used before. It still however ends up sliding off my face within a few hours. It is cheap and effective for a natural look without the effort. I would recommend to a friend who does not have my skin type oily combination skin as it does create some shine even when first applied it's probably as matte as a liquid cream can get.

I really liked using this product it was easy to apply and looked great. It was light weight on my skin. Flawless when first applied but I did find by the end of the day my skin was slightly oily. This wouldn't put me off using it But I may only use it as a weekend product when it doesn't matter if it doesn't last the day.

Useful to wear under foundation to give it even more coverage, I would wear this with a moisturiser and primer first to ensure the best finish. Using a foundation brush to apply gives a nice even (slightly thicker) coverage. The colour isn't quite right, I guess I picked the wrong one! But with so few colours to choose from, it is understandable that it won't suit everyone. Wish there were testers at the store for this! I have noticed they don't seem to provide them... Wears a little during the day and doesn't quite cover larger pimple scars, but covers redness & pores relatively well.

My skin is usually very sensitive and most face products burn or sting when first applied but this product did neither. It's very light but runny texture and a little goes a long way, I found it a bit orange but once i blended it in well it evened out. It evened the redness of my skin tone.while still being sheer and light weight for the no make-up look

I love the natural coverage I get with this and I don't feel caked. It makes my skin look healthy and evens my skin tone. I do find I still get quite oily and shiny so I just put a light powder over the top and my skin stays beautiful all day. It also lasts me a long time too which is a bonus!

This BB cream is probably the best of the bunch you can pick up in supermarkets/warehouse. It provides great day wear coverage however I have found if I don't use primer or moisturiser beforehand it does get a bit dry & flakey. I probably wouldn't use it as a moisturiser by itself. WANING : product is quite runny so make sure you are careful when opening the cap or there will be a BB cream explosion.

I love bb cream it works to cover blemshies and ipurites but its not a full coverage its just for a more natural look which I like

I like using this BB cream for light coverage when I can't be bothered doing a proper full-face, but I personally get quite oily during the day and at the end of a day of wearing BB Cream on it's own, I am very shiney. It does provide good coverage though, can be applied fairly quickly, contains light sunscreen protection, and makes my pimple scarring less visible which I like.
